  1. Starbucks or Peets are my go-to's.
  2. Glad I went out w the wife tonight and got a buzz. Seems like a lot of overreaction
  3. Not really. Umberger had the puck and got his bell rung because he didn't have his head up when he received the pass. That would be like Shady getting destroyed in the hole w/o seeing the linebacker coming. It sucks, but hey, head on a swivel.
  4. That's weird. I went to school up there and even worked part-time for a local MHP operator. I never heard the accent anywhere close to that. As you say, it must be 'extreme.' I remember Tilly saying her family was X'th generation.
  5. I thought it was really well done. No clue where they came up with those accents, though.
  6. Same here. I like to think a sushi meal is healthy, but at the quantity I put back, I doubt it.
  7. We went out for a sushi lunch last weekend w/o the customary sake. I may have been hungover. I couldn't believe how cheap it was.
  8. Yup, from the bus station it would be a 10-15 min walk max.
  9. Right downtown on Ellicott Street I believe.
  10. Not a song, but you get the point. Side note, this was a weird ad campaign.
  11. They are paid by the team. No sure they're that objective.
  12. This thread is full of people Schopp has hung up on, isn’t it?
  13. Normally I'd agree with this, but it certainly seemed like there were "sides" with Allen. I remember quite a bit of "deal with it, he's your QB now" rhetoric after the draft with the whole Josh v Josh debate.
  14. Wife enjoys it so I watch it. There's some cringe worthy stuff in that.
  15. Seriously. Aaron Rodgers trying to be a man of the people.
  16. Interesting. Between the soil and the climate, reds are difficult it would seem. Some of the wine makers we've met on visits look at it as a positive though. They can screw around with different varietals and not be pigeonholed for one specific type. Everyone still seems to be looking for the 'best' one.
  17. That's really cool. I've been down a few times but haven't really branched out past NVA. Virginia makes some really solid wines. You're right about NY, tough to do reds here. If you're ever in the Finger Lakes, try Forge. Aside from some legit world class riesling, they have a decent pinot (at least for NY).
  18. Yup. Then again, you don't become a billionaire by 'keeping it real.'
  19. An average nobody. Living the rest of his life like a schnook.
  20. I've eaten a lot of Impossible burgers. They're good. I'd agree with you, best non-meat burger by a mile. Better than the Beyond Burger.
