  1. 1.) No more train whistle. Can't stand it. 2.) Allow Gate 1 for general entry. I hated it when they changed it to Press only etc. 3.) make all the wings boned rather than boneless for the masses. It ain't a wing when it boneless (white meat too) . yuck. 4.) Invite Sabretooth for a game (or two). When the sabres aren't playing, of course. He can be Billy's guest. The Sabres shoud have a street hockey game that day in one of the Lots. Or at Halftime. There would me a massive crowd for that.
  2. It will have a tough game to beat - Monday Night Football versus Dallas. I have been to 100's of games. Nothing came close to this one. ....too bad we lost on last second FG. arrrrggh
  3. I love to move a little closer in the Family Section but they are always sold out. We'd be in the sun a little more if we were closer.
  4. Jets at Lions, MNF. This increases the Bills chance to be on the road week one from 50% to 54%. I know, big deal but dem's are da numbers. :^) Source is profootballtalk.com by the way
  5. seriously, Kiper sucks at this. Every year. He is one of the worst. He is like the Farmer's Almanac of Mock Drafters. When he's wrong, no one remembers. When he's right....wow, he's soooo smart! This year, he has Allen going number 1. Please remember that one, folks. Getting the first pick right is almost always easy. This year, it will LIKELY be Darnold and it COULD be Barkley. Yet Kiper has Allen. Last year, Mike Mayock, Tood Mcshay and the great Mel Kiper got 10 out of 96 attempts right. That means, each averaged 3 1/3 picks right in round one. McShay and Kiper got the first pick wrong (The trio correctly picked 10 selections ... combined. All three hit on the two running backs selections, Leonard Fournette (Jacksonville Jaguars, No. 4) and Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers, No. 8) but they missed on the two other consensus predictions, O.J. Howard (predicted New York Jets, No. 6; actual Tampa Bay Bucs, No. 19) and Jonathan Allen (predicted Cincinnati Bengals, No. 9; actual Washington Redskins, No. 17). When's Kiper is wrong (again), please remember this in 2019. Save yourself some precious life/living time.
  6. Actually, this is not guaranteed. If, as many think, the Browns take Darnold, the Giants may take Barkley. Most of the "experts" make him the hands down best player in the draft. I chose not to make this next comment/discussion item its own thread but I have now seen two reports that the Jets did not offer the trade up deal to the Giants - only to the Browns and to the Colts (who sprinted no doubt to sign that trade agreement!). Why, I ask, did the Jets not offer the deal to the Giants? Some say that the jets did not want to trade with their home town rivals. I reject this suggestion since it would be bad trade value (pick 2 is better than pick 3) and the Giants are in another conference (a team they only play once every four years). So, why no offer? I think the Jets are convinced the Giants are no threat to pick the QB they want ahead of them. That could be Chubb but I now think the Giants are going Barkley IF he's there. If he is not, I suppose they may go Darnold (whom the Giants are rumored to be the ONE QB worth the 2nd pick....take that for FWIW). A great outcome for the Bills would be that the Giants then select Chubb. This would mean Darnold goes to the Jets but WTF, they are going QB anyway. Do any of know - for sure - which of the four QBs will eventually become a star? In any event, a very exciting 2-3 hours for Bills fans is upcoming on April 26th. Go Bills! -RichNJoisy Central NJ Bills Backers
  7. I continue to believe the key moment in the draft is pick 2 - will the Giants pick a QB? I believe the Browns will take Darnold at Pick 1 if Giants go QB, and we all know the Jets are going QB, that would mean three gone 1-2-3. Not only does that only leave one QB left of the "Big 4" but means that there is a high chance whomever the Bills like best is gone. Should we trade away the farm for our 2nd, third or fourth choice QB or sit tight and take the 5th rated QB? But, if the Giants take Barkley or Chubb, then at least one QB starts to fall. It could mean two start to fall. So, as GM, I am going to make sure I have the QB's ranked/valued/weighted for each pick number (starting with Pick 4:Browns) and be ready to speed dial my offer. There will be competition out there doing the same thing so we need to be ready to negotiate. Since I do not know whom the Bills love - and it what order - I can't be more specific. They need to be ready to hit the speed dial...period.
  8. This is not yet updated with their recent FA signings especially of Nigel Bradham. 5 years $40 mil has to have made a dent.
  9. I think thehuddlereport has removed some names as being eligible. I definitely recall Kiper being on their list in the past (he was middle of the road as I recall)
  10. here you go: http://www.thehuddlereport.com/mock.scores.shtml
  11. Kyle made about $9 mil last year. I expect a one year deal with incentives mostly based on playing time. They MIGHT give him a two year deal with a bonus which can split some of the contract to 2019. But, I would be surprised if this were not his last year. Ya never know, Ya know?
  12. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/02/09/report-brady-will-skip-otas-unless-he-gets-paid-like-jimmy-g/ The first story (now tagged as "Fake") and the subsequent story: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/02/09/the-boston-herald-likely-will-be-retracting-a-patriots-story-again/ IMO, Mike Florio has been a Cheatriot apologist , like, forever (See Deflategate) and now HE is retracting someone else's story before the retraction. Whatever. I found the reports fun to read, either way. Go Bills!
  13. No - even if Bills acquire Smith they will draft a QB in round 1. THIS IS THE YEAR TO DRAFT A FRANCHISE QB. Period.
  14. Someone, perhaps the Bills, will trade a 2nd for him. But there are a few things - like Tyrod, the Chiefs owe him a bonus if he is on the roster sometime in early March but it is"only" $2 million. So, I am sure they would like to trade him before then. Next, Bradford and either Keenum or Bridgewater will be free agents. These players are "free" (no trade needed). Same may go for Cousins. Really cheap-ish signees could be Fitzpatrick or McCown. Those two will still cost you~ $10 million however! Alex Smith will cost $17.5 million if Acquired in early March and $15.5 if acquired after March.
  15. Promo - I think you mis -read his post. "Call_of..." is already impressed. Missing punctuation can be a pain, huh? "Playoffs or not (COMMA!), I'm still impressed with McD to get this team close to the playoffs in his 1st year." See?
  16. This is not complete (okay?) but this is what I sent to my members of the Central NJ Backers this morning: "The Bills are temporarily in slot six (making the playoffs) but there is a lot of room for fluctuation. Here are the various scenarios: 1.) If the Bills beat New England (better chance of seeing God) and beat Miami in Week 17, pretty much the Bills are in (96%). 2) O.K. Let's go for the more reasonable Bills lose (and get crushed) by the Cheatriots but beat Miami in Week 17 scenario: The four LIKELY division winners are the Cheatriots, Jacksonville, Kansas City, and Pittsburgh. There are a few scenarios where the Jaguars and/or the Chiefs could fall out of 1st. The last two slots will likely be fought over by Tennessee, Baltimore, Los Angeles (Chargers), and the Bills. All are 8-6 except for L.A. who are 7-7. The Bills will make playoffs with 1 win (over Miami) and: 1.) one Ravens loss OR 2.) Tennessee wins v Los Angeles Rams THEN loses to the Jacksonville Jaguars OR 3.) Two Tennessee losses and one Chargers loss. **************** So - to underscore this: It is actually BETTER for the Bills if the Titans beat the Rams next week. Why? Because in a three-way tie among the Bills (1 more win), Titans (loss to Jaguars), and Chargers (2 wins) - the Bills win this tie breaker. I could go WAAAAAYYY into more detail but on Christmas Eve, root for: 1.) Da Bilz (good luck on that one!) 2.) The Titans (versus the Rams) 3.) The Colts (this Saturday, the 23rd versus the Baltimore Ravens) 4.) The JETSsucksucksucks (versus the Chargers) On New Year's Eve root for: 1.) Da Bilz! (Squish the Fish) 2.) The Jaguars (versus the Titans) 3.) The Raiders (versus the Chargers) 4.) The Bengals (versus the Ravens) ************************* As you can see, the Chargers have a relatively easy road to 9-7 (Jets, Raiders). The Titans have two tough games (Rams and Jaguars) and could easily end up 8-8. The Ravens have the easiest schedule (Colts, Bengals) and should end up 10-6 and in the playoffs. So, if the Bills beat Miami but lose to the Cheats, the Bills lose the tie break by themselves versus the Chargers (head to head) BUT win a three way tie break among themselves, Chargers, and Titans. The really obvious good news would be the Jets beating the Chargers or the Raiders beating the Chargers. Both teams are playing very poorly lately (Jets lost their only decent QB and have lost ever since while the Raiders have lost two in a row). If the Ravens lose one of their two easy games, then things get shuffled again. Ready? (gasp): " If Buffalo, Baltimore and Tennessee all finish 9-7, it depends which teams they lose to along the way. If the Bills beat the Patriots but lose to the Dolphins, the Ravens beat the Colts but lose to the Bengals and the Titans lose to the Rams but beat the Jaguars, the Ravens and the Titans are in. Buffalo would lose the common games tiebreaker with the loss to Miami. But if the Bills lose to the Patriots and beat the Dolphins instead, the Bills and Titans are in." Got it? No? Join the club. In past years, sixth seeds have often been the unexpected team determined in the last seconds or so of Week 17. It could come down to Oakland in LA ending around 7:30 pm New year's eve."
  17. Somebody will indeed do this hence he will more likely get a 2-3 year deal (competition for his services) . Best case for a QB-starved team is to sign Bradford and draft a franchise QB. Rookie holds clipboard for 1-2 years.
  18. I found this: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/07/21/fight-could-be-looming-over-possible-three-time-franchise-tag-limit/
  19. just to add to this post - Rivers is still in concussion protocol. Had "limited" practice today.
  20. I totally agree. I was at the game and spent several plays just following Kyle. It was like you said - he pushed into the backfield disrupting the play and made several tackles (at least one for a loss). My favorite player since his first year
  21. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000840092/article/bills-rb-lesean-mccoy-misses-practice-with-illness greeaaat.
  22. reports now state Glenn foot is "structurally sound" and will return to practice soon.
  23. FYI: I have seen no report of this Cutler signing on ESPN or Profootballtalk, etc. ....just the Yahoo link.
