Garcia used to jam with NRPS and played some on their 1st album. The concert I mentioned was to promote the release of the New Riders' and Commander Cody's debut albums. We were hoping that somewhere Jerry would sneak on stage but no such luck. Yes, I guess am an old fart from some perspectives; just in the early part of my second half century on this planet in my eyes. (click on my name to see my picture and tell me I am old!) NRPS will be performing at the Lilac Festival in Rochester May 14th. They still have some of the original members, and I would really like to see them again to see if they still "have it". One of the first Cosmic Country bands. I last saw them in 1971 on a shared bill with Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen at UB. I think most of it is just that it is the off season. It is exacerbated by the fact that the Bills had a terrible season, after there was so much hope last September. I think Carm is going to become more of an active "background" partner to Tony. She has accepted (admitted to herself) what Tony's real profession is. He will hopefully see that she is the ONLY one who has always been there for him, if he lets her. She has discovered some very important information about the "mob" family. Warning her husband is a given - she cares about HER family first. I was glad to see the season start to turn directions, with Tony apparently on the mend. I can only take so many dream episodes! Look for BIG changes. I think AJ's stupid movie idea would be a great commercial success. Have you read the movie listings lately?
