    Do you think there has ever been as many "starting caliber QB free agents as LB's"?

    Can anyone remember an example of just staying the course has worked? Has there been a QB and Head Coach combo that has had the same or less success than Fitz and Gailey together, the GM let them stay the course, and then they went on to be successful?

    I would have preferred we drafted Brady. Or maybe drated up to get Luck or RG3. I wish we have signed Brees when he was a free agent. What's the point?

    Why do you think just because he's the Assistant GM he has absolutely no input? You do know he works for us and has a job to do right? How in the world do any of you know that he's not part of the problem or in line with all the decisions his boss has made? I'm not saying he has agreed, but you don't know he doesn't. Hate to tell you guys this but Nix has done a good job!

    Tom Brady is the greatest QB I've ever seen. Rex has a reputation for great defenses and can't even compete. Also shows how great the Giants played.

    I guess I'm in the minority but 6-4, an up and down Fitz, and a top 15 defense just doesn't make me satisfied enough.

    Yeah they should probably lock up Hernandez long term, oh yeah they did that. They should go out and sign a veteran TE, oh yeah they did that too.

    Why aren't you asking who is making the decisions for the other 30 teams? Based on what you're saying we should be emulating the Chargers talent evaluation system since they are the ones that saw Alexander as a super star.

    Yeah our owner is greedy, unlike other business owners that don't care if they make money. How the hell do you know what happens with the team when Ralph passes? I guess cause you don't you'll just guess it's cause he's counting nickels?

    The dumbest part is Kelsay doesn't really have an history for being injured.

    Ran into a phins fan at the grocery store here in Charlotte about an hour ago. He sees my Bills shirt and says "we are going to kill you guys tonight". I said you very well might but we're going to take it to that a$$ tomorrow.

    I too believe that the "very big if " is "a real possibility". And I also agree that "It would be awesome this time in the first wild card round of playoffs."

    Yeah I heard that too and rewound to listen again. I think he was just saying he's heard from the Bills, so I don't think anything new.

    So is the "Fitz is good enough - our defense needs to stop Tom Brady argument". Listen to yourself, you're saying it. It's Tom freaking Brady, he beats defenses, all of them, not just ours. To beat them he has to retire or we have to try and find a good enough QB to go up against that caliber of QB.

    I get that, but you can't keep using the argument that we score enough to win, when your QB throws a last possesion interception. That's on him.

    I by in large agree with the OP with one exception. Spiller is in the game (when it's his series turn) on 3rd and short. It happened a couple of times last game and the one prior. I think they've got to bring Jackson in to either give it to him or play action. The worst scenario is what they're doing, leaving Spiller in and worse giving him the ball.

    " In 4 of our losses this year, we scored 28, 28, 34 and 31 points." Yet somehow their QB was able to score more. Why can't ours? Brady's defense gave up 31 points, but they still won.
