We need to start allowing more garbage time TDs or simply get blown out here and there. I am still struggling to understand how winning often and winning big while rarely losing but losing small when we do is a criticism. It would be a valid criticism if these close losses were due to big mistakes or 4th quarter meltdowns but many were the opposite. Like Steelers, Jags, Dolphins when we looked like crap all game and almost finished the comeback in the final minute. Or the Bucs game where a huge comeback was ruined by a missed PI in the end zone. Or going for the win against the Titans rather than leave the game up to a coin toss in OT. I guess you could cite Hail Murray and 13 seconds as "big mistakes". Its arguable.

Its hanging out with the missed PI on McKenzie that ended our drive.

Thats either a miraculous recovery or everyone was right to mock him.

Trent was mediocre before Adrian Wilson took his head off. That MNF game against Cleveland where he threw 3 first half INTs was really when he transformed into captain checkdown in my opinion.

Whats his record in games decided by 10 or more? Letting teams score a few more garbage time TDs is the answer to all our problems.

The holding penalty for sure killed it. I think to hit the sideline Isiah would have had to loop further backward away from the Phins endzone. The defender did a decent job of playing the angle and forcing him back inside. A Lil' Dirty that wasn't cramping might have been able to get the yardage and get out of bounds.

Perhaps. High ankle sprains are serious injury. Tua missed a season and it took him a full season to get right after the surgery he had. Mocking the injured isn't something I am interested in with few exceptions.

Was he actually crying? For whatever its worth, I have seen some tough dudes cry on NFL fields after injuries. I don't think its always about pain tolerance. The emotion of leaving the field with what you already know is a severe injury and potentially losing a season that you trained your ass off for is a powerful thing.

1. Lamar doesn't take the type of hits Josh takes. 2. Its possible that Lamar has turned the corner, but I still think Lamar isn't a starting QB in this league without the threat to run ( I will admit he looks improved as a passer this year in what little I have seen from him). Allen could play a Rodgers type game and dominate from the pocket and scramble when its there. We don't need to run QB read options and jet sweeps with him in order for him to be an elite threat.
