The entire British Invasion and American rock and roll in general was "ripping off" old blues artists. The good ones started with the old blues riffs and updated the genre to make it their own (Eric Clapton, Led Zep, etc) I personally love the Beach Boys 'Holland' album. I had a great respect for Levon Helm of The Band, who threatened to walk away when producers were going to cut Muddy Waters out of 'The Last Waltz' and leave NEIL DIAMOND in! Muddy Waters and his peers were the foundation of The Band; a sound perfected with Ronnie Hawkins and Bob Dylan. MY Most Over Rated Band - The Bee Gees !

I cannot look past 9/12/2010. I have no expectations anymore, after having expectations dashed every year since 1967. That said, I will be there at the Ralph for the opener, and I will watch and cheer for the Bills every week all season long. I am bringing some Dolphin fabric to start the grill fire. Right now I only hope they start the season 1-0.

Puerto Vallarta, MX would be a nice "snow-bird" location. It would be nice to be living most of the year closer to my kids, though. They are really cool people! I HATE New York taxes. Government in general has been given way too much authority to simply raise taxes instead of budgeting money already in hand, like we have to do! We can only blame ourselves for letting them DO it.

I think that exhaustive media coverage of everything (big and small) has numbed many people's emotions to what others have experienced. It can become difficult to absorb it all. Turn off your television or PC. Step away from the media machines. Take a walk, and do someone who needs help a favor. You will feel better.

Gee, I asked for TWO free tickets to the Indy game on New Year's Eve last season, if anyone was not going to the Ice Bowl, and no one complained. I used Trading Post, not the Stadium Wall, if that is what you meant by the right place. There was no 'begging' by the poster you jumped on, BTW.

That should teach you not to start a thread and walk away! The baby's Mom is a loser, and she would be a loser if there was no pot. She would just find another way to dull her senses and neglect her baby. Some people are barely human, sadly. I hope they find a better place for this child to be raised. Without getting into a big political debate, I do not smoke pot (now) and I resent not having the simple freedom of planting some weed in my garden for occasional responsible personal use.
