  1. Damn Scott you made a funny!
  2. The bolded is absolutely true, but Jim offering his opinion publicly as if he has input into the Bills' offense is not helping anyone. If word of that got to Dorsey I'm pretty certain I know what his reaction was.
  3. Yeah, and when I read that the first thing that popped into my head was, "shut up, Jim."
  4. In other words -- no impact on offseason work with Josh.
  5. No, Greg. Just no. I understand why people are saying things like this, but it's not realistic. Keenum and Barkley came into the league at the same time and their comparative productivity is not even close. Keenum's career QB rating is 20 points higher than Barkley's, with a considerably larger data sample. He's just learning the offense. That's what preseason is for. Barkley will be around all year on the PS if needed in an emergency. He's Josh Allen's designated BFF -- and that's all we want him to be.
  6. Not at all. The end is the best!
  7. Well, he’ll have plenty of time to get some more neck tattoos.
  8. LOL what a silly statement. I’m “one of those posters” who believes everyone should be treated with kindness and not be subjected to a blowhard who belittles anyone who doesn’t agree with him and then goes so far as to make up stuff to defend his points and then personally attack those who stand up to him. Got it? Go Freaking Bills!!!! 20-0, babyyyyyyyyyyy!!!
  9. Hey @Royale with Cheese, see this? 🤣😂 Damn, we are in this guy’s head. So predictable.
  10. Please find any post in which I asserted this. I'll wait........................................................................................................
  11. Help me with the fuzzy math here. Crowder has a 75% chance of making the team, McKenzie "has shown a propensity to lose every job" (huh?), no mention at all of Hodgins, and that adds up to a "good" possibility Shakir is the starting slot receiver by mid-season? You made more sense when you were just leaving out pertinent quotes. I won't at all be surprised if the Bills sign OBJ once he's healthy. It makes a lot of sense going into the stretch run for this team.
  12. That's an unusual way to spell Phil. I kid. I'm sure plenty of folks around here will help you out.
  13. Pre-draft and training camp the answer would sadly have appeared to be Kumerow. Thankfully there actually IS a draft and training camp, though, where we have learned that Shakir is capable of playing on the outside and Hodgins is finally healthy and has begun to exhibit some of the promise we hoped for. In other words, the situation is not nearly as dire as some would have you believe.
  14. Nope. The starters can work on everything they need to in practice. This week's game should essentially decide the roster, then the 3rd game is to let all of the 3rd stringers and beyond put something on film.
  15. So is Tim Settle going to be a problem?
  16. Thank goodness games are only 3 hours, so @Virgil should be ok. Any player who interrupts his own introductory press conference to give a Ric Flair "WOOOOOO!" is ok in my book.
  17. Not to mention, Eli made some very off-color remarks as a teenager that he should be held accountable for.
  18. That's what these three preseason games are for. Keenum will be up to speed.
  19. It's an over-reaction. Keenum is the better QB and backup regardless of what happened last Saturday night. Barkley is an emergency QB only who is here to support Josh. Go compare Keenum's and Barkley's career stats. It's a no-brainer.
  20. Agreed...unless your RB1 really brings something "special" to the table you can't overpay. Motor needs to bring it this season and get his ring, because he will likely be on someone else's roster in 2023.
  21. No "odd" reason at all..you gave a "like" to the post criticizing the pro personnel approach to offense. I'm just calling you out for what you are...a known McD hater.
  22. Beane’s mantra is “draft, develop, retain” so he never plans to have to acquire significant contributors via free agency. FA acquisitions to Beane are to provide competition and fight for roster spots…unless it’s a star player tagged to be a difference maker (Diggs, Miller). The notion that Beane’s pro personnel department “can’t” evaluate offense is farcical — but that won’t stop guys like @ScottLaw from continuing to beat that drum. We already know Scott has hated McDermott since he was hired and anything he says about him should be taken with a huge grain of salt. The proof is right in his own words from 2017 when he called Sean “Coach McEgo” before McD’s Bills had even stepped foot on the field. Can you imagine coming off a Rex Ryan regime and calling the next coach an egomaniac? Back to OJ Howard: he’s a former 1st rounder with loads of upside, signed to a very reasonable contract. If he doesn’t work out it’s hardly disastrous. I actually like Quentin Morris.
  23. The “Cleveland against the world” take is a bit odd when it’s a matter of a team defending a serial creeper. No sympathy here. I have to believe that is not a united locker room.
  24. Well, I could be like you and trash the 3rd string OL…
  25. He’s headed to the PS for sure.
