  1. The perfect game. It exorcised so many daemons. The 31-0 beating of Tom Brady in the season opener several seasons ago was very satisfying..
  2. Besides the perfect game, the one play that stunned everyone in that game was Micah Hyde swooping in out of nowhere to ***** a INT on a sure TD pass that would have tied the game. That INT was unbelievable as the closing speed was out of the world. One of the most brilliant play in Bills history
  3. And he has a close to $30M cap hit against Diggs for this season,
  4. On the defense, it all comes down to the pass rush. If you cannot get the QB down in the playoffs, you will have an early exit.
  5. Steve Young. It is all about winning that one RING. Go Bills !
  6. aren't the rookies and UDFA reporting in this week to camp?
  7. agreed we need Bills discussion. Go Bills !
  8. Dan Snyder paid $800M for the team as well as the football stadium in 1999 and then coverted that into a gold mine before selling it for $6B.
  9. I am in the same boat too... Reference to Steve Young in the original article... Allens needs his own Monkey off the back moment
  10. Allen's TEAM has been an enigma. Diggs has disappeared in the playoffs. Gabe was not consistent. Knox disappeared in the playoffs. The Whole defense was soft in the playoffs. Coaching was absurd!
  11. Rookies report to camp next week and TC starts in 12 days. Go Bills !
  12. I hope the regular season finale is NOT a TIE 🙂 Go Bills !
  13. Big Ben. The guy was under-rated and not given the same credit as the Manning brothers or Brady; and yet he disposed them in the playoffs. He could make all the throws including the insane ones running to the left or right evading defenders.. He was a Josh Allen replica and I enjoyed watching the Steelers win the Superbowl during those days when our season ended in December. Go Bills!
  14. The Odds makers also think the same. They have the Bills pegged in between 5th to 7th to lead in many categories including SB appearance in 2024. And many of those teams in the top 7 are close to each other that a few balls spinning your way could be our ticket to winning the Lombardi. The Bills have their own weakness just like any of those top 7 teams and will compete not only in the division but also in the conference and in the NFL.
  15. But..But...He does not have the size of an NFL Prototype Receiver and never will have the speed of some of those Divas...... Shakir will continue to prove people wrong as he continues his growth. Barring injury, he will be a primary target of Josh Allen. Go Bills !
  16. and yet their HC Daboll won the coach of the years honor.
  17. The biggest difference for McDermott will be to have his DL show up in the playoffs. If they make a few plays here and there and we are probably calling ourselves SB champions in these 5 years. Mahomes is something like 75% completion in Playoffs against the Bills with 8 TDs to zero turnovers and the same Mahomes was pedestrian against other Playoff teams or even against the Bills in regular season. That is the only "If" I would want to see change.
  18. Hyde and Poyer have been washed up the last few years. They have been slow and the NFL is all about speed. If anything McDermott (or rather Beane) should have Simmons on their speed dial.
  19. When the MVP voting happened, the only other player to get a 1st place vote was Josh Allen and it was not Mahomes. Mahomes was ok during the season and stepped up during the playoffs taking his team to yet another SuperBowl win.
  20. as several have pointed out, there are multiple folks who would like to prove it wrong Miller, Bass, Elam, Epenesa. There are others questioning if Milano can come back from his gruesome injury ? Our WRs are marked as not capable of being #1? Can one of them raise above everyone and get that volume of targets ?
  21. I don't think anyone will fret over Coleman if Samuel and MVS are ahead of him in training camp. This WR group could be quite deep.
  22. and then bailed him out with his drops. Parrish didn't have a good QB to throw to (just like Evans)
  23. It can become less important if our front seven can generate enough pass rush. Of course, McDermott defense is based on keeping everything in front of them (on the backside) and we are likely to give up a lot of yardage but may toughen when they are in the Red Zone
  24. Disagree. With Dorsey, we will try to chuck the ball downfield for chunk plays with higher risks and failed, Brady adjusted to a more dink-and-dunk offense and reduced the turnovers and ran the ball more. It became a balanced offense and he spread the ball and thus negating Diggs long catches that were part of the 1st half of the season.
  25. Will any of the WRs emerge as a true #1 Will Bass be kicking for his job Will Milano come back from injury to his all-pro level Who will be our CB2 Will someone show pass rushing skills that will be meaningful in the playoffs Who will be our starting safeties, a question asked after 7 years of Hyde and Poyer So many exciting battles to be won. Can't wait for TC to kick off
