  1. Breaking news that the cops weren't off-duty but were actually undercover and investigating allegations that Shady and his entourage were serving counterfeit champagne. The assault took place after officer McRib and Pillowface found out that dat Crissy be Korbel.
  2. He wants to fight but not just anyone. He was rather *specific* on who he would fight.
  3. It absolutely is a reflection of government. Who offers tax incentives and funds stadiums with funds that will never realize full return on investment? Who has more power with which to extort? Poor Uncle Sam is at the mercy of the NFL? Nearsighted policy throws money at businesses and developers. Empty business parks around the country tell the story. Build it and they will lease. For 10 years. Then you have empty outdated buildings, the company relocated to a town next door dumb enough to make them an even better deal, and the tax payer is still on the hook. If government insists upon greeting the private sector with their pants down and wallets out then they can expect to get cleaned out. I blame the system which incentivizes such foolishness and not those who benefit from it. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me thousands of times a year....can't get fooled again.
  4. Sounds more like a criticism of state and municipal government to me.
  5. Yeah, I got that. Thought it was clear that I was being facetious especially when offering up a definition which includes the catch all "corporate expense" to arrive at corporate profit margin.
  6. The little guy suffered the most in the last financial meltdown because they weren't participating in the market. The little guy, wary of the dot com bubble and years of market stagnation, invested in tangible assets like real estate which were perceived to be less risky up until the moment that the music stopped. After the housing market crash, the middle and lower classes who had a disproportionate amount of their net wealth tied up in home equity were crushed. The rich were also hit hard by the real estate collapse but they had a greater portion of their wealth in stocks and other investments and subsequently benefited from the rebound in capital markets while the average person missed out on the rebound.
  7. What don't you get about corporate profit margins??? Revenue less corporate expenses = corporate profit margin. Its first day stuff, dude. I know, I've been working for the corporate office of a corporation. Our motto is margin growth.
  8. What should their purpose be? Are you familiar with fiduciary duty? If I and other investors gave Mark80 Co. a few million in capital by way of a stock purchase and the company donated the money to charity instead of growing the business, Mark80 Co. would be faced with a class action lawsuit.
  9. Super Bowl Exposes Glaring Weaknesses; Patriots Still Class of the Division
  10. I can let you slide for whiffing pretty badly on the comprehension but that attempt at a witty jab is just unforgiveable. How far do I have to go before you'll recognize it as such? Check your pulse.
  11. Botched Call Ruins Fairy Tale Finish What I Watched Instead of the Super Bowl 20 Reasons Why Baghdad Will Host a Super Bowl Before Buffalo Super Bowl Parade a Black Eye for Buffalo Cleveland Deserved It More Bisons May Have What It Takes Why I Hate Puppies and Sunshine and Children's Laughter

  15. That's just downright archaic. Chromosomes and genetics have absolutely nothing to do with gender. Gender is all about how a person feels deep down at any given moment. Its fluid and ever evolving. Its absolutely barbaric that people like you continue to insist on gender specific names for babies and inflict traditional gender roles on innocent lives who haven't even left the womb. When names could be gender neutral and just serve as a placeholder until a human being has actually had the opportunity to discover their gender identity, why is identity forced upon beings at birth? Why should the presence or lack of a Y chromosome decide a person's entire life from the what color clothes they can wear, to what bathroom they can use, and what order they exit a sinking ship? By the way, the ship that's sinking....its society. Society is sinking because of patriarchal micro aggressors who refuse to accept that gender doesn't fit neatly into your pre-conceived notions. This is a modern day Nuremberg and your whole way of thinking is on trial. Think about that! Its 2016, Tom. Time to get with the program!
  16. Total hamfisted policy which ignores gender identity and tries to fit everyone into nice tidy little boxes. What if Russ Brandon identifies as a queer trans woman? In this example, she receives no benefit simply because she has a penis. Similarly, if Kathryn Trask decides to move to management and actually identifies herself as a cis hetero man, then he is benefiting from Goodell's lack of foresight and furthering patriarchal dominance of the NFL. Another member of the good ol' boys club even though he has a vagina. Yet another bungle for the hapless Goodell. One would think that post Jenner people would understand that gender isn't just check box for male or female, but a totally fluid concept subject to rapid and frightening change.
  17. Has anyone else noticed that "dynamic" basically means runs fast when they're discussing QBs?
  18. Check out Maron on Netflix. Similar to Louie. Stand up comic gets his own show, totally neurotic. Not quite as sad as Louie and very funny.
  19. The man lost his wife!!! Cut him some freaking slack! Anyone might be a little nuts after a trauma like that. Have a little empathy.
  20. Then I guess you're just a worrier. Probably why your friends call you Whiskers?
  21. Who is messing around? Tyrod is under contract. They will work on an extension next year based on performance. There is nothing nefarious going on.
  22. We've completely disrespected him from the beginning. Signed him in free agency as a backup or third string, actually made him compete for the job in camp, named him the starter but lined him up at WR for the first snap of the season, played EJ instead of him when he was hurt, and then publicly stated that although he enters 2016 as the starter but they still want him to continue to improve. I'm surprised he hasn't burnt OBD to the ground or gone all Kromer and murdered a whole family. There's only so much a man can take.
  23. I know what those words mean, but not in that order.
