It was exciting and made for great entertainment for the disinterested but it was horrible execution, mind boggling coaching decisions, and poor football that created these exciting situations. If you were a fan of any of those teams it was like watching the 6-3 game mixed with 13 seconds and wide right in terms of heart ache. These games were a comedy of errors between two teams trying their hardest to hand a win to their opponent. In summary, bad football. What makes a good football game is two teams executing and making big plays culminating in last second heroics rather than two teams one-upping the others ineptitude until a tie seems like the only possible outcome.

Week 1 of 2022 might the worst week of football ever played. Half of the slate were true trash classics. These are the types of wins and losses fanbases remember for decades. ATL and New Orleans - another epic ATL choke in one of the sloppiest games I have ever seen PIT and Cincinnatti - epicly bad clock management by cincinatti gifted the inept Stillers one last chance at a long field goal after both kickers missed game winning opportunities Seattle and Denver - Hackett runs the clock on himself and basically concedes the loss rather than give his team a chance to win Cleveland vs Carolina - 2 backup QBs battled it out in a punt fest punctuated with a few field goals Indy and Texans - Houston gave Indy every chance possible to win but Reich, a guy who ***** comebacks, couldn't engineer a way out of a steamy makeout session with his sister and the game ends tied. San Fran and Chicago - this game was played on a pond for some reason. Neither QB completed 50% of their passes. Titans and Giants - the Titans simply did everything they could to lose. Muffed punt, missing field goals, they would not be denied

That had serious Nathan Peterman "child of god" vibes. You never want to go full Peterman.

His teammates have doubted his authenticity for a while. Remember the "not black enough" commentary? Who says stuff like this? https://www.theroot.com/russell-wilson-says-god-asked-him-to-guide-ciara-as-the-1790886695 The good stuff starts at 4:30 mark.

Hes learned a lot about diplomacy and public speaking since having his jaw broken by a teammate.

Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.

The victims attorney basically said the civil suit was meant to draw attention and public pressure to motivate the DA and local police to take some kind of action. It doesn't appear to have worked yet. -
This is for you @YoloinOhio

You limit Kelce by getting to Mahomes early and often rushing 4. That appears to be the only way to slow down KC's offense.

Kurt Warner breakdown of Josh’s performance.

Its crazy how good the coverage was in most of those situations and it still didnt matter. Allen and the offense executed. Besides the Gabe TD, it wasn't trickery or scheming guys open, or blown coverage. That was all Allen reading the safeties, throwing with anticipation, and our WRs making plays when given the opportunity. -
Annual.

Fish fans don’t even know how to tailgate right
Jauronimo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I do not. -
KC made it look effortless yesterday. I have no idea how Kelce is so consistently wide open. Seems like covering him would be a good idea but no one does. We certainly don't. Losing Tyreek likely eliminates the threat of the homerun play but stopping their normal offense will remain a major challenge. Got to generate a pass rush against Mahomes.

I cannot believe I haven't witnessed this at the Ralph. Particularly the day I watched a few geniuses dunk a frozen turkey into an overloaded fryer. Oil was spilling over the top of the pot and wicking down into the flame as it ran all over the parking lot. Those idiots had no clue how close they were to starting a massive grease fire. -
This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had

That line of Mario, Dareus, Kyle and Hughes was a pleasure to watch. That defense was our best opportunity to score points!! Beane has built the best roster since the super bowl era. I hope this year proves it to be the best of all time. -

I agree. I think premier pass rusher was the difference between beating KC and winning a super bowl in 2021 vs another playoff exit. -
They must not watch our games because Allen is exceling from the pocket. Hes reading defenses, checking into the right plays, making the right reads and manipulating safeties with his eyes. Hes also incredible when rolling out of the pocket and improvising when protection breaks down. He is every bit the QB Rodgers or Mahomes is but he's the size of a linebacker. Hes going to be a problem for any defense.

Its great that the Dline looks amazing but lets not pretend we have had great return on investment in the Dline. For the past few offseasons, Dline has been the biggest investment and the biggest weakness despite two 1st rounders, two 2nd rounders used to shore up the Dline and money spent on Butler, Jefferson, and Star. The Philips and Miller signings look amazing so far and Beane gets the credit. He also gets credit for having the leagues most expensive Dline that couldnt stop the run to save their lives the past few years. -
Philips is great at penetrating and rushing the passer. His first stint in Buffalo, his run defense was a major point of criticism.

I am truly baffled how they could watch that performance and take away the Bills DL is soft. They are also pumping up their own D as something special. I don't remember the Titans defense slowing Josh down at all. If our revamped Dline can do anything to slow down Henry I don't see how the Titans keep pace.

Keep dreaming.

Ok, well yeah, but only for 20 years! Titans fans have a major QB inferiority complex. Look at Tanny's stats bro. Hes had the most 100 QB Rating games since week 14 of 2019 bro. More than Rodgers, more than Mahomes bro. Please believe me!
-
Titans forum is falling over themselves to prove Allen is Cam Newton and the Bills defense is soft. Interesting hill to die on.
-
That is a good team and we held them to 10 points despite shooting ourselves in the foot at every opportunity. That was 60 minutes of domination. This defense means Josh doesnt need to play perfect games. He still played almost perfect (classic overachiever) but he didnt need to.
