  1. Other than Dawkins at LT, not sure who comprises the other four positions. Will be interesting to see how Castillo works with Daboll to get the line squared away. Castillo is supposed to be good...we'll see.
  2. Something tells me that Tre' White won't have to go back. He'll get paid in a few short years just based off last season. Can't wait to see more of him and watch him turn into a shut down corner.
  3. Does the offending customer get whacked?
  4. I doubt Shady liked Rico around week 6 when he still didn't have a TD. I would guess that this could be attributed to the zone blocking scheme that the OLine was having problems grasping, initially. The OLine is still a big question, such as who starts in every position other than LT (should be Dawkins) and will the blocking schemes play to the strengths of the linemen? The latter I would assume so, just based on the article even though that wasn't mentioned. The only problem was Rex confused his own defense, but maybe that's what you meant
  5. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/06/12/buffalo-bills-lesean-mccoy-brian-dabol-new-england-patriots/ <snip> McCoy later talked about Daboll’s offensive system, comparing it to that of New England while also stating that it took “a lot of studying” to learn the coordinator’s playbook. “He’s had success with the Patriots, he’s had a lot of success with Alabama. We’re going to run the ball, for sure,” McCoy said. “You’ll see a lot of similarities from us and the Patriots, because that’s where he comes from. . . He’s always looking for matchups. If he can get a running back on a linebacker, we’re going to take it. If we can get [Charles] Clay on a particular linebacker, we’re going to take it. Even with Ben, he’s a big target, [Kelvin] Benjamin, we want to get him the ball. “He’s always trying to confuse the defense and find the mismatch. Most offenses that are successful, that’s what they do. That’s what they do. We’re going to run the ball in different formations, keep guys off-balance, be on the attack, that’s more just high tempo offense. We’re going to be similar. We’ll see. I’m excited to be here, I’ll tell you that. At first, the offense was like ‘oh,’ it was crazy, it was a lot of plays. A lot of studying for a great cause and a great outcome.” McCoy may not be done studying the new offense, as according to Daboll, his offense will “evolve” based off of his players’ strengths. While speaking to the media in May, Daboll revealed that the team’s offense will “constantly change based on what we think our players do best.” McCoy is incredibly excited to play under Daboll. McCoy was one of the few Buffalo players who succeeded in Dennison’s offensive system, rushing for 1,138 yards and six touchdowns in 2017. Perhaps he’ll be able to improve these numbers while playing in a system that he’s truly confident in. Hopefully this is more than just happy talk and Shady saying what is the "politically correct" thing to say. I don't worry about Shady's production since he'll be the focus in most systems; I'm more concerned about the QB and how the offense will be played based on his skillset. We should start to know more in two months, though at the very least, it does not appear that a system will be force fed on the players by an OC thinking his system means more than the players executing it.
  6. Clear the table as soon as the customers finish their meal and walk away, don't let the dishes sit for long as that is a table that can't be used for the next customer. Also, be quick about clearing the table, don't screw around...get to the table, clear the dishes, and take it to the washing area in back. And yes, be on good terms with cooks, other servers, and especially managers. I don't miss working at a restaurant, even though it was a long time ago when I was in high school.
  7. It was a tough call between Zay Jones and John Miller, but Zay is my choice. I think he'll break through this year.
  8. CAPS win!! 2018 Stanley Cup champs. Final game 5 score 4-3, and win series vs VGK 4-1.
  9. Vegas won't go away easily. Caps were weak on defense the second period.
  10. Lets' go CAPS, finish it tonight. And another stupid pre-game theatre in Vegas.
  11. Time to slash the NIH budget. There, of course, will be a huge collective liberal pant load, but any rational person will see that this is yet another example of how big, bloated government wastes money.
  12. Yep, Andrew Wilkow has mentioned this on his radio show several times. Not just CA, but NY, ILL, and FL; all influenced by large urban centers. I'd throw MD and VA in as well, which are heavily influenced by the DC metro area.
  13. Because the 'rats are not interested in America winning, or even doing what is best for America and the citizens. No, for the 'rats it's all politics all the time...country be damned.
  14. Like a downtrodden stock, sentiment for the Bills is poor. Winning will change this. Let me guess - the Pats are picked to go 14-2, or somewhere near that.
  15. Good post. Don't disagree with any of this.
  16. Same here. Great organization that has brought light to the cockroach infestation. I suspect this goes all the way up to proxy ex-pres Obama and comrad ValJar. I'm not holding my breath that they even have charges brought against them, but they should go to jail. Hillary should be in an adjoining cell just so they all suffer more (Obamas and Clintons hate each other).
  17. Let the liberal circular firing squad commence. They're going to end up quickly outing each other in a way that would take Republicans years to do.
  18. The Bengals are ranked #4; their helmet and uniforms are probably the ugliest in the league.
  19. The Caps are playing like a well oiled machine; fast and aggressive with very good defense. They took a page out of VGK's book and are using it against them. IMO, in the past they were focused on offense and the defense let them down; that has changed this post season. In post game interviews a couple of Caps players have mentioned that they're trying some different things to keep Vegas off balance, and it's working. I suspect that Vegas is not used to a team playing this aggressively against them and actually being down in a series with their backs against the wall...they don't know how to handle it, but we'll see Thursday night where it is a must win for them. I personally think VGK loses. I agree with @ShadyBillsFan that the refs are letting them play and not trying to decide the game, which is a refreshing change from, say, any team vs the Patriots*. The refs may miss a tripping or cross checking call (such as Reaves' cheap goal) here and there but I don't think they're letting anyone cheat.
  20. Reaves is a punk. He should be gone for game 5, too.
  21. Yeah, it's almost like this is a completely different VGK team (and not in a good way) that sliced through Winnipeg.
  22. I think a good number of this Caps team were drafted by McPhee. Will be interesting to see how VGK responds next year to this season's success.
  23. VGK getting destroyed. Safe to call this one for the CAPS?
  24. That was a penalty!? Carlson slid in front, no intentional tripping.
  25. The whole Super Bowl winning team, as well as other pro sports champions, visiting the White House should end. Mixing sports and politics is like mixing oil and water. Too divisive no matter who is in office.
