  1. No clue. I'm not suggesting it was a great game plan. Just hard to evaluate given how the 1st half unfolded.
  2. I didn’t think Daboll called a bad game. Some bad luck for sure early on. Tough to judge him on a 4-to first half.
  3. You know Rosenhaus texted him the market dried up. Followed by another text that said, "read this."
  4. Agreed about the series. As far as I'm concerned, there's only three branches of the Jack Ryan tree; The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games and Clear & Present Danger. All other miss the mark.
  5. Agreed. He's been really good, actually.
  6. I'm betting there's something to the whole "RFAs" are holding everything up. Gotta hope so.
  7. Did this seem semi-legit, or was it just banter between the guys? Because I'd personally drive Risto to Detroit for a 25-goal winger.
  8. 100%. I've never had an issue with lighter fluid imparting a bad taste. It's slightly quicker than a chimney and easier (I'm lazy).
  9. LOTM is my favorite movie. The Camerons Monument speech in the graveyard, while not "dusty," is up there too. Can't tell you how many summer vacations I tried to make Chingachgooks weapon w/o success.
  10. Djokovic never did himself any favors early in his career. He was notorious for questionable injury breaks during tight matches and of course, how many times does a man bounce the ball before he serves?!? Crap like that didn't help pick up fans who were already spellbinded by Roger & Nadal. But to be fair, that was 10+ years ago. Does he try too hard to get the crowd to like him? Yes. Does his grass eating celebration at Wimbledon make you cringe? Kinda. But he crashed the most popular men's rivalry ever (arguably). I don't recall the Rafa quote, but it doesn't surprise me. He's the classiest athlete I've ever come across. I've always appreciated Nadal's interactions with Novak more than Federer's. It seems pretty apparent Nadal has accepted him as a peer and equal, something Federer hasn't done. I'll be in the minority, but I'll be happy if/when he passes Fed.
  11. Did you catch the Steve Dale interview this week on BBC (maybe Sky)? What a f-ing crook.
  12. Tim Horton's coffee is quite bad.
  13. Based on the net take home, I'm assuming he won the $5k per week for life? Aren't those really a 20-year guaranteed payout or until he dies?
  14. One thing I learned in the whole Luck retirement saga is the guy behind this Twitter account stole the idea from Roger Sherman from The Ringer.
  15. Chad Kelly's history suggests he has a problem "playing nice with others." He's been kicked off a team at every level for doing something stupid. Evidently enjoys pissing on his own cleats more than the average joe.
  16. Not so sure I'd knock his drive. The guy played with a lacerated kidney.
