  1. Because I am one the few that isn't here to gleefully participate in the circle jerk and has the audacity to question or challenge posts rather than just celebrate any and every FJB, LGB, MAGA witticism I see. Thats what this place used to be about before Trump took office and the great schism that sent half of PPP out to form their own Utopia. Calling each issue as you see it and not tribes towing the party line to win the TBD culture war. By the way, the same thing is happening over at BF.com. The people who left this board because of its supposed political slant are finally rid of all the loony "leftists" and now they're finding more "liberals" among their ranks. And of course, liberals are anyone who interrupts the echo chamber. Funny how that happens. Stay silent unless you want to be labeled a liberal. Theres complicity for you.
  2. That is how a semi-literate would interpret that post. Another triumph.
  3. I'm glad you find my question funny. Now imagine the joy I get from watching semi-literates discuss global energy markets as "Joe Biden y u do dis?!?!"
  4. When was the executive branch ever in charge of gas and grocery prices?
  5. You didn't answer it either. What part of the "Bills leftists" qualification did you not understand in your vapid post? Complicity was your accusation and thats when I engaged this nonsense. Conclusion implies there was some type thought process that occurred or synthesis of relevant information. Asking who will condemn something that NO ONE on this board has ever publicly supported and then drawing damning conclusions from your own folly is asinine. Yet you will defend it to the death. LOL one is too many. Virtue signaling and pearl clutching intensifies.
  6. I also haven't "gone on record" today that the earth is round or the sky is blue. And I'm not a leftist so your demand does not apply to me. If you want engagement, bring substance and ask real questions rather than grandstand on non-events. If you want to be ignored or derided, troll the depths of the internet for more proof of trans propaganda in schools.
  7. Right, because "thats the silence you get from the left" and "silence of complicity" isn't insinuating that the nefarious lefties here hold drag shows as core values but are just too cowardly to defend their wicked ways. You specifically had to go back and edit the original post and add a bunch of qualifiers that are not contained in the dialogue on this page. Between the original post and the follow ups your intent is crystal clear. There would have to be substance for there to be deflection. No one is obligated to answer your silly demands.
  8. You've really taken the bait here. These are distractions meant to feed your sense of outrage. They have found you are highly susceptible to building mountain ranges out of molehills because "OMG this is what liberals believe!!". Works every time. Do you really think drag shows are tenets of any single American's core political beliefs? Someone whose time is less valuable than mine could spend a lifetime posting similar videos with similar demands, "Republicans, defend this!". None of us would be any wiser or better for it.
  9. Geary doesn't talk about the Pats all that much from what I recall. I see more Tua bashing and Browns bashing than Pats. Responding to 3 or 4 tweets and claiming those people are representative of Bills fans at large is first class journalism in today's media environment.
  10. That's the silence you get from silly demands.
  11. Trespassing has a little more weight when you do it say at the White House or the Capitol building. And it definitely has more weight when said trespassing occurs during say a state of the union, or confirmation of an election, or inauguration. People can continue to draw equivalency with squatting on a post office in Portland to make their persecution point and they will continue to look like buffoons. Nothing bridges the political aisle faster than a group of dangerous morons threatening the security of those who hold power. This was not a local protest. All of the protesters were from out of the area as were the "outside influencers". Travel arrangements made, hotels booked. Its no mystery why it has been investigated more than locals burning down the corner store in Waukaluska, Wisconsin. The Buffalo region is actually one of the leaders in terms of arrests made stemming from Jan 6. Erie County is right behind Franklin County, Ohio. Florida and Texas lead the way in arrests. https://spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/buffalo/news/2021/06/17/erie-county-ranks-second-in-u-s--for-january-6-capitol-riot-arrests
  12. What I am saying could not be more clear. Trying to change the outcome of a presidential election is different than burning gas stations and stealing Nikes. Are you really arguing they're equivalent acts? I don't even know what your point is since we have already established that a good number of arrests from the 2020 Summer riots and protests were prosecuted and convictions resulted.
  13. Right. They did go after those people and many were prosecuted. So this witch hunt narrative and political persecution angle isn't very compelling. One thing that bridges the aisle really quickly is f@#$ing with the seat of political power. And no, destroying property and entering the capitol building to effect the results of an election are not the same thing.
  14. Many. https://apnews.com/article/records-rebut-claims-jan-6-rioters-55adf4d46aff57b91af2fdd3345dace8 What is your point?
  15. If you're going to try and pull off this whole condescending bit, you have to execute. You can't call someone a sheep and then ***** up shepherd if you want to have any credibility. QAnon, Podesta, PizzaGate, Wikileaks, the Clinton's abducting children in Haiti and arming school teachers are anything but progressive talking points. Neither are they identity politics. Throw in virtue signaling and I would have hit BINGO on this post.
  16. Calling posts emotional where no emotion is to be found is truly a last resort. I'm surprised you haven't resorted to "u mad bro" memes.
  17. There was more than a little truth behind this joke. The juxtaposition between "there was no threat" and "wish they had succeeded" is interesting.
  18. Aren't most of them just instagram models he pays to give him massages rather than real therapists?
  19. One page ago. He is sure most people now wish the "non-threat" of the participants of Jan 6 had succeeded. I will give Doc credit and assume that quip was just another "I hate Biden" joke but then again I have seen a number of violent revolution fantasies described in this forum.
  20. Yes. I would suggest trying this phrase "Where is Steve?" in place of "Where is that squatty latin looking guy who talks like a *****?" Obviously this a joke, but the point stands. I can't think of any situations where you need to describe your coworkers like a police APB in an active pursuit. What they are wearing would help in these cases. Species is not an obvious identifier in my workplace.
  21. Talk your way out of wishing that violent idiots overturned the results of an election. Your words, Doc. No histrionics needed. These seem like the sentiments of a highly composed individual.
  22. I was surprised to see the participants referred to as rioters multiple times today. Even violent idiots. For the past 18 months we have witnessed people do everything they can to minimize the actions of the participants on Jan 6. PPP has often referred to the event as a rowdy self-guided tour through the nation's capitol. Now that charges have been filed for select individuals, yesterday's chest thumping about no charges filed has turned into more cries about the corrupt justice system. The same justice system that was celebrated when Trump was not found guilty of any collusion. The same justice system that was condemned for failing to convict Sussman. Seems like the criticisms are a little outcome based?
  23. I don't think using a preferred pronoun is much harder than getting someone's name correct. I also find I have no need for referring to people by their gender or their sexuality in a typical conversation. Names suffice. I can recall zero times where I was admonished or even politely corrected for getting someone's pronouns wrong and I can't recall an instance where I have witnessed such an encounter with other parties. I think if you make an earnest effort to be a decent person you probably don't have much to worry about and any microaggressions, perceived or otherwise, will be forgiven. Perhaps your truth and experiences are different. I recall many instances where I have observed someone squirm in visible discomfort at insensitive or downright offensive comments made on the topic of race, sexuality, and gender in public and in the workplace. Nothing else happened other than that individual was made to feel that they didn't belong. There were no public shamings or cancelations in these cases. If calling someone a rhinoceros makes them feel like part of the team at work its not much effort on my part. Definitely not as much effort as arguing with HR that they are in fact a humanoid species with two X chromosomes and it is my right to call them a ***** sapien woman in all communication. The biggest inconvenience in my life from all of this is that I have unwillingly found myself on the receiving end of long winded rants about pronouns in email footers and on LinkedIn and how the whole world is going to hell because of it as if I haven't heard the same tired screed a hundred times before.
  24. I am now together. Proceed with trying to talk your way out of your previous statement.
