And we scraped through the other games...the team was talent wise better than those teams they beat...In the playoffs, they barely beat the Dolphins at home with a 3rd string QB...and then ran into a more talented team with a chip on the shoulder and they executed.

To win in the playoffs and win the super bowl you need:everyone to fire on ALL cylinders and that includes the coaching staff along with the players and the super stars. Our defense has done some outstanding job in the regular season in terms of points allowed etc. but have been inconsistent in the playoffs. They couldn't close out games (Houston, KC) Our coaches have made poor decisions at critical times.

Josh Allen appears very serious in all the events and press conference during this off season. Compared to it, he was goofing around and loose in previous off seasons. I usually find him playing well when he is loose and comfortable. Anyone else notice this marked difference ?

They did get hot in the playoffs...A dream come back from nowhere win against the chargers, followed by a close one at Arrowhead.

I think the Patriots ran that kind of thing in their hey days.

The Bills lost three games in the regular season by a total of eight points...including the muffed game against the Vikings. I always wonder why the 13 teams last year did NOT let Allen run and double Diggs....or they did and others made plays ? Last year we did not have Kincaid, White did not play until Week 10, the two Safeties were mostly injured, Miller went on IR in week 10 and yet we went 13-3. This year, the safeties are back healthy, White is fully back from injury, we have signed Ford and Floyd to shore up the DL....sure we lost Edmunds and will be hard ot replace him at the MLB position...but still this team has improved than last year.

This team needs to learn to stop the run in critical times. I know they have been in top 10 Rush defense...but when it came to critical stops, this team failed. We need them to pick that up. We dominate the run ad put pressure on the QB. This team needs its defense to step up unlike any other year for them to have a shot at the SB

I really would like us to pay Jones and lock him up.

The WR group we had in 2021 was brilliant.. Diggs, Sanders, Beasley, Davis, Knox. I hope we can get similar production from the 2023 unit.

What I am excited about: Josh Allen playing with more focus in the off season Cook trending towards a bonafide NFL starter at RB Addition to the WR stable - Kincaid at Slot/TE, Hartey, Sheffield, Short Possible emergence of Shakir Addition of Damien Harris to the RB stable The offense definitely has the firepower to put on 30+ points every game. What I am worried about who is the signal caller on Defense ? Will Tre White come back to be the player he was in 2020-2021? Can we generate pass rush (Groot, Epenesa, Basham, Lawson) Will signing of Ford allow us to stop the run better ? Will the two safeties come back from their injuries and dominate the way they played in 2021 Will the coaching staff show up for big games ? I hope the Bills put 22 players on the field with specific tasks and don't ask their star players to over-compensate for weakness at their neighboring positions (For example, Matt Milano, Gabe Davis etc). It is on the coaching staff to get this team to execute and there is no excuses for this staff. Eric Washington should be in the hot seat for the DL play for the last few years (which has been soft).

Have to agree with it... Bills dropped a 17-0 lead against the Texans....When your linebackers are standing 20 feet beyond LOS on a 3rd and 18 Chiefs drop 30+ points in AFC Championship game 13 seconds - enough said Allowed Joe Mixon and friends to run rough shod in our own back yard

Having Kinccaid should help as he would be the guy clearing out the middle of the field. Tge question is - Will Josh trust him more than he did with Singletary, Cook or Moss

Josh is entering his sixth season and his prime. If a coach cannot win a SB with Josh as his Franchise QB, then the Bills will have to take a call.. The question will be whether the Pegulas will see it early on and make the move or do it in say Josh's 8th year. There is definitely something that is missing in this coaching staff when it comes to the playoffs...Texans, Colts, Chiefs, Dolphins, Bengals -- All games where the opposing coaching was better but thanks to our QB were able to sneak wins in some of them.

I would also put the Dallas Thanks giving game rather than the Pittsburgh game. This is the game where he had his coming out party as a NFL Super star on National TV. That 4th and 1 call was brilliant and showed what this game means to Josh.

Everyone is held accountable The Bills are identifying that winning AFC East and going to the playoffs is one thing; they also realize that you need superior coaching to elevate yourself in the playoffs and we don't have one as we have continued to make critical mistakes to exit the playoffs *. Bills had a 17-0 lead against the Watson led Texans...3rd and 16 with game on the line and the defenders were at the 25 yard mark. *. Bills take a 3 pt lead against the Chiefs with 17 seconds left and we allowed Mahomes two catches to get into FG range....We also kicked the ball to EZ and there by not taking any time of the clock *. Bills are pummeled by the Bengals Offense and Defense and were trailing by two scores most of the game. The OC could not adjust the game plan and kept chucking the ball downfield for low % plays. *. Bills lead 17-0 nothing against the Dolphins and allowed them to take the lead right after half time. Miami on that day ended up coaching poorly to lose the game to Josh Allen. When you make such mistakes, it usually ends in a loss in the playoffs. Playoffs are tough...We beat Baltimore on a great play by Tarun Johnson as the Ravens were knocking on the door to take the lead. The Bills coaching staff really needs to elevate their game to the next level to compete in the playoffs and win Super Bowls.

I found this frustrating especially when Singletary was consistently in the space occupied by the DBs and they would bring Moss to kill the momentum.

All the more for Basham and Epenesa to demonstrate being able to put the heat consistently on the opposing QBs.
