  1. I have lived in Charlotte NC for the past 15 years, but Buffalo will always be home. Hard to believe I've been here this long and it still feels like a place I live and not home. I have 5 and 7 year old boys that were obviously born in Charlotte, but they share my passion for Buffalo sports. It's the greatest thing in the world. They love the Sabres and Bills so much that they think they are from Buffalo too. The wife and I haven't had the heart to tell them. But the point is that the connection is not only between the team and the fan, but it's a family thing.
  2. I understand your argument but I wouldn't make this a rule when drafting. Drafting purely based on results and being on the best team would be just as dangerous as drafting only on potential. You have to consider everything.
  3. I think you're the only one that knows how you feel.
  4. We won't keep Chandler. Buddy stating "only at the right price". I personally think it's foolish to let him go just because he'll command $1.5 more per year on the open market.
  5. Very good question. It's a hard question to answer when you're trying to define it. But it's an easy question at the same time, because if you have one you know it, if you don't you know it too.
  6. Why would you root for a team you think has absolutely no chance of drafting well? Especially knowing that the draft is the primary source of us having an opportunity at top end talent? I just couldn't dumb myself down far enough to do that.
  7. How can you say it's insane to use a 1st round pick on a RB, but wouldn't trade a RB for a 1st round pick?
  8. As one of the posters below the article mentioned. This could mean they can't resign Stephen Tulloch. I'd like us to give him a serious look.
  9. There you go again. I never said Stevie drops a lot of passes, so making generalizations is BS. I don't think that the majority of the folks on this board have claimed he is among the league leaders in drops so get rid of him, so this post is a rant to the few and is boring.
  10. These posts are less than useless. If you want to rant do it somewhere else and don't bore the rest of us with these generalized accusations.
  11. It's not like Atlanta had a terrible offensive year. They were 17th in rushing, but 8th in passing and 10th in yards per game. They were also 7th in total scoring and 7th in touchdowns.
  12. Your use of "only" is racist, purely by being false. Why do we consider it progress when a person of a certain race is hired as a head coach? Is the same consideration being made for players? Shouldn't there be a drive to have as many white players as the other races?
  13. I'd like to see this. Unfortunately I don't think either will be there.
  14. Every team that doesn't have a QB like Manning, is a Manning away from being able to win it.
  15. I hate that we run screens and those 3 yard slants on the 10 yard line.
  16. I didn't make my point clear enough. I don't think that a great receiver should average 100 yards per game, 6 catches per game, and 10 TD's per year. I just think that in order to be great these marks have to be hit at a higher rate than Lee ever did.
  17. If this trade could be a reality, I would think it would mean no Stevie. I can't imagine this team locking up 17-18 million on WR's.
  18. Lee Evans wasn't a "great" pro WR for multiple years. He had a couple real good years and one great year. My criteria for a great WR is one that gets at 6 receptions per game, over 100 yards, and has over 10 TD's in a year. Evans stats: Year / Over 6 receptions/game /over 100 yds /10+ TD's 2004 / 2 / 2 / 0 2005 / 0 / 2 / 0 2006 / 6 / 3 / 0 2007 / 2 / 2 / 0 2008 / 3 / 4 / 0 2009 / 0 / 0 / 0 2010 / 1 / 1 / 0
  19. I agree with K-9 I don't want to attack you for this suggestion posed. I just don't think Lee Evans is very good, and for that reason alone I don't see a benefit to bringing him back. On the other hand I think Lee would gladly take any opportunity because I think his options going forward are going to be very limited.
  20. You don't think we concentrate on running the ball? We are 4th in the NFL in yards, 6Th in yds/carry, and 9th in attempts.
