  1. Clutch kick. Maybe we should’ve kept him
  2. They have been rebuilding for years. Shannahan has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball and is doing a great job with his offense.
  3. Daboll basically just admitted that all defenses need to do is stack the box and make Allen beat them with his arm. How encouraging
  4. I was hoping that in the 4th year, McD would have this team good enough to compete for the division regardless of whether Brady or BB were still around. If we’re still hoping to squeak in as a WC team next year then this regime and probably the QB they picked aren’t what we hoped they would be.
  5. What was the issue for looking so incompetent in that situation?
  6. The only QB that matters is Allen. If he’s not the answer then I don’t care who the backup is. They won’t be the answer either.
  7. I see a lot of people saying this roster is a year away. A year away from what exactly?
  8. We decided not to put in a claim for Gordon so I would expect a hard pass on AB.
  9. Whatever you need to tell yourself.
  10. It’s easy to be an optimist when you live in paradise. In a way, I’m jealous
  11. Allen plays good and it’s because he has the keys and has taken control. Allen doesn’t play good and it’s because he’s being held back by the players, coaches or scheme. It can’t just be that he’s a frustratingly inconsistent. No sir, not the guy you proclaimed would be an MVP candidate. Can’t be.
  12. Well of course you disagree with anything that may suggest Allen isn’t the MVP candidate type of player you want him to be.
  13. I have no problem with throwing a lot. I also have no problem with given Allen the freedom to do whatever he wants at the line (I think he already has that freedom). At the end of the day though, I obviously don’t think Allen is as good as you think he is. Just the other week I posted a chart that showed Allen was one of the worst rated passers in the league when facing a blitz. So yeah, maybe with a clean pocket and enough time he’s a fine a passer, but unlucky for him QBs don’t have that luxury on majority of their snaps.
  14. I think I know who you think deserves more blame here. I probably wouldn’t disagree but I suspect you think the gap is bigger than it should be. Daboll is a problem and so is Allen. I don’t think firing Daboll magically makes Allen a better passer (you may not either)
  15. It was a bad throw. Pretty sure it was on our first drive of the game. Brown was wide open for a first down and Allen threw the ball behind him. It was the play right after the Knox drop at the sideline
  16. The blame is part Daboll and part Allen. Pretending otherwise is just foolish.
  17. Right, everything is perfect. Nothing at all to critique or work on. Being one of the worst scoring offenses is just part of the process.
  18. If instead Daboll designed a crossing route that would have gotten us a 1st down but the ball was dropped, you’d blame the receiver and say he needs to make that play right? A deep ball is a low percentage play but it was there to be made. It shouldn’t be asking too much of a guy who was drafted 7th overall to hit a wide open receiver running deep. I haven’t seen the replay of the All-22 yet but Allen needs to make those throws. I have criticized Daboll plenty but I can’t blame him when a TD was there to be had.
  19. I’m like 100% sure you’re wrong on literally all of your points. Other than that....good job?
  20. What a hilariously low bar to set.
  21. Laaaaaaaaaaame Oh look, the Cowboys offense just scored again. Go to bed and shake this loss off.
  22. Do you always make such lame arguments?
  23. Elite WRs rarely become FAs so why does it matter?
  24. You wish. And oh look the cowboys just scored.
