Very few highlights this year.....

1. Guess you should revise the title of your thread. 2. Sick semantics, bro. 3. Yes, if you ignore all the excitement, it was a very dull year. -
Very few highlights this year.....
Jauronimo replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought all those deep passes including 9 TD passes of 40 yards or more were pretty exciting. I also enjoyed this season's long TD runs. I know that it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I guess I'm just into that type of thing. -
Osweiler or Tyrod: Who Would You Sign Long-Term?
Jauronimo replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My main concern with signing Osweiler to a long term deal is that he's already under contract with another team. I think that can be considered tampering and come with hefty fines and league punishment similar to crippling punishments levied on the Patriots in years past. For that reason and because I'm generally leery of Caucasian quarterbacks I'd extend this Tyrod guy that everybody is talking about so much this season. -
Report: Seantrel Henderson Has Crohn's Disease
Jauronimo replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Aaron Chrohner released that to the media to cover his own behind, not only would it be kinda ironic, but also it would be a clear violation of his responsiblities as a coach under the Hypocratic Oath or HYPA laws as they're known colloquially. EDITED: To misspelled responsabilities on the first cut. LOL -
And then depression set in. That is what I find to be extremely frustrating about this season. I didn't know what to expect record wise this year, but I fully expected to see a dominant defensive units capable of supporting an inconsistent offense and even stealing a few games. I was worried they wouldn't be as good as they were under Schwartz but it never even crossed my mind that with the talent on the field they could be just mediocre. With Taylor providing at least adequate QB play (don't make this a TT thread) and the offense putting up more points than last year, the regression on defense is just maddening.

Any Average Player Can Be a Superstar In Buffalo

He reminds me of a young FleaMoulds except without an ounce of originality, humor, or wit. In other words, he's exactly like FleaMoulds. -

What do you require before falling in love with a man? Aside from the patience to deal with your misguided Crusades. -
Maybe we should draft a DE with better coverage skills? Are there any college DEs who drop back into that shallow zone well?

Cart WAY ahead of the horse, But.....
Jauronimo replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pre-meditated storming the field or court is just wrong. Let it happen organically. In the right mixture of emotion and alcohol (emphasis on the alcohol) sometimes things just happen and its f@$#ing special. But you god-damned millenials have turned once recklessly proud traditions into Hallmark, plastic wrapped, single serving bastardizations of our finest moments. Organized campaigns to storm the field are just perverse. I know your generation grew up with mandated play dates where you were bubble wrapped and braided each others hair for exactly 45 minutes under constant supervision but REAL life isn't scripted. No one plans to dizzybat face-plant into a bus, or get caught fornicating between two Chevelles, or get recorded blasting lines off a chunky girls lap in the 300 section but when you're open minded, in the moment and fantastically drunk, sometimes the magic finds you. -
Punt out of bounds every time tomorrow?
Jauronimo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When you've got Messer-Schmidt in the backfield, you fear no return man. There's no better kicker in WNY which is why Colton .45 is a front runner for the Moorman award this year which is granted to the best Bills punter. Schmidt on a shingle, piece of Schmidt, kicking the Schmidt, he's a man of many names but tomorrow is going to be a total Schmidt show, I guarantee it. -
Wide right replayed 20 times in 2 minutes is just brutal. What could have been? A few feet to the left, a slight breeze, a few more yards before the kick, and it all could have played out differently. Maybe those next few super bowls end differently with a win against the Giants. Its like back in the day when you start rubbing one out to that Hansen music video and then realize they're all dudes and you wonder what would my life be like if I hadn't finished. Different, definitely. Probably better. Ya know, theoretically.

If we make playoffs, we'll make it to the SB
Jauronimo replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Statistically speaking, over the last 25 years the Bills have made it to the Super Bowl 57% of the time after qualifying for the playoffs. That's basically a coin toss. Call the OP a crazy jackass if you must, but the numbers support him. -
Jay Cutler's brother-in-law found dead
Jauronimo replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its 2015, not 1950s Missitucky. Jews can have funerals on whatever day the want. Assuming they have bereavement time for in-laws or sufficient PTO, in accordance with the heretofore named Company's policies. -
Jay Cutler's brother-in-law found dead
Jauronimo replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it really depends on the Bears bereavement policy. My firm grants days off for bereavement only for immediate family members. Jay will have to take PTO if the Bears are similarly minded. Does anyone know if he has any PTO left? -
I hope Sammy is taking notes from the vet McCoy today on professionalism and how to handle the media.

McCoy to Bills teammates I need you this week
Jauronimo replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty poetic for a mid week presser. Here are some excerpts: Boobie: “Because Shady needs us now this week, Shady needs us more than ever” Wood: “Four game streak is gonna start tonight.” McCoy: “I used to think he was getting it done, but now Philly is falling apart. Nothing more to say, totally Chipped from the start…” I'm guessing Mario is no longer in charge of the locker room music. -

I advocated for trading a 3rd round draft pick to Clemson for Chad Kelly and a backup guy right after Dabo kicked him off the team. When Kelly enters the draft that may prove to have been a steal in hindsight. I know we got burned extending Fitz too early, but waiting isn't always the best course of action.

With a matter like this, sometimes it helps to weigh the pros and the cons. Pros: Has two arms and two legs. Meets minimum requirement to play football. Has a cool uncle. Knows where the stadium is. Probably won’t get lost and miss practices, or worse, games. High motor, probably. I have it on good authority he uses SPF 45. Is a Kelly. 100% of Bills quarterbacks named Kelly have gone to the hall of fame. Cons: Did not complete JUCO degree. Will he finish what he starts? Might spray up the place with his AK. That could put the whole team in danger. “Swag out Dabo!” Not sure what that means but it doesn’t sound good. Terrible rapper. Just terrible. Played at Ole Miss. Likely couldn’t get into New Miss. Major red flag. What does New Miss know that we don't?
