See i'm not sure, when he got rid of Dennison he used nearly the exact same line regarding his future with the team in the end of season press conference. Something along the lines of, he wasn't going to get in to it. Thought that was interesting.

This is actually laughable, did you even bother to check this? Allen the 2nd half of the regular season: 15 pass TDs, 4 ints, 3 rushing TDs and 262 Total YPGs avg Mahomes the 2nd half of regular season: 16 pass TDs, 5 ints, 3 rushing TDs and 282 Totatl YPG avg Does Mahomes get figured out too?

Was discussing it in another thread with Gunner but the lack of experience with Dorsey showed throughout the season. I couldn't remember during the season when they ran a quick pass game plan, like what the Bengals were running to help out their OL. The reason I couldn't remember was it was against the Rams, game 1. They softened up their defense then they aired it out. How could that type of game plan not worked again? Especially against the likes of the Jets. Or yesterday in the 2nd half.

And I think for me, it's what I find the most frustrating. I can't remember the Bills ever running a quick game offense, this season. I remember we've talked about how getting Josh a few quick completions used to settle him down.

It definitely could be Josh but then a part of me thinks it's Dorsey's scheme and this 'big play' vertical offense. And I'm not sure he's being held accountable for missing the wide open guys? So is that Dorsey too, could be. You look at Zac Taylors offense last night and so much of it was very very smart and guys were wide open and not NFL wide open, literally wide open. I don't know if Josh is like Joe B and can make reads as quickly, I know he can make the throws.

It's McDermott's scheme, it's primarily a Cover 3. He's the architect. There's nothing wrong with that scheme. Frazier comes from a Tamp 2 background but he's more than capable of running variations of Cover 2 or a Cover 3 scheme. I'm not convinced the scheme needs to change. It's a lot of everything, to my eyes. Play calling and the game planning was not great yesterday. Then's there's the players. They still have to preform. Poyer played his worst game I've ever seen as a Bill. And within McD's scheme it requires intelligent and instinctive players in secondary. We know Tre is a shell of his former self, Elam is a man CB still learning zone, Dane Jackson lacks the instincts and so on and so on.

Tough sell that, with how much talent is needed on this Bills team and then giving up a 1st round pick for Payton.

I do think Beane moreso than McD should be the one seeing himself out the door. It's pretty close though. These 2, for some reason that can't be explained, just do not want to help Josh out or worse, have no clue how to. There only solution seems to be finding RBs who they say they want to use as pass catchers and then proceed not to because the OC either is incapable or the player isn't good enough. I don't even think getting rid of Frasier will change anything. This is McD's defense just so we are clear.

They still have the better elite options AND they went after OL in FA and then still drafted OL. They just prioritised Borrow by getting him weapons, via the draft and then protecting him, via FA. The Bills haven't done anything like that, besides getting Diggs.

I think that's all a bit overly optimistic. How can you know you'll get Tre White back to being Tre? It may not happen. Who knows what we will get from a 34 year old Miller coming off an ACL. So no improvement there. As far as Poyer/Singletary taking team friendly deals, there is not a chance Poyer does and there's no need to bring back Singletary with Cook/Hines. All of this ignores how badly the OL/DL played and that there are players who are FA's will need to be replaced there. Where does the improvement come from there? Where do the Bills add more weapons for Josh? I agree with the OP, Beane has A LOT to do this offseason and based on track record alone I would be a bit concerned.

Let's look at who's left in the 4 remaining games: Cinci - Have 2 legit #1 receivers both elite weapons and a very very good #3. You could argue that Hayden Hurst is comparable to Knox. SF - Have an elite RB and and elite WR and another borderline elite WR. Would also argue Kittle is elite. Eagles - Have 2 legit #1 receivers both elite weapons. Also have an elite RB in Sanders and Goedert is very very good. KC - they are probably the outlier, with Kelce being the only elite weapon. He is the best TE in football though, so that's something. And until last offseason they had 2 on offense. So yeah, not many teams, except 3 of the 4 remaining teams and that's the take. Sure, there are teams in the NFL that have 1 and some have none but not the best teams and this Bills team is severely lacking elite talent and that's on both sides of the ball. You know what all these other teams have in common as well. They have elite players in the trenches. The Bills do not and again it comes down to drafting. Beane has not drafted an elite player besides Josh and he's done nothing to help him out.

Funny take this. They literally gave him no help and he still carried this team to 13-3. He had 1 weapon and no OL to protect him. It got so bad with his weapons they went to guys who were out of the NFL. Nah sorry, the FO failed this team. Beane hasn’t drafted a player of note, in 4 drafts.

That doesn't answer any thing I put, I see you are just ignoring points that don't agree with your take. What they average home or away has nothing to do with me pointing out that you are making claims and then ignoring when Cincy or KC match those same claims.

I mean... and this was only 3 weeks ago... And you think the Kansas City offense is more consistent when it's struggled against the likes of Houston and Denver in recent weeks?

The thing about this is, the Chiefs, Chargers and Bengals are thinking the same thing. Those aren't elite defense on those teams. They each have pieces, much like the Bills, and have the ability to win plays but ultimately they are looking at their offenses and QBs to blow teams away. As opposed to the 49ers, who are absolutely looking to their defense to keep them in games. The Bills this season were kept under 20 points once. One time. And it took a ridiculously hot game in Miami for it to happen. The reality is for most defenses you aren't going to keep this Bills offense under 20. Slow it down a bit, sure, but you better be preopared to put up points against this team.

Yea it all seems to have changed with Hamlins condition changing. He's ok, so now we can be pissed off and feel hard done and all of that stems from the fact they are certain they were going to beat the Bills.

I get the Bengals and Bengals fans are upset but really all that's changed for the Bengals rules wise is the coin flip. Go out and beat the Ravens, and let's be honest they should be able to do that considering their QB situation, and literally nothing changes for them. There was no way they could be awarded the victory having played all of 8 mins in a game, so it was going to have to come down to win %. That being the case, they had no shot at the 1 seed and still could get the 2 seed. I don't really so why they are upset. A part of me thinks the angst from Bengals fans now is that Hamlin appears to be ok and recovering well. Making it seem like they could have finished the game because everything turned out ok.

Yea, after what happened with Christian Erikson, who left the pitch breathing on his own and was awake an hour later so slightly different, there is no way the NFL was going to carry on with the game. I think UEFA got it massively wrong and basically gave the Danes an ultimatum. Those players were no where near ready to play and that was after Erikson was awake and able to communicate to his teammates. If the NFL went ahead and continued the game or even tried to play the game the next day, with Hamlins condition not changing, the backlash would have been massive.
