I don’t think 300 yards is some magic number Allen needs to hit in order to be a franchise QB. Let’s be real, we’ve seen plenty of scrubs hit that milestone. I just want to see Allen play lights out for an entire game. So far him and the offense have had stretches of great play. Give me 60 minutes where Allen bullies the opposing defense and has his way with them.

You managed to cherry pick one amazing player and think it proves a point? Did you bother to look at the rest of the QB stats from that year? Other than Marino, only 1 QB had more than 28 TD passes. Only 6 had more than 20. Including Marino, only 3 QBs had more than 4000 passing yards. Only 9 QBs had a completion percentage greater than 60. And finally, only 4 QBs had a rating more than 90. Now compare that to QBs from last year and tell me there isn’t a big difference.

I would get rid of divisions all together and just have 2 conferences. You play everyone in your conference once and 1 team from the opposing conference. The top 6 records from each conference make the playoffs. No more nonsense of having teams with better records being a WC team.
