Except the Jets. Fug 'em.

The offense was better last year than in 2018...yes or no?
-
The offense got better from Y1 to Y2. With a more experienced QB and a couple of new weapons, combined with OL continuity, why shouldn’t we expect further improvement this year? I chuckle at the “we know what Daboll is and he stinks” contingent. I think he has been adequate thus far, but has done a good job developing Allen and deserves the benefit of the doubt going into this season.

I absolutely love the fact that these two teams play each other this season.

What would/should a Milano extension look like?

Josh Norman Giving High Praise to the Bills
eball replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, isn’t this a nice fiery take? I think Norman played really well in McD’s system in Carolina and thus far he hasn’t been a “mouth” — he has been a respectful veteran voice who has praised his new teammates. Will his play earn significant playing time? We’ll see. But your comments don’t seem to fit reality. -
@Logic proving he deserves the nickname with the above post. Bravo.

It is really an amazing feeling, watching this organization making smart decisions. We are in for a great ride. -
Breaking news: Dawkins signs four year deal worth $60 mill

I really feel that 15M per year for the extension is a bit too much. Dion is a decent player but not top notch and I think he's going to regress now that he's getting paid. If they could have signed him for 9M per I'd be on board with this. Another short-sighted decision by Beane that will hamstring this team for years. Did I do that right?- 328 replies

Combined with calling anyone who likes the deal a shameless homer... -

The Beaner "shnows" what he's doing! Congrats Dion! Really good player and great team ambassador. -
Gunner's roster thread.... 2020 style - UPDATED
eball replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would agree with that if we were not now in year four of McD's regime. I think it's clear that there are a number of leaders in the locker room and I don't think Smith is "needed" in that capacity. -
Once again, as a Bills fan I'm really glad you're not running the show.

Yeah, BB really undressed him in that one, but it’s difficult to say for sure whether Goff holds them back as well. -
Bills benefit if schedule is changed...
eball replied to Mij yllek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You play who’s in front of you. I don’t concern myself with schedule strength projections and whatnot...we all know the NFL is “any given Sunday” and if you don’t prepare for the opponent in front of you you’ll get your asses kicked. I guarantee you that’s how McDermott sees it too. -
Gunner's roster thread.... 2020 style - UPDATED
eball replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As much as I agree with Gunner’s comments about how coaches love blocking TEs, I really feel like Lee Smith is a wasted roster spot because when he is in the game that’s one less skill position for defenses to worry about. -
When a team drafts a kicker it’s a little different than a typical 6th round pick. Unless Bass has been terrible in camp I think he absolutely makes the 53. I hear and somewhat agree with what you’re saying about “trusting” a rookie K without any in-game experience but they all have to cut their teeth at some point. You can bet your bottom dollar that when pads go on next week and they’re trying to simulate game situations they’ll be pressuring both of these guys, and I believe that will dictate whether Hauschka stays as the “short” kicker or they hand the job to Bass outright.

This. How quickly folks forget the Bills were a better road than home team last year, and in their three prime time appearances (at Dallas, at Pittsburgh, and at the Pats***) they fared very well. I think the Bills would have had a puncher’s chance against KC and refuse to believe they would have been blown out. At some point fans have to shake themselves out of the miserable expectations that plagued us for the better part of two decades and realize it is a new era of Bills football.
-
Eh, I don’t think that way. McD’s defense wouldn’t have been blown out by KC and Josh would have had one more game of playoff experience. Motor was coming off his most complete game as a pro also. You always want to win.

I actually and truly empathize with guys like you. I hope you find peace and comfort someday.
