  1. I'm not sure, I'm taking it to the extreme, tbh. I do know he wanted the Buffalo job and nobody even called him. Which I find to be hilarious. Poor guy.
  2. lol, this guy just sits around and waits for someone to take interest, and nobody calls him.
  3. I think that Kelsay is a bigger presence than most believe. He probably sniffs the QB more than anyone on the team, lol. No but really, I think the original plan was to have Kelsay and Merriman force things into the middle, where our actual talent was. Problem is, the whole front seven is just riddled with injuries.
  4. These posts are crazy and unnecessary. Chan Gailey is the first effective coach we've had since Marv Levy. This team has extremely thin talent right now. It's not necessarily Nix' fault either- a lot of his draft picks are injured as well. And as was stated before, FA is a wash. The team is a crap chute until they can get lucky and win enough to make themselves attractive.
  5. lol. As you were saying this I was thinking of my Kindle Fire that I have to carry around in my hand if I want to take it anywhere. I feel enlightened.
  6. I mean seriously. Why is Stevie so into them? The article on BB.com has pics of him sitting back playing Madden 12 with his book bag on. He ALWAYS has it with him. He has it with him in NFL Network interviews and at just about every public appearance.
  7. Possibly. But I'm not off the Chan wagon yet. I truly believe he's doing what he can in most situations. He himself admitted that it's incredibly difficult to commit to the run when you're down so quickly. I feel as if he's doing his best to say "nothing is really going to work, but we might as well throw to try to close the gap" without throwing his defense under the bus.
  8. lolololol. Yeah, because our offense was so much better when we had that Falcon's OC's scheme.
  9. The link in your signature doesn't work...Is there any info I need from the site, or a map?
  10. OK, so this is gonna sound a little bit silly I know. I'm 25 and I've gone to Bills games since 1998. Watched the games since I was old enough to understand what was going on. Every time I've ever gone to a game, I've walked straight through the lots and into the stadium and never really "tailgated." So this Sunday I'm driving back home for the weekend and makin' the drive to Buffalo to see the 'Phins game, and I'll have my girl with me. I want to start her off right and do the whole tradition. My question is, who has good tailgating? Where to go? What to bring?
  11. I agree that this is good news. However, I'm tempering my enthusiasm at this point for one reason: he is essentially Brad Smith- he's about ten pounds heavier but the same speed. As a fourth round pick, is he better at route-running/catching the ball? If not, I don't see how he's an upgrade over what we have now. I think he's a great addition, but after looking at his size, he's just not as big as I thought...Any thoughts about this?
  12. Ah you beat me to it... I already had all three posts multi-quoted and ready to go!
  13. Well, even though he's cheap, at least he's the raciest guy in town.
  14. The games aren't THAT short...Pretty short though- like 45 minutes.
  15. If they let Stevie walk and don't make immediate efforts to get both a draft pick and a FA to be #1 and #2 guys I will be tuning out after the first trainwreck loss to a mediocre team. I can't deal with it anymore. They have PLENTY OF MONEY to keep their talent and that was APPARENTLY the goal of Nix. Even if they did go out and get two good receivers it's still stupid because Stevie is the only one Fitz is ever on the same page with on the deep ball. Ever notice how he rarely misses on deep balls to Johnson like he does to everyone else?
  16. Your argument is compelling... Granted, I suppose very few here have said DON'T take a franchise guy if he's there. Even Chan and Buddy said that last year. I doubt that view has changed, however, Chan said otherwise because it's not likely that franchise guy will be there. And, even still, you don't want to keep setting your team back (that can be bad for your rookie too- not many can bring a team from the ashes like Manning did), so you want to make sure he's sitting behind a guy like Fitzpatrick, and you eliminate the need to score 30 PPG.
  17. This is a really well thought-out post. It's not fully pro-Fitzpatrick, but it's certainly not ignorant proclamation that a QB will solve all our problems- it's simply reasonable, and true. The options last year really weren't there. Not drafting a QB was smart last year because you're right: those QBs besides Newton will turn out to be just about Fitzpatrick-level. This year it still may not be a good option if the top-notch QBs are gone and we reach for mid-tier talent (essentially another Fitzpatrick). We learned that we NEED to continue to bolster our 3-4 defensive project and reduce the drops and confusion on offense. We'll have to wait and see, but I can tell you one thing- we'll be much better next year if all we have are depth, a DC, and a pass rusher.
  18. So wait, it costs more to go run 13 miles than it does to watch the Bills?
  19. He'd be worse than Trent or JP if he played for us 3 years ago. Yes. We'd hate him, and the Wood Levitre Hangman Sanchez jokes would be out of control.
