Ay the end of next year it will be time to be critical of the job the new crew has done. At that point the will have 3 of their drafts and the opportunity to spend some FA money.

The glass half full is that the O line is a decent run blocking unit. The protection game plan will be the deciding factor. I think we will see a lot of screens, short throws to big TEs and WRs. That will set up the 4/5 shots down field using hitch and goes and QB roll outs, and will keep the other teams honest.

They will both wait until the offenses are working well enough for them to be successful. TT and peterman can be planed for and contained. JA and BM both can make so many different plays it can not be easily game planed for.

Considering the browns are 1 and 31 coming into the game, they likely worked had on game planning to look good.

My biggest concern about JA is the head first dives.

Holmes did lead the WRs in TD receptions last year. I thought he was under used. Funny with all the talk of how bad the Bills are at WR, but all the interest in in the bottom of the roster guys...

I think that what sold McBean on Allen was not the the football ability as much as the type of guy that they were getting. Being big, fast, strong, and smart were just bonuses. After all Rosen is a great prospect...

There was an easy catch that was dropped, 2 no option throw aways, a pass interference that was not called, and a long TD pass that many good WRs would have made. The 2 miscommunications arnt too bad when its the 3rd unit in preseason. I think JA showed well throwing the ball, and his 30 yards of rushing was good too.

It sure is nice having 3 QBs that looked good.

NO McBean would never use a 1st to get a player who will get the biggest contract any D player has gotten.

Right, Allen was bought with house money. Had a better than normal draft pick wise, no 2nd but 2 #1s. And no mortgage to pay down the road.
