  1. I simply could not give away our seats for the final two games. It makes it harder being in California, so I rely on playing with stubhub throughout the week to get the best value, but I seriously could not get $5 per seat and not a single person I asked even wanted to go. Can't say that I blame either.
  2. That's a lot of words to say we have different opinions of Alex Smith and Andy Dalton. In the realm of hypotheticals, I'd be willing to wager neither would have led any recent Bills teams to the playoffs.
  3. Holy crap...it's a who's who of average or overrated QB's. With the exception of Russell, and maybe Wentz there's hardly a QB on that list any team would pine over. What are you trying to say here? We should be impressed that in 4 more games than Brady, he still only has 3 less touchdowns than him? Absolutely pathetic the lengths we'll go to to pretend someone is something they're not. The mere fact that this conversation is going on tells me he's not the answer, will never be the answer, and we'd be much better off continuing the search for the next guy.
  4. This guy isn't proud of Buffalo.
  5. You're picking language abilities to hang your hat on? Bold move.
  6. Political opinions aside, you're saying you're proud that we hated someone the most. Am I understanding that correctly?
  7. We would settle for regular IQ.
  8. There will be a lot of attempts to defend Taylor and make it all feel like he was an average QB this offseason. I simply cannot accept his 4th quarter play game after game when the team needs him to step up the most. All winnable situations against good teams have been failures. Yes, he can light up the 49ers for 45 points, crush the Browns for 30+, and beat the Cardinals big at home. I'm sure his stats look great as he's doing too little too late (failed Jets, Steelers "comebacks" this year) and crushing bad teams. Please convince yourselves that he is worthy of this contract. I'm sure it will help you get through the 18th and 19th year of no playoffs.
  9. I think we're saying the same thing...
  10. So...now Tyrod was put into a position to fail? I'm honestly struggling to keep up with these excuses. Tyrod is great because he rarely gets blown out? Isn't that just the same thing as praising him for his lack of interceptions while ignoring his lack of touchdowns? The style of play might be ultra conservative just to keep us in it, but when we're down and the other team knows its time to pass he is dreadful. Same situation, Derek Carr thrives. It's hard to defend the QB that keeps it close but can't find a way to overcome deficits.
  11. 32nd passing attack in the NFL and we're proud that he's not even in the top 10 of the most meaningless stat ever created. Are you guys even watching the games? If you are, how many times in a row do you need to see our QB completely get shut down with the game on the line?
  12. You actually believe that, don't you?
  13. What do you think he's frustrated about exactly?
  14. I read it. He's being polite. Watch the all-22. Tyrod often doesn't even look Watkins or Clay's way. He's indecisive with the ball. He only feels comfortable throwing to players facing him standing still. He doesn't understand that if Sammy is one on one he's actually open.
  15. He should have spoke up sooner. It's hard to watch. This world class athlete at QB is simply not capable of managing an offense and misuses our top WR and TE as if it were te gameplan.
  16. Infinitely? If passer rating is so important why do Brian Hoyer and Sam Bradford have a higher passer rating than Ben Roethlisberger? If passer rating is so important why are 6 of the top 10 passer rating QB's going to miss the playoffs this year?
  17. Arguments can be made that this is the best OL we've had since the drought began. It could be the very well be the best run blocking team in the league. For pass blocking...let's just say a lot the sacks stem from questionable decisions by #5.
  18. The idea that we're only a great running team because of Taylor is lunacy. McCoy and the offensive line are tremendous and the strength of out team.
  19. Every team battles with injuries. Lack of contingency plan at Safety proved to be costly. Meeks and Duke Williams shouldn't have made it out of mini camp. I think the only valid injury excuse is that we got no production out of our top two picks due to injury, and even that is debatable since many knew Shaq would miss time. I also think L. Alexander's production negates the excuse because there was no way in hell a healthy S. Lawson was going to produce that well.
  20. Deflecting? You mean how you ignored my post where I went down line by line and called you out?
  21. You really nailed it on the head with this one. With Rex Ryan, it's a different situation than most because he completely hedged his bets on having a playoff team with a championship caliber defense. He would reiterate it even in the middle of these crappy seasons. It's beyond embarrassing, and the fact that he clearly didn't put in the necessary effort to back up his claims means he needs to go. If I owned a business and promised my client that I could get the job done in 2 weeks, but it took me 4 weeks, I'd like to think they'd be upset. If they retained me for a second project and I said, "I'm extremely sorry about the delay last time, it was a fluke and won't happen again, I'll get this project done for you in 1 week" but still took 4 weeks, you better bet they're moving on. You can't over promise and under deliver. It's just unacceptable. And I know every coach talks about winning championships, but man...Rex takes it to a whole different level. The guy wrote checks he couldn't cash time and time again.
  22. I would argue that wins is the fundamental stat...settle down Francis.
  23. 1. You somehow found a way to break down the simplest post and run a muck with assumptions. 2. Please explain where this beautiful offensive attack was while trailling or tied late in the game 5 or 6 times this year? 3. How many times do you need to be told it's a passing league before you understand that without a passing threat, and down more than 7 points, you've lost the game? 4. The QB contain argument is silly. Lesean McCoy is running like crazy, as is Gillislee, and I think it has more to do with run blocking scheme and the fact that McCoy is HOF a HOF level talent 5. I DON'T SIMPLY WANT MORE PASSING YARDS ... I'm sick of reading this like I'm some buffoon who holds up the Monday morning paper and highlights the passing yards and crumples it up if we have less than 300. To be the 32nd ranked passing offense that scores does not indicate to me that we're a well balanced team that can attack teams through the air with the game on the line. It's deflating when you have must win games and your QB throws for less than 200 yards. Game plan? Inability to read the defense? No hot-routes or audibles? Can't lead a receiver? Can't find the Tight End? I don't even care anymore which it is, but it's a combination of all of them and it's the reason we're 7-7 with all our wins coming against terrible teams. and 6. We're not making the playoffs. Looks like offensive TD's is not solely an indicator for success in the NFL. Maybe we hung 40+ on the 49ers, rang in 30+ on the Browns and the Cardinals, but when the game mattered most, where was the offense?
  24. This thread is ridiculous. We have a strong running game. Insinuating anything else about the offense is crazy.
