  1. The underlying theme here, without competition in the market, we are stuck with a lackluster product, that sees no need for any type of overhaul...
  2. What are we basing this number on? Because the CDC has had to adjust their figures multiple times. We have also seen a massive decline in every other major cause of death. That doesn't seem peculiar? No one is saying this virus isn't deadly or should be taken lightly, but in no way, shape, or form should we keep throwing figures out like they are concrete fact. When the models have all been drastically wrong, numbers have had to be adjusted, other major causes of death are being marked as covid regardless if they are or aren't, there hasnt been substantial enough testing to even have true factual data to date, etc... I mean if your number is meant to impose a fear, why not go the other way with the 99% survival rate?
  3. Some people choose to look at the mortality rate, and make their own decisions.
  4. It was such a weird game in the respect that the outcome adversely effected each team. What should have propelled the Browns (finished 3-4 after that game) and what should have caused the Bills to come back to earth (finished 4-3 sitting starters the last game of the season).... Either way, I think it was actually a good lose, gave the Bills a kick in the shorts.
  5. I never mentioned Barkley or who of the two was a better backup. All I did was speak to the idea that Flacco is in no way looking to be a mentor. As some have stated it was a good pickup to have a veteran help Darnold. Seems like the case you are trying to make was off the wrong post, sorry.
  6. I'm going to go with Dawkins on offense Daryl Johnson on defense
  7. Flacco is the same guy who said he was not there to mentor Lock. What makes this any different? The guy didn't want to mentor Lamar in Baltimore, didn't want to mentor Lock in Denver, now all of a sudden he's going to mentor Darnold? Maybe Flacco finally understands his role in the league going forward, but i sincerely doubt it. https://www.thedenverchannel.com/sports/broncos/broncos-joe-flacco-admits-his-role-is-not-to-serve-as-drew-locks-mentor
  8. As an Islanders fan... i approve of this picture lol That aside, I really do like seeing Josh bonding with new comer Moss!
  9. No one worried about him having character issues. The problem on the sideline was over Oliver wearing a coat. The coach, Applewhite gets the benefit on the doubt why? Especially when people like Simms called out how poorly Applewhite treated him while at Texas... Remind me again, where is Applewhite is coaching these day, because it certainly ain't Houston.
  10. Most, but not all, again all encompassing statements don't make for the norm. When we consider the market share of prospects from larger schools, oppose to lesser known/small schools... it should favor the bigger schools having more successful pros. I mean how many prospects did LSU have drafted oppose to Lehnoir-Ryne? If half their prospects bust, its one thing, if Dugger busts its another. I do find it unique with how many Bills players from the past and present have come from lesser known/small schools and have had success. And some of our biggest busts have come from bigger schools. What school a prospect comes out of, is in no way inductive of a players projected success. Its a very small part of the equation, thus making it weak.
  11. Those are not roughly the same thing, at all. "Tons" can happen in any time frame, "all the time" is far more inductive and concrete. Regardless, the whole what school these guys come from and their basic production stats are really weak arguments. There is so much that goes into it.
  12. The ironic part is, i compared Fromm to Barkley right before the draft with a buddy of mine... i was a few deep lol, but I stand by it.
  13. They missed a deadline and the person responsible for that was terminated. The misspelled name issue was clarified pretty quickly after the situation. These are the pitchfork worthy issues? I mean, im an islander fan, i once had someone buy the team with zero money, legit potential for relocation (KC), had to split home games with an arena that was not suited for hockey, an old facility that was and still is very unsuited for today's standards... But yeah, not submitting a jersey in time. What a circus.
  14. So they didn't wear the jersey you wanted and they raised ticket prices. Those monsters.
  15. Curious as to why you'd say that? His contact balance is borderline elite, and his change of direction is extremely impressive for a guy his size. Also is a very good receiver, I think if there wasn't injury concerns, Moss would be rated higher.
  16. The new CBA changed its stance on Marijuana, so I'm curious as to what exact drug they failed for.
  17. As it shouldn't, the world didnt stop for other pandemics, sure as ish doesnt stop for the flu, but treatments aren't going to be found over night and moreover, without a true scientific process... who knows how effective the treatment will be and what long term side effects will be. Plus, we currently live in a country where a good chunk of people refuse to vaccinate from the outset. The same country who cant get everyone on the same page with distancing, wearing mask, staying quarantined, etc...
  18. I'm the biggest this is overblown person out there. I firmly am very entrenched that there is a lot of fear mongering, there is a lot of uncertainty being passed off as doom and gloom instead of optimism. However, models aside, the death tolls are still very high for something we know so little about. The economy needs to come back, but that is a debate if whether we are willing to deal with the death tolls, or not, and who is willing to bear that responsibility. Especially without any true studies done on this.
  19. Doesn't negate that there was good content in the article from medical professionals and professionals in the science field. Also, for all those that think its just as simple as get a vaccine and the world is back to normal... I truly am envious of the life you lead.
