ELO? Everyone seems to be making up their own system these days. Its funny though, when Tyrod was here, a lot of people used to love quoting ESPN’s QBR metric because he usually ranked pretty high there. Same with the regular NFL QB rating. Now with Allen, those ratings are unreliable and controversial so we go with things like ELO where it looks like Allen is ranked higher. Admittedly though I’m not familiar with ELO or who created it.

I can’t say whether or not he was calling plays but this is common practice even for HCs who don’t.

Maybe it was mentioned during the broadcast and I missed it but how do you know he was calling plays?

Turning the roster over and making the playoffs 2 of his first 3 years is definitely a great start to being one of the leagues best HCs.

Some of you can’t stand the fact that the media doesn’t give us the same ball washing they do for other teams and players. It grinds gears so much. I didn’t have a problem with Collinsworth and can’t think of a time when I did. If Allen ever becomes one of the elite QBs then you’re going to love all the praise he gets from the same people you say you can’t stand.
