The difference is Purdy wins games...while Tua not so much. At the end, it is the W-L record that counts.

Today is Perception...When Season is over then that is reality Douglas, Benford, Johnson and Rapp ahve been outstanding in the past five games. They have to figure out a way to sign Douglas and Benford.

TNF 🏈 Steelers vs Browns - 8:15pm ET on Prime Video
ganesh replied to DaBillsFanSince1973's topic in The Stadium Wall
That would be an awesome resume.... Beating Ravens, Steelers and possibly the Chiefs and Bengals. The Bills need to take care of their business...as they play three tough teams and two of them on the road, one in the West Coast and the other in a dome against the most dominating offense in the NFL this season. -
and that is not a long shot as some of the folks on this thread have chimed. Go Bills !!! The 6-3 game keeps coming to wind...

The steelers are just squeezing buy against these bad teams -
Didn't we also lose Rapp due to a chest injury

Not a chance.

The Bills are really around 15th against the Run, 18th against the Pass. That would be awesome...Zach Thomas is a HOF

That only gets you the 4th seed at the worst. What are the two losses. 49ers are not playing well adn will be on the road at Buffalo Bills at Rams... could be a tough game for the Bills Bills at Detroit...could be a tough game for the Bills Home to the Patriots @Buffalo Home to the Jets. @Buffalo Road game at Patriots - Tough divisional game...but the talents are not evenly matched

College schemes are very simple...hence hard to evaluate QBs if they have "It" unless they have played in a pro-style offense like in LSU (Burrows, Tua etc). Josh was hard to evaluate because he was a 1-read guy at Wyoming. There will be QBs with the "It" factor but may be having a noodle arm like Trent Edwards...Translating them into NFL players is also very hard...except for exceptions like Purdy, Brady etc.

Terrance Gray a candidate for Jets GM job?
ganesh replied to vtnatefootball11's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. Daboll and McDermott don't get along. I can see Stefanski taking up the job. He will have a franchise QB to bolster back his resume for a chance at a HC job -
Head Coaching Vacancies - 2024/2025 Edition
ganesh replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Brady leaves, i think there will be some good coaches available for OC..including Stefanski from the Browns -
The 3rd and 18 completion by Desean Watson in the playoffs was enough to show that Edmunds was an average Linebacker.

The Bills have never been conservative on Offense because they have Josh Allen. In fact, that aggression cost them the Houston game. The Bills have been conservative in the plays on DEFENSE, especially in the playoffs. Their inability to get off the field on 3rd and long in the playoffs has cost them a chance to get to the SuperBowl. That has to be fixed this year.

Congratulations TB...You made game changing plays that helped beat the SuperBowl Champs. Go Bills !!!

Why is McD not being talked about as coach of the year?
ganesh replied to Antonio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Weren't the same pundits, who will be voting the COTY, argued at the beginning of the season that the Bills will be bad (even miss the playoffs as the 3rd best team in the AFC East). They should not take into account the job McDermott has done to take this 'bad' team and significantly overachieve to be the AFC East division champs once again in regular season. -

And is there any season where Beane has been considered for GM of the Year? Especially considering where we have been picking the last six years. Again a Buffalo Bias? -

The Lions are pummeling everyone in the NFC. Their HC should be in consideration for Coach of the Year The Bills are a surprising 9-2 with a significant win against the then unbeaten Chiefs. Sean McDermott should be in consideration for Coach of the Year The Commanders while they have lost the last two games have put on a great show turning that franchise around and a Franchise QB to boot. Dan Quinn should be in consideration for Coach of the Year Sean Peyton has his Broncos humming as the 7th team in the playoffs with a rookie QB who has been impressive. He will get his chance when he actually can beat the Chiefs and the Chargers in their division. The Vikings allowed Cousins to depart via FA...Drafted a QB in the 1st round and lost him for the season in the pre-season. They picked Sam Darnold from the scrap heap and some how started 5-0 and a leading WC contender in a tough NFC North. He deserves every chance for consideration for Coach of the Year Mike Tomlin being the top choice is quite surprising. Tomlin did have his team in the playoffs last year with some scrub QBs...He got Fields and Wilson during the off season and they are at the top of their division. With the return of T.J from injury they were expected to make the playoffs. I am not sure why he is the top contender.
