Supremely horrible take. Josh was the ONLY reason the Buffalo Bills are playing next weekend. That was an unlucky play and not the result of Josh playing “hero ball” or trying to do too much.

Right. I’m sure the play is designed whereby Josh has to recognize the pressure and do certain things. To me, this is a perfect example of the synergy between Daboll and Allen, and reflects how far Josh has come in terms of reading defenses and getting his guys into the right play. The analysis is over-the-top regarding Daboll’s HC qualifications. It’s a really good play design and a great read by the QB.

I was so happy the Pegulas had fired Rex that I don’t think I really cared who they hired. The only thing I recall thinking was that I hoped they would not bring in a retread. I’m sure a part of me wanted an offensive-minded HC. McD came across as a serious, well-intentioned guy and as I read more about him I warmed to the hire. Like most of us I sort of laughed at all of the “respect the process” stuff at first, but as we’ve now seen it was a lot more than just a catch phrase. At this point in time I believe McD’s greatest qualities are that he is constantly seeking to improve, and he is genuine.

I was a season ticket holder from 1990 to 2016...despite living in North Carolina for 23 of those 26 years. It finally made no sense for me to continue and the last straw was Rex’s final year. I have been fortunate enough to have the type of success that I can make trips up to Buffalo several times a year and buy the tickets I want for games. I was at the playoff game in Houston a year ago. Don’t presume to think I don’t “care enough” to make the effort to be there. I realize you dislike me because I’m everything you’re not — loyal, likable, reasonable, and funny. You’re a dick. It pains me that jerks like you follow the team I love.

I just need to say, I am SO F***ING JEALOUS of those of you who get to attend this game. There is no way in hell I wouldn’t be there under any “normal” circumstances. Do us proud. Go Bills!

Harlan is awesome. His call of the streaker a few years ago is a classic. BBFS is a tough thing to overcome after 20 years. You can do it. Be strong.

The Colts are a good, solid football team with excellent coaching. Anyone who thinks the Bills will "roll" them is just feeling a little too high & mighty right now. If the Bills DO wind up winning a laugher I can't imagine what this board is going to look like next week (but I'd like to see it).

There were a LOT of people on this board claiming that McD would never learn, "didn't understand offense", and wanted to win games 17-13. Turns out he just needed an offense and QB he could trust.

Guys, this is pretty standard stuff. Players are always looking for ways to motivate themselves.

Yes, seriously. Saying Josh Allen still has to "prove it" that he will stay "hungry and humble" is a ridiculous statement IMO. We may agree to disagree and that's fine. Go Bills.

I'll be shocked if Beas is out there Saturday. They're taking it slow with him for the next round. McKenzie's audition was last Sunday and he passed with flying colors.

And this is what I've surmised previously when discussing Darnold. Good guy, really good QB skills, but doesn't have the internal drive to be great that Josh has in spades. Makes all the difference at this level.

Oh, enough with the "prove it" crap -- there is literally NOTHING that suggests Josh Allen wants anything other than to win and keep winning.

It is literally amazing to read that -- and know it's true.

It struck me recently that teams facing the Bills have a pretty huge dilemma. Since their bye week the Bills have had the best offense in the league, a top ten defense, and top five special teams unit. A -- what's your plan to come into Orchard Park and walk out with a W? B -- even if the team executes your plan, do you still need something "crazy" to happen? Discuss.

I posted the other day that my heart was bursting out of my chest over this team. This letter is one of the most awesome things Bills-related I’ve ever read. Win or lose this may be my favorite Bills team ever.

But then another guy said “Josh Allen and Andrew Luck are the same person. Unfortunately only one of them is playing Saturday.” That one cracked me up.

In August this was a prototypical post from a lot of fans who claim to be “realists.” I love it when obsessive pessimists who fool themselves into believing they’re analytical are proven wrong. Believe the hype. These Bills are due.

Well McKenzie’s performance on Sunday sure gave me a bit of relief if Beas isn’t ready this week. And we got Smoke back. Let Beas mend for the AFCC and SB.

They were also the #1 3rd down defense if I recall correctly. Bottom line: the Bills are on absolute fire and we need four more games of this.

It’s all good. Unless you’re a Bills fan (or have to listen to one all the time) you likely viewed Allen as a mediocre QB prior to this season. Only those who really watched the Bills saw the growth and potential, and even some of those people didn’t think he’d get much better. I’ve posted about how rare Josh is, and how necessary it was to look beyond the stats, so many times I’ve forgotten, but I don’t hold grudges against non-Bills fans who didn’t see it. Even in his rookie season look how Josh elevated those around him. Foster is an afterthought in this league now but Josh had us believing he might be a WR1! Anyway, like I said, it’s all good. I mean, prior to the first game this season the favorite comment on the Jets’ board was about the RB the Bills had playing QB. They’re quiet now.

I actually like this. A lot.
