  1. If we come into next season with McCoy, Gillislee, and Williams, I'd like to bring in Starks to compete in camp. I don't think highly of Williams at all, and with our recent RB injuries, I see the RB3 position as one of value. I could see the argument that we need to get younger at RB, but I think backs are a dime a dozen anyway, and if we really just spent $1 million on Bush last season, why not kick the tires on Starks. If he's too slow in camp, release him and it's no big deal. Honestly, if it's late in the season, and we have some injuries at RB, would you rather have Starks come in to start or J. Williams?
  2. The ship has sailed but knowing what we know about Reggie Bush's season, even had Fred only rushed for like 100 yards, his presense in the locker room could have made a difference on our season. Cutting Fred in 2015 because he's too old, but bringing in the washed up Reggie Bush in 2016 was laughable. The Bush move screams Rex Ryan, but I still think we underrated Fred's leadership role the year before.
  3. meh Edit: can we leave this stuff for facebook? I come here because it's one of the few sports sites safe from the onslaught of unfunny sports memes.
  4. Great player. Always did well in his role and had a few games where he really shined. The guy had 993 total yards as back-up in 2015 which is pretty impressive. I'll never forget his rookie year where he rushed for over 300+ yards in the playoffs and led the Packers in rushing in their Super Bowl win.
  5. I love it when businesses attempt to create viral marketing and it works because people are dumb enough to eat it up and share despite it's low-quality.
  6. Yeah but I don't think it would be very safe for him to spend all his work time on this site like all of us...
  7. He had a great start to the season. If he had kept it up he'd be getting some real awards in the coming weeks. I love Lorax, but he definitely slowed down and I can't help but think age was a factor. He's not high on my "players to re-sign list".
  8. I almost took the time to write an honest reply, until I realized you're a Patriots*** fan and of course you don't like Eli Manning.
  9. Count me in as someone who never really thinks or cares about the position coaches (until one becomes our interim head coach). I am in the ABDL* camp for the QB coach though. *Anyone But David Lee
  10. "Okay, I'm totally going to be sober now" - Johnny Manziel, drinking his final beer of the night (approx. 3:47am on a Thursday).
  11. Don't worry Leroi, he didn't mean you. You're very cool.
  12. How funny would it be if David Lee was retained.
  13. I don't really think this is a big deal and it's nearly impossible to judge the work of positional coaches unless their units take a step backward. I do think it's weird that we're hiring all these offensive guys without an OC. I'm also underwhelmed by all the names being thrown around. With McDermott being a defense guy I really hope he doesn't have the same problem that Gailey had (unable to scout or find the right coaches for the opposite side of the ball).
  14. Agreed. I will say though that any Bills fan has/had a right to be miffed that our alleged top OC candidates were Olson and Childress. Not exactly the Don Shulas of the world.
  15. I would love this, but sadly he's retired.
  16. Saying it's a spotty record is putting it nicely.
  17. Yeah, we lost that game. The best game a QB has played there in 6 seasons was a loss? GTFO. They've lost 10 times at home in the last six years by the way.
  18. He caught that many? If the over/under was 2, I'm taking the under.
  19. Before this gets out of hand...those stats are completely made up. The Bills had 14 dropped passes this year, the Redskins 11. Making the argument that Taylor is better than Cousins is very difficult as it is, but using phantom yards as the reason is absolutely ridiculous. Source for drops: https://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/team-receiver-drops-percentage/2016/
  20. And maybe if our QB threw it into the endzone once in four consecutive attempts in Seattle or didn't go three-and-out the whole fourth quarter in Oakland and Miami we would be 10-6?
  21. I don't think he's going to develop at all. It is possible that a different playbook could make a difference and give him better route trees to work with. The problem with hitting receivers in stride appears to be a rock solid flaw in his game though, and I don't think that's something you just pickup in your sixth offseason or whatever it is.
  22. One, I don't know why I was expecting him to have a better grasp of the English language. One, I love that his reason was simply because obviously he staying here and is with people he loves.
  23. I'm not disputing anything. I'm just getting tired of the, "it's always the same people...they just want to be right argument." I just want the team to be successful and make the playoffs more than I care about anything else. If by some miracle Taylor starts playing some clutch football late in games then I would shut my mouth immediately, eat crow or whatever, and happily enjoy his play. I said it goes both ways because the two extremes, The Honorable St. John from Hemet of Troy and Colonial Major Bobby don't really reflect their common desire, to see the Bills win the Superbowl. It gets annoying reading that people think there's a negative group that just wants to be right. I think after 17 years we're just getting cranky and have stopped buying into the hype. If Taylor was superman like a lot of you think, he would've carried the team in a few of their closer games and maybe we'd be in the playoffs right now. His disappearing act in Oakland and his 3-and-out parade in Miami seem to be long forgotten by most here. It goes both ways.
  24. I don't understand your point at all. His floor is RGIII's rookie season? How did that work out for RGIII?
