  1. What’s more frustrating, watching our bad offense or answering questions about it?
  2. It has nothing to do with the stats for me. I think it’s fine to make comparisons. It’s just the fact that he even bothered to ask the question knowing how McD speaks to the media. He just wanted to make a point.
  3. lol what. Since when did turning the ball over and losing to a bad team become something we’d be good with?
  4. Their defense is good (7th in points allowed and yards allowed) and we can’t match points with their offense (6th in points scored).
  5. I wouldn’t agree Sal was closer to the truth. This really shouldn’t even be a debate. How that much time can be run down in that situation is still just really, really bad. I don’t think he did. The only ones who embarrassed themselves was our offense and the coaching staff in that situation.
  6. He’s had plenty of chances to throw deep and he’s been woefully bad.
  7. You can correct me if I’m wrong because I don’t remember all 22 minutes of the conversation but I think Schopp was willing to accept that it wasn’t intentional. His beef at that point was knowing we were in a hurry up, why the play wasn’t called in quicker and if there was an issue why a TO wasn’t called. He’s obviously asking that question to point out how incompetent we were there instead of looking for a logical explanation (there really isn’t one).
  8. They must think he does a good job. How was he proven wrong here?
  9. Sal is the one in the locker room and at the press conferences asking questions and listening to answers. It’s literally his job to report things back to the audience of the station he works for.
  10. Schopp isn’t a mouthpiece for the Bills and he’s not there to make excuses. Football isn’t his favorite sport and I don’t even think he’s a fan of the team, they are just part of his job. If anything, he’s fairly unbiased when it comes to this team and it hurts the people who love this team and want to pretend everything will be fine when it generally hasn’t been. Because you say so? Heaven forbid we have a coaching staff who designs their game plans around what the players do well.
  11. Don’t want to say something that would give away our competitive advantage. Teams might then be able to stop our high powered offense.
  12. Schopp didn’t embarrass himself. In fact, I think Sal was the one who embarrassed himself. Schopp was looking for an explanation as to how something so incompetent could happen and Sal is just shrugging his shoulders and saying we goofed and that’s it. No kidding we goofed. The bigger question is why and how could someone let it happen. People hate on Schopp because he’s a douche to the morons who constantly call and trashes the Bills for being bad when they were in fact bad. He says a lot of things fans don’t want to hear and it’s the same reason those same fans hated on Jerry Sullivan.
  13. How could we move on from Tyrod when he helped end the drought and went to the Pro-Bowl!? At some point people will stop hiding behind our record as if things are fine. We have legit issues on offense and Allen is part of them. Sure, he’s shown improvement in certain areas but it’s not like he’s playing great either. I’m not saying we should move on from him this year (I’ve said the opposite actually) but if things stay the same and we miss the playoffs after such a strong start then the questions surrounding Allen and this offense are only going to pile up. I assume he’ll be on a short leash next year either way.
  14. I don’t get why people are hating on Schopp here. We looked grossly incompetent in that situation. Schopp argues whether it was intentional to kill time and if not then why doesn’t anyone call a timeout. Sal then gives his opinion that it wasn’t intentional and we (either the coaching staff or Allen) simply just messed up. Schopp has a legit argument here and Sal is simply giving his opinion on why we looked so dumb there (I don’t think he did a good job of it either).
  15. You keep investing in the offense. If Allen can’t take advantage of the added talent then hopefully the next guy we draft will. Allen is the starter this year and likely heading into next. If things stay just as they are with him then we can say it’s time to move on. Come next year the leash should be shorter.
  16. Booger makes me miss Dennis Miller
  17. Kinda answered your own question huh
  18. Don’t think you can call back to back time outs like that
  19. WCO will do that. I really want us to incorporate more of the WCO concepts into our offense. Bootlegs, rollouts, screens etc. Get Allen moving and in space with a chance for easy completions and YAC.
  20. A Jimmy G pick would make me climax
  21. This game is incredible
  22. Russ is really, really good.
