  1. I wanted Anaquan Bolden last year. He ended up on Detroit and ended up with; Year Team REC YDS AVG LNG TD 2016 Lions 67 584 8.7 35 8 He's 36. But still , obviously, productive. For reference, James Lofton was 32 when he signed with the Bills in 1989. I'd love to put his veteran and still productive presence in Bills red, white and blue.
  2. For those that can't help looking at mock drafts, this guy (Jason Boris) has been one of the most consistently accurate prognosticators of the actual draft. That is still not saying much (he's , like, 44% accurate) but he became my guru once Rich Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News stopped giving us his predictions. http://www.tnonline.com/2017/apr/27/boris-makes-opening-round-picks I am thrilled he has us taking Howard. For my skills list, check out: http://www.thehuddlereport.com/thr/mock.scores.shtml
  3. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2698824-2017-nfl-schedule-release-date-team-by-team-opponents-and-more " The National Football League is prepared to announce its schedule for the 2017 regular season Thursday at 8 p.m. on NFL Network. NFL.com confirmed the release details Tuesday. The league will reveal the dates, times and television information for all 17 weeks of action during a two-hour special."
  4. This. Bills will draft DB's, WR's, and linemen (OT and DT's). I have no clue who but Bills will sign a vet QB backup.
  5. I have not forgotten this hit either. When I polled my Backer's club yesterday the result was unanimous: 1.) We remember. 2.) Kill him 3.) Spit on his dead body.
  6. Quick! Don't let him back!!! Shucks, too late, huh? PS: TRYING to find a way to bring my cooker. I got a kind of "beggy" pm to Hammer right now....... Lisa (RevnJoisy) simply can't Tailgate for 8 hours. Trying to find a way to arrive at ~ 4. I will keep ya posted. If I come with my cooker......as always..... COME HUNGRY! RichNJoisy CNJBBB
  7. My wife and I know Tybee well. During our brief "dating days", we drove to Tampa (her mom) and Fort Myers (my parents) several times and fell in love with Tybee. One stop, we ate at a bar and ordered the wings. I immediately knew they were "the real deal". I called out the cook and he admitted he was from Buffalo and had just returned from a visit and brought back some Frank's hot sauce. I will look up your link. Is there any question about enough tv's to show the Bills at Ravens game?
  8. Thanks but this is not a "start a club" option situation. I have a club member who is going to be in Savannah for one month awaiting his wife's first child. I told him I'd look into possible places for him to catch the games. I have found : Tailgate Sports Bar & Grill 11215 Abercorn StSavannah, GA 31419
  9. Does anybody have a suggestion for the best place to watch a Bills game in or near Savannah , Georgia? I haven't been able to find the best place, yet. Thanks, -RichNJoisy
  10. Fat K has passed his physical!!! woo hoo! http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-activate-Karlos-Williams/88e58ea8-573f-455f-bbf7-d85793efadef
  11. There is zero chance IMO the US Supreme Court will hear this case. In addition, there is no way they will grant a stay of his suspension until they make a decision to hear the case or not. It's finally over. Brady is suspended. :^D
  12. To mrags and simpleman: It is this type of discourse that continues to not let me lose hope in our country. You two disagree but you disagree without name calling , without disrespecting the other person's position. To the discussion in hand, I agree with both your concerns: Simpleman's concern about our 4th amendment rights. I am certain no one here wants to give anyone the right to barge into our personal space without cause. But I am sure Simpleman would agree there are grey areas and then there are more grey areas. One thing that is becoming increasingly clear these days is that being deemed as "suspicious" is indeed subjective and one's race/color/even garb impacts how one is viewed. There are no perfect solutions. My LEAN is more towards Simpleman's concerns only because the police incursion is pre-emptive and is being implemented based on concerns/worries and not on an actual incident. Obviously, no on wants to see something happen and then, after the fact, tell oneself "well, maybe if the police had patrolled that Lot they might have stopped it". But, one has to ask oneself, what is the more likely outcome? Ordinary citizens being routinely harassed by authorities or the 'stopping of an imminent terrorist act'? I worry that this is a slippery slope. So, I prefer that we police ourselves. That's my 2 cents. Thanks for your post, you two. -RichNJoisy
  13. Matt Johnson coming for tryout with Bills on Monday 4900 yards, 46 TD's, 8 ints last year for Bowling Green. Considered a "project" QB due to simple system he played in. Has some great highlight reels. (source was BillsDaily.com BTW)
  14. "Ravens forfeit one week of OTAs (June 1-3) and fined team and John Harbaugh for violating offseason rules. Team put players in pads at rookie minicamp." http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-nfl-reportedly-investigating-ravens-for-possible-cba-violation-at-minicamp-20160516-story.html (is older source) I will add the more recent source in a moment...... http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/27808/ravens-should-soon-learn-whether-theyre-being-disciplined-by-the-nfl (still not recent enough.....) https://twitter.com/Ravens now up-to-date
  15. Wow. This was unexpected. I think this is a big blow the Jets.
  16. Thanks for the link. This will be something I will remember if the Bills do well this year. I would imagine that the best form of flattery would be other teams adopting this approach.
  17. From : http://fantasy.usatoday.com/news/sport_tag/nfl Robert Griffin to see neurologist Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (concussion) has been cleared for ‘non-contact’ activity in practice, according to head coach Jay Gruden. He has no effects of a concussion but is still scheduled to see a neurologist. TIP: Griffin appears to have recovered from the concussion he suffered in the preseason game against the Buffalo Bills Thursday, Aug. 20. Even before the injury, he was considered no better than a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in deeper leagues. Source: Redskins.com 22 hours ago ******************* ..emphasis mine. Wow, the Bills defense is so powerful it even injures QB's they didn't play! I am thinking maybe it is the writer of this article who needs to have his head examined.
  18. He 's not dead! So that makes no sense. But I heard it was the Red Lady who healed him. Unfortunately, she asked that EJ be burned as payment to the God of Light. I guess there is power in Manuel Blood.
  19. OK Brady lovers - explain why the innocent Brady destroyed his cell phone. Ready.. Set..... Go! Will even ONE of you admit NOW that he is guilty?
  20. I continue to believe that Goodell will certainly not reduce the suspension to zero. Brady's supporters continue to insist this will happen but, other than repeating all their arguments (which only Brady supporters believe), NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Since everyone agrees this is not simply a matter of evidence but of public opinion, the longer this goes on, the better it is for the Brady camp - I mean, who isn't fed up with this whole process? But for people like me, my certainty that cheating took place and the integrity of the game is what matters (again, TO ME), time has not made me any less passionate that Brady be punished. Still, having said that, - as long as WE (those that believe Brady cheated) don't forget. - as long as WE (those that believe Brady cheated) boo him and yell, "Cheeeeeaaaaterrrr!" everytime we can - as long as WE (those that believe Brady cheated) bring it up at every opportunity when anything "brady" comes up at the water cooler (where ever...) ....then, the League punishment is secondary. Brady will forever be a cheater everywhere except in New England. This has made me less concerned about whatever is announced this week and how things eventually turn out in terms of the League punishment. Brady and new England cheated and his records and their records will be forever tainted. -RnJ
  21. Ummm, you want drama? Lift the suspension. The Brady supporters are in the minority. Lift the suspension and the reaction will be waaaay more dramatic than not lifting it.
  22. I am sure a lawyer or two can chime in to assist - for example, who is the plaintiff and who is the accused? I think Brady would be the plaintiff here which might impact things. In any event, having Brady on the record, under oath in a federal court would be...shall we say.....interesting?
  23. http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/13259683/nfl-players-association-fight-tom-brady-ruling-ban-stays Union plans to go to Federal court if Brady suspension not fully lifted. Good. let's have witnesses, subpoenas, etc. Get people under oath on this, especially the ball boy and the equipment manager.
  24. Finally! What seems to me to be an unbiased summary with all the options and possible outcomes. here's to good reporting! #Florioisapatriotsshill
  25. FYI: Wells to attend hearing http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/13129871/ted-wells-attend-tom-brady-suspension-appeal-hearing-nfl
