  1. Moss never possessed the ball, so he cannot be the fumbler. No, but taking a handoff is kinda the easiest part of the job. Get your head right and come back to it.
  2. I agree though - i wanna see the flag so i can throw it into coverage and hope for the best. Since it was behind the LOS... has to be holding not illegal contact... maybe the ref only saw it as a block or something. Thats the only thing i could think of why they wouldnt call it.
  3. He did get a little pouty when fitzgerald bounced that ball up in the air for the INT though...
  4. So... https://overthecap.com/player/carson-wentz/4715/ The entire prorated bonus column would hit on day 1 if they trade or release him. So 33M right there. Option bonus kicks in on day 3 - so if you trade him... someone else could theoretically pay that. But if someone else picks that up it basically is a 2 year deal for 47.4 million (year 2 of the deal is fully guaranteed the same day they trigger the bonus) + additional years at 25 and 26 million. So you could trade for him at 4 years 94 million. But the problem is - no ones going to trade for a damaged goods QB where the first year is a 25.4 cap hit, with a fully guaranteed 2nd year at 22. So now your cap hit to trade him is 43 million... which is a cap hit that is 9 million over the current one... and the team is over the cap. Cutting him jumps it up to 59 - which is impossible to fit in. They have to pay the roster bonus, the base salary, and all the bonuses they already paid out. They need to find someone to commit to him for 2 years. I don't think anyones paying that bonus unless you're packaging a draft pick (likely a 1st or 2nd) with wentz. Cluster. F*ck.
  5. This. He cherry picks the plays that show what he wants to convey. He doesn't watch the game flow, probably doesn't for context. It's all "charts". His charts are the best charts, and everyone else is wrong. Except he put mariota as a top 3 - and will come up with 50 excuses why he failed. And none of them are that he's just wrong, and mariota didn't have it between the ears.
  6. Andy Reid is constantly evolving though. He was a west coast guy - and has evolved as it made sense to do so. He coaches to his talent.
  7. I think a lot of his issues are mental at this point. Processing time hasn't improved, and may actually be worse. His pocket presence has been terrible, seems to roll and steer himself to sacks. And his throwing platform is a mess. So basically he holds the ball too long, doesn't find open receivers, can't buy time, and can't throw remotely accurately.
  8. What do we do well? Do that. I didn't like the defensive game plan there either.
  9. He's never even getting a full head of steam it seems like. When he does he has had the drive to create some power, but when theres a mucked up zone run outside with weakside run blitzers. Buffalo's run games still very much a work in progress, and lack of continuity along the line has hindered it. They checked into quite a few passes yesterday so I think thats a start as well.
  10. The offense as it functions now doesn't run a ton of passing plays through the RBs. It's likely a practice time issue.
  11. The one 4th down toss he did a stutter step and i was going to lose it. You have the edge, just take the 2 yards and get the fresh set. Other than that, most of the runs outside it just seems like they're bottled up behind the LOS most of the time. Backside run blitzes are preventing cutbacks etc. Speed isn't that important in rushing, its more about burst. Speed gives you home runs, but burst and blocking gives you consistency.
  12. They were missing ford and bosa in a game like this. Same in those games against Seattle and Green bay. Rushing the QB is one thing, but rush discipline is another. Allen was maneuvering all night into open spaces and buying time. He broke contain to the sidelines multiple times as well.
  13. People tend to follow shifting lines.
  14. There were plenty of throws short of the sticks. Diggs averaged 9.2 yards per catch. Few targets for RBs. A shovel pass!
  15. Yeah, he was fully prepared for that ball to go to Beasely and he was ready to make a tackle before the sticks, and it just went right over his head.
  16. I think they realize too that they're just going to have to score. Running would be great, but you only get the ball so many times, and you need to score.
  17. I do think buffalo has given up a considerable amount of garbage time points (and yards). Jets week 1 when down 17 scored a TD with 30 seconds left. Raiders down 14 scored with under 2 minutes left (huge PI on that drive). Didn't get onside kick. Seattle scored down 17 with under 2 minutes left. 49ers obviously. Chargers didn't score but added like 80 yards to their team total in teh last minute down 10.
  18. They're a bit like buffalo in that they flipped from being a run first play defense team to a top 10 offense. But while buffalos defense seems to have improved in recent weeks, the titans may have somehow gotten worse. No pass rush at all, still a historically bad 3rd down defense. Their offense is legit, and they won't turn it over 3 times very often (like they did against cleveland). A cleaner game against tennessee would be a great game either way - I do think our Bills would want to prove that they're capable of beating them.
  19. I'm sure we have a backup plan for kicker, but that was so a 15 yard penalty to me. 54 yarder - 15 is a 39 yarder. Even if Carpenter couldn't get back out there I'd feel better about a punter having to make an attempt from 39.
  20. It was carpenter. Right before half - he jumped Offside on the FG attempt. And ran him over. They called Offside but no unneccesary roughness for some reason. Buffalo had to snap it and spike it, since carpenter was hurt on the play. He then missed the FG.
  21. He's not human...
  22. The intention of downing it in the endzone. Then kneel dude... thats such an absolute garbage call. Mental lapses in like 99% of situations will come back to bite you, but for some reason they got a pass.
  23. I mean - the patriots had 2 ST TDs in that one in the first half. They basically just ran the ball the rest of the game - 23 total pass plays and i imagine many of them being quick hitters. Not exactly a game bosa can influence quite as much.
  24. They did make plays in the red zone though I'd give them that. But 400 something yards is a lot. And it felt like between the 20s they were moving the ball at will.
  25. Let me guess - they're white QBs who run.
