  1. Which stats do you like? You've already stated you don't have the time to dissect the "ingredients". Which stats do you trust?
  2. Cutting Spain to retroactively justify drafting Singeltary might be the hottest take of the hour.
  3. Hes been on IR for 3 years. Hard to get playing time when you're constantly hurt. Its amazing they held on to him as long as they did. He broke the Marcus Easley record for most consecutive IR time on a single team.
  4. Minnesota expected to be a contender but instead has watched their season go down in flames . Unless they are certain they can get a deal done with him next year they might cut bait. Unlikely, but I guess that's the "why".
  5. What do you base your opinions on if you don't trust any information which is inconvenient to your world view due to potential for bias?
  6. Making them inactive sounds like there is more to it than just poor play. They must have finally told McD what they think of his clapping. Message sent to the locker room. I hope they sign and then cut Tashard Choice so that the offense gets the same message.
  7. A breakout game for Epenesa would be about 30 snaps and staying onside for all of them.
  8. What's the point of being a fan if you don't watch the games?
  9. Do you think Donte Whitner considered himself a replacement level safety who made up for being wildly over drafted with a manufactured fake swagger and a truly cringey social media presence? I don't either. Some people only see what they want to see.
  10. Sounds like a vintage Steven Seagal or Van Damme movie.
  11. A few years ago, a thread with this title would have been a hair brained Logan Thomas sleeper thread citing his college and high school passing stats. Or maybe a really poor trolling attempt that ends with "NOT! Tyrod SUCKSSSSS!!!!". Or possibly a 13 second clip of Jordan Palmer throwing a spiral. Anything but a sincere assessment of our own starting QB. Progress.
  12. I see you're a man of taste and culture. Only the most refined among us can boast of in depth knowledge of regional sports talk radio.
  13. Where else in life do you feel like you're being condescended to? Pushy telemarketers with their new fangled long distance plans? Time share presentations? Fast food drive thrus? Watching your morning cartoons? Stick to less threatening media like WWE and NASCAR.
  14. A few years ago all we had to do was "get a franchise QB". Now its just walk down to the super market and get a generational pass rusher. Thats progress I suppose. Taking a look at pass rush stats the past year or two it looks like elite pass rusher may be more rare than franchise QB.
  15. If you feel that Sal is talking down to you that's a you problem. The good news for you (bad news for me and others) is that you're hardly alone.
  16. They took a roughing the passer call so yes, at least once he was touched. Someone got to him on a third down and forced a crappy throw too.
  17. They already did. Now they're salting the earth so nothing may grow again.
  18. His teammates don't like him. https://www.radio.com/thefandc/sports/washington-football-team/dwayne-haskins-gloated-about-stats-after-washington-loss https://www.sportsgossip.com/the-redskins-offensive-line-completely-ignoring-dwayne-haskins-on-the-sideline-is-not-easy-to-watch/ I hear he is overly concerned with what is being said about him in the media and spends a lot of time on Twitter. Maturity concerns abound.
  19. How many pull ups can Quinn do?
  20. This isn't new. One of my senior associates was diagnosed with lupus last year. We banished him to the empty 6th floor. He probably would have lost his job for it if he hadn't passed due to Covid this spring.
  21. There has been no single eureka moment. Its been a steady process of assessing his game and development. Early in his career he looked like a typical rookie. The game slowed down for him after injury and he made some nice throws, particularly deep down the field and with his legs. Potential was sky high but floor was marginal starter, not long for the NFL. Year two he added a wrinkle and was effective as an intermediate passer. He played more tentative after throwing some INTs against the Pats but gradually showed a willingness to take more chances. He was inconsistent in setting his feet, prone to errant passes and poor location, and still suffered from critical lapses in judgement. Potential was sky high but floor was game manager who needs a strong defense and special teams to win. This year he's consistently setting his feet, hes throwing with touch, hes manipulating safeties with his eyes, hes throwing his receivers open, going through his reads, taking command of the offense and putting up huge numbers. Floor looks like a Matt Ryan/Matt Stafford top third tier QB who needs some play makers and a solid scheme to win, and his ceiling is Hall of Famer, generational player.
  22. Its a travel day. You can't put everyone on a plane together until the whole team has been tested which takes time. NFL games require a ton of logistics.
  23. They were supposed to fly today. You can't put a whole team on a plane before everyone has been tested. If they can't fly today they aren't playing tomorrow.
