  1. It says you have 17 posts! Steeler fans are such liars! Happy Birthday, Rich. You have a very thoughtful wife (now what did she BUY you).
  2. I know, I know, there is always someone looking for money. This time it is me. The MS Walk in Rochester is May 7, 2006. In past three years The Stadium Wall has sponsored me with over $1600 in donations. If you are able, please continue the tradition! If you want you can pledge on line or send me an e-mail to get my snail mail address so you can send a check made out to the National MS Society, or you can get your own sponsors and do the walk in your area! Rockpile's MS Page I will periodically bump this up, but will try not to be too annoying about it. I was diagnosed with relapsing/remitting MS in 1994. That means my symptoms come and go. Those of you who have met me may be surprised, since the symptoms are often not real obvious. Everyone with MS is affected differently. I am one of the LUCKY ones. So, if you saw me lose my balance at a tailgate, it could have been the MS or it could have been the beer. If anyone wants more details or has questions, send me a PM, e-mail me, or just discuss MS here. I am especially interested if any other Wallers have MS or know someone who does. It is MY LAMP after all.
  3. No, it was Nate Clements on deep coverage. Congrats, Nick (and Mrs Nick). Wow, my grandson turned 7 on Saturday.
  4. [AP] Country music outlaw Willie Nelson sang "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" and "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" more than 25 years ago. He released a very different sort of cowboy anthem this Valentine's Day. "Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly (Fond of Each Other)" may be the first gay cowboy song by a major recording artist. But it was written long before this year's Oscar-nominated "Brokeback Mountain" made gay cowboys a hot topic. Available exclusively through iTunes, the song features choppy Tex-Mex style guitar runs and Nelson's deadpan delivery of lines like, "What did you think all them saddles and boots was about?" and "Inside every cowboy there's a lady who'd love to slip out." The song, which debuted Tuesday on Howard Stern's satellite radio show, was written by Texas-born singer-songwriter Ned Sublette in 1981. Sublette said he wrote it during the "Urban Cowboy" craze and always imagined Nelson singing it. Someone passed a copy of the song to Nelson back in the late 1980s and, according to Nelson's record label, Lost Highway, he recorded it last year at his Pedernales studio in Texas.
  5. 6. The 2005 Bills offense really lacked in quality and control
  6. I just like beer. I am not a mass consumer - steve's intake would knock me out - but I will drink snob beer and I will also drink the low carb, light, and even some skunky stuff. I Love Brooklyn Lager - fresh draft. I love Mexican beer (esp Negra Modelo Dark Beer), Sam Adams, Saranac, Guiness - just.... BEER! I will go to "Beers of the World" and fill a case of misc beers like Old Scratch, or Three Stooges. I am a bit pickier when it comes to wine, but again I enjoy the 3 for $10 specials, the South American Cab-Sav, LOVE the Australian brands. I am a bit snobbish on the cheap wines that come in a gallon jug though. Great cheap screwtop wine - Bulletin.
  7. What is your favorite hot pocket.
  8. Do you sniff the cap first, Beersnob?
  9. OK, BE rational. Are you trying to get banned? It is time for Al Davis to sit his boney ass down and let his coaches coach. I do not like the Raiders but have a lot of respect for Art Shell.
  10. Babyrock (daughter) is a teacher. I called her the other night and she was working on a project for the next day at school. Oh yeah, this was shortly after 9PM. After putting 4 kids through the "system" I have met great teachers and terrible teachers. Why do you single out teachers for your anger? Just curious.
  11. BEST choice was in the Polka Category: Shake, Rattle And Polka! by Jimmy Sturr And His Orchestra Goes well with a nice dinner of Bratwust and Kraut.
  12. Me too. When I was sold from one company to another, I lost 2 weeks vacation a year. Went from 5 weeks a year to three. I never used to call in sick, but I do now! I also did not need personal days before. Now if I have a doctor appointment, I have to keep track of the hours. I have a paycheck, so I really cannot complain too much!
  13. After 26 years, does sh-- petrify ? HB Steve. Nice meeting you at the tailgate last fall.
  14. Actually I found it: Letterman and Big Ben
  15. Dr John is white and played piano on the national anthem; he was in the right place, but it must have been the wrong time.
  16. Many years back, Prince did Purple Rain live at the Grammies and it was one of the BEST televised live guitar performances I have ever seen. Over the years he has put out a lot of really average crap. That is disappointing because he could be consistently great.
  17. I agree 100%, Pooj ! I was looking forward to hearing him sing. It's not like he could play like "Duke Elegant" on the keyboards, given the song.
  18. I do not think I can afford the rent!
  19. Sorry, can't make it. I am going to be with my son who is closing on his first house, and moving out of mine.
  20. 1. me either 2. Hi, Dianne!
  21. Maybe if they show games on NFL Network and the games are PPV, one of the incentves would be a STFU button for the commentators.
