  1. Why start a new thread to regurgitate what you've read all over these boards and heard on WGR?
  2. Grammatically speaking, if you stop putting spaces before your periods and commas your posts would be much easier to read.
  3. It makes me dumber even having to type this out for you, but Zach Mettenberger is 0-6 as a starter and worse than EJ Manuel.
  4. I'm more interested in his scripted plays after the catch with WR's doing laterals. It's a totally untapped aspect to the game, and I've always thought to move the ball in that manner every once in a while would completely throw off the defense. For example, if you had Chris Hogan run a slant towards the middle, and have him turn around after the catch and essentially hand it off to Percy Harvin who is running laterally, all the while the rest of the unit executed a punt return formation, how in the world would the defense be ready to stop it?
  5. I don't understand what you're going to say when EJ gets his opportunity in preseason with the 1's? I mean according to you we must take all reports from the media as gospel, right? So what happens when they report he's practicing with the ones? Are you going to return to this thread and announce, EJ IS FIRST. PERIOD. EXCLAMATION POINT!
  6. I thought this wasn't up for debate, though? You have no response other than to point to totally different players? As far as the media is concerned, who other than Joe B. and Sal Capacia (and by extension the mighty WGR 550) has reported to you that EJ Manuel is a horrible (without debate) quarterback?
  7. Where did this come from? Honestly? How is that not up for debate? Last season he went 2-2, and had 5 TDs and 3 INTs. Heading into the Texans game he had a QB Rating of 91.8. He played poorly in the Texans game, but how crazy are you to assume that a bad game means he's horrible and it's without debate. If you look at a single game to make your decision, why did you pick that game and not the Panthers game from his rookie season? Don't forget the facts because of the crusade, man. This kid was not as bad as the media and the crazies on the board are portraying. We've had some real stinkers the last few years, and I'm shocked how many hate on this guy, perhaps more than the others.
  8. ...he went 2-2. Crusaders gonna crusade.
  9. I don't understand the hate for the OP's comments. I want to beat Brady, 100%. If you don't think the win will be cheapened without him in there, how do you feel about our week 17 win last year? I say all of this completely knowing that all games count the same, so save it. I want to see Brady throw 4 picks again. I want to see him get sacked as much as possible. I want the Bills to use a huge division shifting win as momentum for the rest of the season. Roger Federer won the French Open because another player beat Nadal for him. He won the tournament, it was great for him, but it was so cheapened and everyone knows it. We want to see the best face each other, and we are lying if we wouldn't prefer that the Bills beat the Pats with Brady at QB.
  10. Although the OP's article insinuates that he's starting, the depth chart has him penciled in at No. 2: Ole Miss Depth Chart And this article mentions a 3-way battle, for those interested: Ole Miss Preview and this as well, Ole Miss QB Battle.
  11. If we do attempt to release him and stash him there, I think it would be telling, and I wouldn't be that upset about it. He came to a roster with huge question marks at TE, even with the Clay signing. If it's a talent thing, then there's no use holding out hope (though I do prefer his upside to a pure blocker like Mulligan).
  12. Wow. He's starting for Ole Miss? Never would have predicted that after all of his missteps.
  13. I'm sorry, but...what? It doesn't matter who's side you are on, this clearly isn't the case. He was pulled in his 14th game and the fault on the team is probably going to be that they never gave him an opportunity. He's a .500 QB if Stevie and Chandler didn't fumble the Atlanta game away in miraculous fashion. The notion that this guy is a complete bust is laughable to me. I will never understand the obsession with wanting your 1st round QB to fail. Never.
  14. What sort of settlement are the experts projecting here? Am I to assume the judges are not going to accept the arbitrator's case? I assumed that the time and resources the NFL put into the Wells investigation would trump any rebuttal and need for intervention/settlement? Is there precedent in the courts stepping in and forcing a settlement when everything has been as thorough as the NFL has put forth?
  15. As someone who doesn't want to go through 99 pages of this back and forth, is there a timetable when we can expect a new development?
  16. Exiting Lot 5 is an absolute nightmare. There should be constant flow out onto Southwestern. It was never as bad as it's been the last couple years.
  17. You guys know that Sal Cappacio isn't the head coach of the Buffalo Bills, right? I mean Jesus, they haven't even played a pre-season game yet.
  18. If he gets the nod, Ryan Fitzpatrick will now have started games for six teams. That's impressive. What's the record for the quarterback position?
  19. I'm not even sure Joe B can throw a spiral, so why would I let this kid be my primary source for training camp updates. I no longer care what our journalists say or report, I'm going to let the preseason games dictate everything for myself.
  20. I went to Joe B's twitter account to see where he could be going wrong with such biased reporting...and it was littered with petty twitter fights. He's clearly argumentative/defensive and just all around unprofessional. He is focusing on agendas as opposed to actual reporting.
  21. I always forget just how insane you are.
