Ok I got your thought now but you lose me on the comparisons of Engram and Julio - then the comparison on how the Pats tried to defend Julio vs how they would defend a TE. I guess we'll just try and agree that adding weapons would obviously be helpful.

No one has anything for Julio Jones and I'm not sure what that has to do with drafting a TE.

You cut a player if he's not worth the money you're paying him or if you have a cheaper replacement that plays at a similar level. He's missed very little time over his total career and when he's not in there's a clear drop off as we clearly experienced in 2015. Someone is going to have to convince me Washington is there before I'm comfortable cutting Kyle. I also think in a traditional 4-3 Kyle is at his best.

Watson doesn't look 6'3" to me but I could definitely be wrong.

I think it's going to cost some money to get him. I'd say in the 3 years 16 mi range or a 1 year 4-5 mil where he'll want to prove himself to get one more contract.

He's not coming for depth money

I don't really care what they do at QB. We just need to get lucky and have whatever they do work. I'm just sick of us not getting lucky.

His footwork is terrible.

Yeah I think this is right. Didn't games end around 3:30-3:45? Now there's a lot of 4:15 start times along with games running into the 4:00 starts.

I just don't think they'd be interested in anything other than a pure passer. Not that they wouldn't want someone mobile but it would have to be someone that uses their mobility to pass. Can Watson do that? Maybe. I just don't see them being the team to find out and especially at pick 10.

Footwork, IMO, is one of the most ambiguous evaluations of QB's.

Whaley just will not think outside the box to find a TE.
