  1. Do you have cable and watch any games on ESPN?
  2. Ha- ha! That's a GOOD one!
  3. I really do not mind the current SB schedule, and like you I am EST. When the kids were younger we hosted the party, or partied at a neighbor's to make it easier. Even now, the kids are grown, and we are having a few friends over and staying home.
  4. No, I say move it to the Sunday before President's Day, I have that day off paid. I have to work on MLK's birthday, and after all Guff, it is all about me.
  5. Can you PM me the name of your pharmacist? You are feeling way too good.
  6. I am not criticizing you, Joe. I do not get on the ra-ra pulpit seven days a week, neither do I join the we suck parade. Look at my avatar, it's making fun of Ralph as he began a speech when he was not even sure what DAY it was. I really have nothing I can say to you to make things better. I'll bet we share a pitcher at Danny's in September, though!
  7. Which sucks for anyone who does not want to pony up to MORE pay TV.
  8. I am with you, bro. Some days it hurts to come here! Maybe it epitomizes what Bills fans SHOULD be. Thirteen years has changed a lot of things. That is why I tried to point out something positive from an otherwise humiliating game. Hell, I still wear Bills stuff to work, but I am about the only one! The funniest thing is that some of these bastids would be the FIRST to jump back on the wagon to cheer for the same people they tossed under the bus.
  9. I am always optimistic, although my level of expectations is lower after last year's abomination. I can only hope the people with more than just a view from the couch are making good decisions.
  10. Super Bowl XXVII - Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. This was a game between Buffalo and Dallas that produced a lot of "firsts": The Bills - 1st team to lose three consecutive Super Bowls. Emmett Smith - 1st player to win the rushing title and the Super Bowl. Jimmy Johnson - 1st coach to win both a national college and NFLchampionship. This was the first Super Bowl to have 69 points scored. OK, Enough firsts! The Cowboys crushed the Bills 52-17! The only positive memory I have from this game, happened in the fourth quarter, with the Bills already trailing by five touchdowns. Frank Reich was sacked on a 4th and 5 play, and stripped of the ball by Jeffcoat. Leon Lett picked up the ball and ran for what he was sure would be another easy touchdown. He did not count on Don Beebe chasing him down and slapping the ball out of his hands at the Bills one yard line after a 64 yard return! The ball went out of the end zone; Buffalo took possession at the twenty yard line with under five minutes left in the game. Don Beebe's display of heart, even though it meant NOTHING to the outcome of the game, epitomizes the soul of the Bills and their fans.
  11. They would be Shriners.
  12. It was not called the Super Bowl. It was not a sellout.
  13. Where is Soprano? We need an inside source!
  14. I wonder how many of us there are here? I enjoy having a couple nights a month that are ALL MINE, as well as opportunities to help out with charitable work. I was scheduled to work the Have a Heart booth for our local Ronald McDonald House, at GreeceRidge Mall Sunday Feruary 5th, until I saw it was Super Bowl Sunday! They moved me to Monday night. Charity only goes SO far.
  15. You should look into it, you already have the tux.
  16. From the link provided: Most common job (salaried) Store Department Manager $46,741 Most common job (hourly) Customer Service $26,047 7% job growth (1 year)
  17. I know a few people making their careers at Wegman's and raising families. I do not know what they make but they seem comfortable. My son worked there 8 years and for 6 years got $1500 a year extra in college scholarships, as well as benefits. A lot of parents work there part-time days so they are home when the kids are home. They do have many more jobs than just cashier and "cleanup on aisle 7".
  18. Yes, I only became one about 5 years ago.
  19. I usually get the R. Rich Special - red hot and cheeseburger.
  20. I am not in his schitt. He can say whatever he wants. I just prefer ignorance to at LEAST be diverse or funny. Reading the reports from his source(s) is kinda like living Ground Hog's Day.
  21. If you buy the next plate, I MIGHT forgive you for that insensitive remark.
  22. About one hour, I stop in before work, during lunch, and a few peeks during the "work day". Avg 3.19 posts per day per my profile.
  23. ... and young enough to work in the front office at One Bills Drive.
