  1. Clearly a preemptive strike against would-be law suits refarding concussions. It likely has no effect whatsoever, but it can't be used as a crutch in the future.
  2. Did you watch that video? I don't care if he is at all, I'm not Jerry Sullivan - I love Dareus, I just think it's impossible to tell me he's got complete control of his wits there.
  3. Yeah, but I think that had NOTHING to do with the Patriots. They clearly play Sweet Caroline because that's what other teams do (Red Sox obviously, but WVU, PITT, several other stadiums I've been to), similar to the white stripes song, similar to pretty much everything save for the shout song which none of the current employees had any hand in doing. It's just more unoriginal nonsense by the sub-par production staff. I love gamedays and wont spend any time complaining about the stadium, the team or any of that, but the hardest part of getting through the games for me has been the lackluster production. My guess is because it's only 10 events per year they don't invest anything into it, but it's really poorly done. One of the expensive screens is WASTED by just having fantasy/individual scores. The big screen itself doesn't maximize the resolution properly. When they show out of town scores, they show the game clock in those games, and they use the same font and size as OUR game clock - something that doesn't just annoy me, but could actually affect the players looking up from the field. I don't even mind that they throw a ton of ads up there, I get it, but there's just so much more they could do with that screen.
  4. Holy crap, he is high as a kite here. Seriously, watch this and tell me he's not under the influence: http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Watch_Marcell_Dareus_Signs_Contract_Extension/877f1a83-50ce-4dff-bda3-ae666bb74d1b
  5. Makes sense that Pegula does this in his first home game after an full offseason to prepare. Classy move.
  6. I'm pretty sure Doug emails that out to all new players on their first day.
  7. Pass over the middle to Charles Clay for 13 yards. We'll get 1 first down (price is right, baby!).
  8. Really? In their last 14 starts (also, EJ's FIRST 14 starts), Manuel's record is 6-8 (including a loss in the Cleveland game that he left the field leading) and Cassel's is 4-10. It's pretty amazing to me that people for whatever reason hold this opinion. Also, scroll to the bottom of this page, and let me know how you feel about Cassel's game managing (I'll give you a hint, he's averaged 145 passing yards in his last 5 starts): http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CassMa00/gamelog//
  9. Buddy, are you seriously trying to suggest that Matt Cassel is more elusive than EJ Manuel? It's not a debatable topic. Matt Cassel himself would undoubtedly tell you that he is not.
  10. I feel you. I imagine before the preseason, if EJ put some goals on paper on how well he could see himself playing, he would have exceeded those goals. It's got to be frustrating to make that much progress and still have no chance to play.
  11. Wow, you're serious, aren't you?
  12. ...are you joking? I can't tell. If not, please get help.
  13. This is where I am at. I hate that we haven't had a franchise QB, and over the years the backup has always been the most popular player. I just want Taylor to step it up so that we don't have to constantly hear about bringing in Cassel, or worse, actually bring in Cassel.
  14. Here what comes? Are you excited about Matt Cassel? Am I missing something? All of the sudden because the Bills were able to essentially restructure his deal (evidence that no other team wanted him more than league minimum, mind you) I'm supposed to be excited he's on the roster?
  15. To fans that think this type of move is some sort of genius...consider that it's Matt Cassel we're talking about.
  16. I have gone through many different emotions regarding the Buffalo Bills QB situation over the last three seasons, but now I am genuinely starting to feel bad for EJ Manuel. As much as I'd love to see him perform well for the Bills, I think he needs to get out of here. Such blatant and undeserved (in my opinion, of course) disrespect.
  17. Trent Edwards running out of bounds on 4th down says, "Hi."
  18. His recent facebook posts haven't been getting the likes they once were.
  19. Did you think his post might have been sarcasm? no?
  20. If this took place in 2015, Clements would have been flagged 15 yards, ejected, suspended the remainder of the season and fined an ungodly amount of money.
  21. Eh, I'm pretty sure they're still going to get the close calls, at least when they play us. I'm a firm believer that the slight disfavor of the Bills by the refs has everything to do with psychological bias. I think they're reinforcing an image that they believe (we are no good), and when something is a close call, they err on the side of the better teams. With the Patriots, we've seen them get some bad calls in the past (a Carolina game comes to mind), but I think the larger bias is against teams that are thought to generally be bad.
  22. Pretty sure teams don't draft players to intentionally place them on PS. If you would rather have Simms than EJ on your roster in an attempt to save what you yourself believe to be a small amount then I really have nothing to say to you.
