  1. You're not exactly drinking the cool aid.
  2. Are you kidding me? That's a big stretch my friend. There's a lot of things to dislike about this team and this year, but he isn't one.
  3. Not really. It's got you posting about it. It got a topic started about it on a Buffalo Bills blog site. All because the players are wearing pink. So maybe just maybe someone will talk about it with their wife/girlfriend, they will go get an exam, and catch the cancer sooner than later.
  4. I think it's the only thing at this point that could, could give this team a spark. A new QB that plays good to give the rest of the team hope.
  5. You're so fair and balanced. Haha, I got it.
  6. Do you think Gailey's offense is intricate? I've never been a coach so I'm not privy to watching the game from that point of view, but compared to other offenses I watch from a fans point of view it seems simplistic. I'm fully aware that all NFL offenses are difficult so I'm not being smart. I see a lot of the same plays and routes, and it doesn't appear to be terribly inventive. There's not a lot of different offensive line movement, creative calls, or even trick plays (unless you count wildcat). Some very respectable people have said that Gailey is an offensive guru/genious but I just don't get that feeling about our offense. I'm curious for comments from what you guys know/see.
  7. Why does this opinion mean "Buddy has to be thinking about it"?
  8. Another Pats fan?
  9. Johnny Cakes (Soprano's)
  10. This is rather unfair. It's no secret how Jim was during or near his playing days. I also think it's been well documented/confirmed how much better of a person/man he has become.
  11. You think there will be time when there's 5 TE's on the field for them?
  12. I can't believe you would even respond to someone with under 100 posts.
  13. How did you bipass having to go through 100 posts? What's an acceptable amount of posts for you to take an OP seriously?
  14. Shouldn't laugh at your own jokes.
  15. I would bet the Jets coaching staff told their troubled offensive line to take advantage of refs that won't catch every call. If they did it was actually very smart. Smart coaches always seem to one up the others.
  16. It's so comical when a fan actually thinks they are smarter than an NFL coach. Not to say they never make mistakes but to question them based on your own evaluation of what they should do is absolutely ridiculous. I know I'll get the responses "this is what a blog is for, if you don't like it don't come here". Well that's not it, we come here to express our opinion. Our opinions are usually based on small tidbits of information or from our untrained eyes. Opinions are the cornerstone of what we do here and that's what makes this fun. But it's when the fan gets belligerent and thinks his OPINION is fact, is when it gets silly to me.
  17. He was released from Washington because he wants to be a starter. What makes you think we will convince him to be our backup? The guy said "“I’ll take some time and make sure what I do in the future is exactly what I want to do,”. So you think after that process he's going to say "I know what I want to do, instead of backing up Fred Davis for the organization I love playing for but I'm leaving because I want to start, I want to back up Scott Chandler"?
  18. You want our starting QB to come from the waiver wire or what you would call the "wavier" wire? Then you suggest to look for a young QB with starting potential on another team? Yeah that shouldn't be too difficult. "The next Matt Flynn" would be a guy that lost his job to a 5' 10" rookie and cost the franchise $10 million this year. You think Washington is going to trade their rookie draft pick now, before he shows what he can do and they can get more? Not only are you a booger, but you're that one you know is there but just can't reach.
  19. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  20. Who's "the brass" and who's "the team"?
  21. No, don't like any of those either.
  22. Fendi was getting blown up on the line in the first game. I can't say I payed attention to him in the second. He better have extemely strong receiving skills to make this team, they like TE's that can block.
  23. I'm not bashing Fitz here but he didn't have the second most rushing yards in 2010. Vick, Rodgers, Freeman, and Garrard had more so he was 5th. 269 yards isn't exactly a scrambling QB. Vince Young eclipsed that number 3 out of 6 years with 2 of them in his first 2 years in the league playing 15 games. He's played in 30 games the last 4 seasons and out rushed Fitz in one of those years. Fitz has enough arm to play in the league, but plenty means more than enough. He doesn't have more than enough. It is close between Young and Fitz. Young is a not very bright but loaded with physical talent. Obviously Fitz has the brains, but isn't very physically gifted. They both have something to offer but neither have enough to be great.
