Everyone went ballistic on him the last few weeks. Now that it’s obvious it was actually Dorsey all along many fans will have cognitive dissonance. It’s tough mentally to be THAT wrong about something. Let the fans work through it. But some will never let it go.

McDermott is a man of faith first and foremost. Everything he does must be seen through that lens, before football even. Tonight, he is praying. And he has not lost faith, unlike many, who have been saying vile things about him. I'm putting my name down tonight as one who did not lose faith in him during this dark night of the soul. I believe in him and whatever plan there is for this football team. I believe tomorrow is the 1st win in an unlikely run to the playoffs.

Some people have had a bone to pick with McDermott dating back to 2017 when they didn’t like the choice. You know who they are because every time anything bad happened these last 6 years they pointed it at McD and gave all positive credit to someone else like Daboll. Now that things went south the pitchforks are out and they point at him at default with ridiculous things like “low IQ” and “dictator”. Just like many people have a weird hate towards Allen since the draft, some people have a weird hate towards McD. But now it’s just the cool thing to do, but it doesn’t really make sense.

Everyone here is such a wimp. Let’s whoop the jets and go into the bye week with a winning record.

Let’s not put the cart before the horse on McDermott. You were right about Dorsey being a variable. Let’s see how the offense responds to a simpler game plan before we blow up the best thing that happened to us in 25 years.

Belichick = Jauron is a ridiculous narrative. I don’t remember Jauron shutting down the Bills offense to win a Super Bowl with the Giants. Those Pats teams were stacked and had the NFL/refs on their side for whatever reason. But Belichick is and always was a defensive genius. I believe what you’re seeing now is Belichick the average GM finally coming to fruition.

Same with the Pats game. Multiple calls on their final drive kept them in it. A lot of what we talk about on these forums is not what really happened out there.

And you’ll often see the makeup call later on in the drive turning a 2nd and 5 into a 2nd and 10. But the damage has already been done and they are already in field goal range. I also noticed the phantom pass interference that stopped the clock. Would’ve been a spike with a few ticks left. It’s game manipulation that always makes me weary of the Bills never winning a championship. I guess I just don’t get it. Why not rig it FOR a special talent like Allen? Why send him to London to get hung out to dry with jet lag?

How about that Murray penalty that wiped out the Knox td? It’s not about yards or number of penalties, it’s about the timing.

Allen does whatever it takes to win. He’ll run when it’s available and if his team is lacking, he runs. He is now being coached to only run when there’s no other option. This requires a great offensive system and weapons. Since we’re lacking that again, and Allen can’t run. Then we’re right here where we are. 4-3. I hope we turn around soon so we don’t look back on Allen-Mahomes 20 years from now and say “man, if only Allen had what the Chiefs had. He ALMOST overcame it.”

It WAS and issue the last 2 games definitely. Bad karma coming the NFL’s way for that. But today showed that we lack offensive weapons and our offense lacks creativity. Defense is hurting.

I think it’s becoming clear after reading through this thread, that you need to have a distorted view of reality to think Josh Allen is not a great QB.

The fault of Frazier and special teams coach. McD got rid of them both. A man who fixes the things wrong with his system. That makes McD a GREAT coach.

They don’t know what winning looks like. How many perennial winning season did the Ravens or Steelers have compared to their SBs? 10:1? Pats and Chiefs are serious exceptions, and whether people want to ignore it or not, the Pats SBs have been tied to cheating. These fans play the game of extremes. If you are not as good as the very best, then you are no good at all. A projection of their own internal low self esteem.

It’s fans who don’t know winning, telling us we will never win a championship.
