  1. I agree..In the 90s the main NFL program was watching the pre-game shows on ESPN, NBC, CBS and Fox. On ESPN, you would get to see the "NFL Matchup" and then at 7:30 PM EST you would get NFL Primetime. We used to sit waiting to watch the NFL Primetime (especially fi the Bills won) before switching to Sunday Night Football.
  2. All because NFL has become a 24/7/265 Product on Television with very ratings even on its rainy day !!!! It is the only sport that creates buzz for Shepherding cheap labor (College players) Draft to sign and lock up the cheap labor Rookie Mini-Camp Mandatory Mini Camp Applying Franchise Tag, Transition Tag Owners Meeting Training Camp Hall of Fame Game Hall of Fame Enshrinement 1st Pre Season Game Starters prep Pre season game Making the 53-man roster Announcing the captains of the squad Season Opener Preview Fantasy Drafts Season Opener Sunday Night Football Monday Night Double header Thursday Night Football Pink Month (Breast Cancer Awareness) Thanks Giving Football Saturday Night Football Flex Scheduling Final Playoffs candidates Fantasy super bowl Announcement of Pro Bowl Candidates Super Wildcard Weekend Divisional Round Conference Championship Meaningless Pro Bowl competition HoF candidate announcement Super Bowl Sunday SB MVP goes to Disney All Pro Ballots Clearing out Lockers Players going to their favorite Holiday spots Probably missing a few others...but the point is the NFL is broken down into so many chapters with each one garnering national attention on a daily basis. Go Bills !
  3. The NFL is played in the Capital of Capitalism.
  4. But the talent on this Dolphins defense is very different than the one on that Broncos D that leaked 535 yards and 5 TDs
  5. What about Coaching? I think they are going to make the biggest difference to this team.
  6. The Jets beat us by 3 points and lost to us by 4 points. the games were very close...they had crap at the QB position. They have a fantastic defense and now. a great QB. I think our games against them are going to be super tough. Their front seven have stopped the run very efficiently and made teams one dimensional.
  7. That will go away only when the Bills beat the Bengals in November! Dak has always showed up. It is the team around him that has failed him at critical times. Somewhat similar to what Allen is going through
  8. Josh played some of his memorable games on white-on-white...Thanksgiving at Dallas and the 13 seconds ignomy.
  9. Disagree. Von Miller had 8 sacks before tearing his ACL. He dominated the game against the Rams and then against the Chiefs. You don't win those games without his contribution. The DE is that critical to have a super star.
  10. We had a great OL with the 90's team...they were opening holes for Thomas or blocking down the field for Andre. Without a good to great OL we will not win the Superbowl.
  11. They were winning may games with the blue-on-blue combination last year.
  12. And we have to wait one more day on the regular season plate...The anticipation for the MNF game would be telling.
  13. The Giants usually have a good scheme with pass rushing and it is possible they may put him in a position to get 1-on-1 matchups and may be Boogie will make it to the next level.
  14. The bills on the road playoff record is 0-4 with losses at Jax, Houston, twice to chiefs and a bad loss at home to the bengals. they barely beat the colts, ravens and the dolphins. the bills have to fix their playoff woes.
  15. AFC East Division champion Go 4-2 in division with split with Miami and Jets Go 2-1 in the AWAY games against the best teams in Football (KC, CIN, PHI). Go 3-1 in the remaining conference games (DEN, Raiders, Chargers, Jacksonville) Go 3-0 against the NFC conference Go 1-0 on the 17th game Total 13-4 and host a home playoff game (#2 or #3 seed). The 4 losses are against their toughest opponents in the schedule. Playoffs - Get to play the Ravens at home and win that game. Go to Cincinnati and win this time Host the AFC Championship against Jacksonville (who had stunned the Chiefs) and win to go to SB Super Bowl Beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl to lift the coveted (and elusive) Lombardi. Allen is the Super Bowl MVP
  16. One of the articles on NFL.com says gives one of the reasons the Chiefs have hosted five straight AFC Championship games...their defense has never been top 10, but come playoffs, they get turnovers and shorten the field for their talented offense. Our defense has always come up short...They need to play their best in the playoffs...Being a Top-3 defense in the regular season doesn't mean a squat in the playoffs.
  17. If the Bills can commit to a dink-and-dunk moving the chains approach then Cook will get 1000 yards running. This is a exciting season with so many opportunities...Go Bills.
  18. Agree with that. Last year the offense made too many mistakes in the Red Zone I really want the Bills to go to a Dink-and-Dunk offense that protects the ball. I want the Bills to play the way they did against NE in the playoffs two seasons ago. Our defense is weak and the Bills offense needs to stay on the field to keep the defense off the field. Go Bills!
  19. Yeah that was Last year and he ended up starting one game for the Giants. I am surprised that the Bills did not go after him in March, when he decided to become a QB coach for the Broncos. They could have easily offered him the back up QB job over Kyle Allen.
  20. If the Bills lose all those three games, they will INDEED be a step below those teams. The Bills have to win 2 out of the 3 games to show they belong in that elite tier. These are the four best teams in the NFL along with the 49ers. THe hard part for the Bills is that ALL the three games are on the ROAD. Go Bills !
  21. Pickett has two good WR in Pickens and Johnson along with a very reliable TE in Friermuth. If their OL holds up, Pickett could make a transition to a good QB in year 2. Steelers have a good defense and have added more in the draft. However, I am not sure if they have the necessary firepower to overpower the Bengals who are a very balanced team with a great QB Pickett doesn't need to be Allen and I think the Steelers have assembled a good offense around Pickett.
  22. Agreed..and the Bills RB is going to face a very stout front seven in the Jets. Running the ball against them will be tough.
  23. https://www.nfl.com/news/restoring-russell-wilson-broncos-need-28-year-old-quarterback-turned-coach-davis Good article about Webb. It is not clear why the Bills did not hire him in any capacity after spending 3-seasons as Allen's backup. The guy has the right mentality...don't be cookie cutter approach..but play to the. strengths of your QB.
  24. There are so many "ifs" in AFC North
