Pretty much this. He's slow for sure, but he gets a pass. Given our team needs, I'm not sure this was the pick we needed, and it certainly didn't help us this season. We really could have used an impact player in the 1st round of the draft.

I'm really curious how all of your notes defend Russ's role as President of the team. I could just as easily point out numerous occasions where he has stated that HIS main priority and goal for the organization is to win a superbowl. The team hasn't even sniffed the playoffs in nearly 10 years of his semi autonomy. Would we really be any worse off without him, really?

After watching that video...I've never felt more childish for caring about a football team as much as well seemingly do. I calmly closed the browser tab and stared at my screen and just whispered "who cares...?" as I sat still in the self realization that I just watched, with legitimate interest, a handful of grown men talk circles about nothing. It's really pathetic and not healthy for any of us to get into this like we do. It's honestly a damn soap opera for men and I'd be very hypocritical if I didn't point that out. I want a new coach, new players, new gm, new president, etc. etc. but I don't want to be as interested in the process anymore. It's not healthy that I know as much about Russ Brandon as I do. Do you think most fans at the Stadium could even pick Russ Brandon out of a pack of 10 men wearing suits outside of Napolis? I'm ranting, but I think I'm slowly going to slide into the realm of the "casual fan"...

Continuity is the perfect term for the Buffalo Bills franchise. We are continually average. We've tried continuity with Jauron. If you're not good, you're not going to suddenly figure it out in year 5. Rex Ryan has been the head coach for 8 seasons and 125 games. We (stupidly) brought him in to win now. We had a stellar defense. He blew it up - sure, but why would that buy him more time?

Not true, and a horrible take. I'm sick of seeing this same exact bullcrap argument posted. He's not good. He's marginally better than the other options at best. It's time to move on. No doubt. Taylor will finally throw for 300 yards against the winless Browns at home and I'm going to have to sit here and read all about it for an entire offseason.

I think there's bad blood with him and Kelly, and Harbaugh strikes me as the kind of guy who doesn't hold grudges lightly. He definitely would to be offered an absolutely outrageous contract to come here.

I genuinely don't want Polian to be involved with the Bills. I think he had an incredible career, and he's no doubt one of the all-time great front office guys in the history of the game, but he just turned 74 years old.

HA HA HA! Now that is funny. I've heard John Murphy say some absolutely crazy stuff on the radio. He's obviously a shill, but it's unreal how bad he is at masking that. There's an art to having conversations about firing everybody when you're supposed to toe the company line, and let me tell you, Murphy is no Picasso.
