  1. Non-ironically making an excuse here in this thread is actually pretty funny to me.
  2. Post redacted for fear of life.
  3. We had Boom Herron returning kickoffs last week. It's like...are we even trying?
  4. FWIW, TJ Graham signed with the Saints this past week.
  5. What specifically has been said here that you feel would warrant starting a fight over in public? As far as I can tell, you're the only one here threatening to fight people from behind your keyboard.
  6. This debate is a slippery slope and I agree with everything you said in general terms. Grammar nazis should stay away from social media. But... He confused the word "once" for "wants" I'm not sure we're really talking about the same thing here. This was no character saving device. This was an error I would not expect from a 3rd grader.
  7. By taking down the GIFs and Vines it's in line with their strict no-reproduce policy they've had for years. I suppose their argument this time around is that it would deter someone from purchasing the all-22 product when they can just get the analysis for free. I personally struggle with the ALL-22 because you still don't know what the hell they were supposed to do. It's a bit easier for 1 on 1 matchups and seeing defensive schemes, but for QB and WR analysis... I'm not so sure.
  8. Seriously? Look at yourself. You're taking this more personally than Sammy himself. This guy made a serious PR mistake and his character has come into question a few times now. That's where we are right now with Sammy Watkins, like it or not. He hasn't produced much, which can be forgiven a little due to injuries - but he's running his mouth which doesn't sit well with people. How you can continue to overlook that and defend it is beyond me.
  9. I’m shocked how many of you are defending this. This shows serious immaturity and relays back to what we have been hearing about Sammy, that he’s a me-first type of guy That was one of the worst attempts at the english language I have ever seen from someone with a college education. He confused “once” for “wants”. I’m actually stunned by that level of ignorance. I keep seeing all these other WRs in the draft class (Beckham, Hopkins, and Evans at the top of the list) and I just don’t understand the need to reach like we did. All I hear about Hopkins is how hard he works and his numbers are out of this world with NO QB. Watkins can only catch what is thrown to him, but I’m starting to lose hope (I’ve already lost any respect)
  10. That's probably because the A/V department is terrible at OBD and instead of mic'ing the crowd, they just bump the questions. It was taken directly from the team's press conference (@ the 10 min mark): http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Doug-Marrone-Monday-Press-Conference/8144bcd7-fa5c-4080-9cba-c6805afdc18e
  11. YES! I truly miss gems like these:
  12. Thanks for derailing the thread
  13. I have to agree with this take. The reality is that a lot of luck goes into getting your franchise QB and we don't have that. We took our chances. Using the OP's "last 20 years" template... We tried to buy a Carson Palmer...and Bledsoe didn't live up. We tried to draft a mid-round QB a la Russel Wilson...and Trent Edwards didn't live up. We tried to draft the top QB in the draft...and EJ didn't live up. We tried to draft a 1st round, not the best in draft QB...and JP Losman didn't live up. We even tried the hey you never know let's get a retread...and Fitzpatrick didn't live up. Maybe it's just incredibly hard to get a franchise quarterback? It always seems like the grass is always greener, but Tyrod is probably the best QB we could have gotten for this season.
  14. Cool, yet another thing the league will ram down our throats.
  15. There's never a more relevant time to say, "same old Bills," than when your only pro bowler is your punter.
  16. Yeah, this year we deserve to get snubbed. I suppose Clay is leading the AFC in catches so there's that...but no one else is really doing anything noteworthy.
  17. Yes, you know school very, very well.
  18. Did you even read any of the posts?
  19. Okay let's keep this about Easley, poor guy can't even get a thread without getting buried further down the depth chart.
  20. Agree with this philosophy 100%. I guess my only issue is that he's not getting an opportunity to answer the bell (or so it appears).
  21. Has anyone else wondered about the use of Easley, especially with our often depleted WR group? I'd like to think that the former 4th round pick is capable of playing the position and he often excels in preseason. Why is it a given that "preseason star" Hogan is automatically given an opportunity in the season, but Easley is overlooked? I get that he's the special teams ace but even there he can be used more. Why is Boom Herron returning kick offs? Easley had a 55 yard return his first season with the Bills and has a KR for a TD in a preseason. He seems more than capable of handling that role, and certainly is an upgrade to Herron and Dixon (honestly, why are they the ones back there?) It was great to see Easley get that touchdown on Sunday, I just hope that's not the last we ever hear of him.
  22. The major problem with another reset is that the team is in line to win now, sans quarterback. You say that we can't magically trade for a Pro Bowl QB, but unless Tyrod becomes one, we almost literally have to. I think there was a disconnect between the personnel assembled on the roster and the coaching scheme. Rex does not necessitate tremendous edge rushers in his style of defense, and our entire team was built around that last season. I would have to think that if we start a rebuild it will just be worse than the Jets' debacle over the past couple seasons. Let this sink in, if you will...when you say another full-blown housecleaning in a couple years, we're talking about extending the playoff drought to 20+ years.
