  1. Is Cundiff really better than Carpenter? Really?
  2. He lost 1 fumble in those games. I'd be pretty happy if Indianapolis decided not to retain him because of a correctable, fluky issue.
  3. Why was he even available to begin with? He had 298 total yards and 2 TDs in the 3 playoff games with INDY last year.
  4. So you haven't read anything I've said in this thread, cool.
  5. Wow. Relax dude. We're rooting for the same team, right?
  6. Those actually aren't facts, they're literally your opinion. I will continue to mindlessly look at W and L for QBs. Thanks though.
  7. The number one trait I want for my Quarterback is a winner. You want to look at stats? I don't know what do I look at here? He looked good in the wins, and bad in the losses. Tyrod had 38 yards at half time yesterday, and went something like 9 straight 3-and-outs in the 2nd and 3rd quarter against the Patriots. I want to give Taylor more time before I go anywhere near as goo-goo-ga-ga as some of you swooners.
  8. Tyrod is the QB and he deserves his opportunity to play this entire season, but people are using excuses as if there's a fear that they need to justify this guy's every move. We need to just let it play out. On the one side, the hyper analytical nature of everything is annoying, and on the other side of the spectrum, the excuse makers, are just as bad. Oh, and the bold is literally not true at all -- half of his games are losses. The sooner your man crush tempers a bit, the easier it will be to follow your points.
  9. Oh, you mean excuses? Hmmm...I remember not long ago that people were very quick to disregard excuses when judging a young quarterback...I guess this time it's different though, right?
  10. What about yesterday's QB play felt like it was any different than the last 15 years? Give him time, yes -- but don't anoint him. Tyrod has the team exactly where they were at this point last year. Hopefully, if allowed to grow, we will see the team improve.
  11. Tyrod Taylorski?
  12. I agree 100% and we may know sooner than a full season if it goes fully south, but I don't think that it will. Tyrod has some causes for concern and of course he's not the guy that everyone prematurely anointed him to be.
  13. The hypocrisy of these guys who are saying to give Tyrod time, when they brought out the pitchforks immediately with the last guy. We're all messed up as a fan base because we don't know what it's like to groom a QB and make them great. After sitting on the bench for a few years, Aaron Rogers went 2-3 to start his first season and I'm sure there's some crazies who wanted to move on. I genuinely want to give Tyrod a full season and he wasn't my favorite out of the preseason. You can't just quit on your quarterback.
  14. Another coaching staff that thinks the best solution on 4th and inches is to bring out your offense and try and get the defense to take an undisciplined encroachment. I'm sorry, but this is the least imaginative, most predictable thing a coach can do. Once an extra 5 seconds goes by than a normal snap, the whole stadium knows its not going to be snapped. Unless you do a total fake-out and actually hike the ball with a second remaining on the game clock, just remove this crap altogether. Serves them right that they got false start on that play, too.
  15. 2-2 to start the season...you would be crazy to bench a QB that starts the year like that...
  16. It's possible that for some reason Brown is just not a special teams guy and that was heavily factored into the release, and perhaps why other teams are staying away. I tend to think you want the last back on the depth chart to be a flexible utility piece on the roster. I will say this though...unless Boobie Dixon proves to be an asset in short yardage situations soon, I think we didn't keep the right 3rd back.
  17. I tend to think that it's pretty rare to hire a coach after only one successful season as an offensive coordinator. What happened to Pettine was bad luck and certainly not the rule.
  18. So you could use it as your signature?
  19. Chargers made a big comeback against Detroit. They were marching late when Stevie Johnson tipped an easy pass in the air and it turned into a pick 6. I think they will be a wildcard contender for sure. Look for 3 teams out of that division. The KC game will be huge (again).
  20. I can rest easy knowing that a guy who's username is "FireChan" is holding out hope for Ryan Tannehill, and is telling me to "get it together".
  21. Starts a thread about trading McKelvin Wants us to keep McKelvine
  22. We get it, you made a metaphor, relax.
  23. Love his podcast. No one rambles like Ol' Billy Boy.
