  1. I agree 100%. It's a non-issue. Bring them all in (and I don't mean Matt Cassel).
  2. I would draft a QB 100%. 1st round and a later round as well. If we have a franchise quarterback we would have beaten the Patriots*** last night. We gotta keep searching.
  3. In listening to the presser he does sound frustrated with the time it takes to get plays in offensively. Sort of to what the OP is saying, I could sense a little frustration. Nothing major, but his D stepped up and the O did not. Adding the double RB package was a cute wrinkle, but we needed to challenge the pats*** more over the middle when they stack the box. I truly hope we don't die by the run this season.
  4. Not true. A great leader is also a great delegator. He is in control on the decision to punt and explained that if we didn't run backwards on third down that we would have called the offense back out. Not sure what you want him involved in offensively. Trust your coaches to coach.
  5. How do you know who is to blame on that?
  6. No urgency. Lost a minute and half getting no yards there. Huddling up the whole time. Against this team we won't get the ball back. Good game.
  7. +1 Accountability is a huge issue for me as well. I think there's credence to the whole, better cameras, better TV's mean we scrutinize each call a bit more than in the past, but there doesn't appear to be any incentive for the refs to get any better. The more experience these guys have it appears the more desensitized they are to f*cking everything up.
  8. Thank you for laying this out so clearly for me...
  9. I agree that the Bills will try to win.
  10. When you improvise once and a while good things can happen, I agree. When you make it your main attribute, you're in trouble. The touchdown you posted was called back anyways, as Johnny Football would have been eaten alive at the 20 yard line.
  11. It certainly is an attribute that they have in common. Good thing those guys are also good at throwing the football and diagnosing defenses.
  12. That was probably the designed play, right? I'm sure he can sustain that and lead his team to a superbowl win just like Michael Vick did.
  13. Been hearing that for over a month now. What are they 0-5 without him?
  14. thanks for sharing
  15. I also thought that they were setting up the play action but they only ran it a few times. I think Tyrod had no time, but we didn't factor that in. Only one screen I can think of and few crossing patterns or quick designed throws.
  16. Seems to really fall apart on 3rd and short. Not sure if it's a case of out-thinking ourselves or what, but there were a few roll-out pass plays that were sniffed out and we seemed to keep trying rather than switch it up.
  17. Well...16 points (and 3 came on a series where we started in field goal range and still had to settle...)
  18. A must watch for people that think he's just going through the motions. Such a selfless approach to clog up a few linemen to spring Hughes free for the sack-fumble. Love that he called it right before, too.
  19. He read a screen perfectly and stuck the receiver behind the LOS. Fantastic play that showed a lot of instinct.
  20. I get very angry at people that shout "sit down". It has a very high horse implication and doesn't belong at a football game. I'm never the one to stand up and wave my arms wildly to get everyone standing, but I definitely will stand quickly on 3rd downs and don't have a problem with it. I can't say for sure, but I can't see myself complaining about it if I'm ever in a position where I can't stand as often due to age. If someone says, "sit in your seat that you paid for" or something to that effect, it's an instant eye roll for me.
  21. If you play out his W-L record to a 16 game pace, he would be 3-13. I definitely don't think Andrew Luck sucks, but to say he's having a great season like you're trying to do is also a little crazy.
