  1. I went all in on the Mike Williams thing! I'm trapped in my forever vengeful hometown hero worship, and I can't get out. Can we at least agree on the Marrone thing??
  2. That's true. For Marrone, the real choice was whether to be a ruthless megalomaniac, or just a closet megalomaniac. Sadly for Mike Williams, we now know what it takes to be the "Offensive Line Coach" and "Assistant Coach - Offense" in the NFL. Specifically, in Jacksonville.
  3. With our red zone scoring issues, Mike Williams obviously.
  4. Finally...a take on these boards that I can get behind!
  5. Given this scenario...would you rather have McCoy only, or Spiller + Kiko? If we were balking at an extra .5 mill, seems silly to me given the following event.
  6. From that article: Isn't that exactly like Philadelphia? Is Philadelphia in California now, it doesn't snow there? Have they been known for winning? How many superbowls do they have? What a weird comment.
  7. I think this is very well stated. He gets interviewed on the station as an insider and draft expert, which is really weird, because he often just says the obvious. This whole, "not graduating from FSU" thing is pretty funny though. When he talks about them so incessantly, does he mean that...he's just a fan? He never says anything shocking, and I specifically recall during the Marrone preseason spat, Joe B. offered no insight, even though he claimed to be right there. Wait... I found it. Attended FSU, but did not graduate. While that's humorous, it's nowhere near the incredible "Built contacts in the banking world" description from his position as a bank teller!
  8. I find it very hard for this guy to be qualified for channel 7. His reporting aside, he really stumbled through his interviews. He's probably too green to be on TV.
  9. There's so many signs of dysfunction on offense. Case in point: they had nonissue getting to the redzone, then they would crumble. That's a sign of overcoaching and being too situational. My guess is they were too system based and their packages reflected situations rather than their players' strength and it prevented the team from finding a rythem.
  10. EJ > McCowan in almost every single statistical category, including the infamous "eye-ball test".
  11. HA! Going by the old adage, everything's for sale for the right price...what would we have to give up for Luck? 4 years' worth of firsts, Dareus, Sammy, Kiko - what else?

Even still, why would the Bills trade one of our top players for the 29th OVR pick?
  14. Are you living in a world where you don't think there have been meetings regarding damage control? I'm not saying necessarily that he's right, but without a doubt there will be an attempt to clear the NFL's image via the media.
  15. Couldn't agree more. I'm sure there are weaving forums out there with more negativity.
  16. You know they cheated, right? There is no high ground here, we're simply fans. Mocking Patriots fans for rooting for a cheating team is a part of sports. It's part of the identity. It needs to be done, with or without you. No one will be calling you a whiner except for Boston fans, to which you laugh and call them cheaters. It's a cycle -- it's sports. It's not real, and you should try and have a little bit more fun with it. Embrace it. You've already signed up on a sports message board.
  17. The point is that, in acting that way you're not simply being a skeptic, you're taking pride in mocking Bills fans. It's pathetic. More so than those alleged "whiners" if you ask me.
  18. His track record really is unreal, but it also really is not at a D1 program. I'm still excited for this year, but it boggles my mind how horrible a University with that kind of money and ESPN exposure can be at recruiting. I disagree that they're starting to get on the map. If you look at their 07-09 recruiting classes, they had many more ranked players. There was one season with multiple 3 star recruits, which to me should be an absolute minimum to be competitive.
  19. The sad part of today is UB, who hosted events and held media coverage. Their top recruit was the 82nd best RB in the nation. They got a 2 star QB and there are very positive reports about it, even though only Eastern and Central Michigan made offers. I love UB, and root very hard for them, but it's hard to watch them constantly act like a big school without any big actions.
  20. That's literally not true at all.
  21. Well they shouldn't, because it's not even close to as heartbreaking. The refs reviewed and upheld our "miracle", remember.
  22. It's not publicly bashing a HC. It's publicly bashing an OL coach. You get that, right?
