Just saw this myself as I was clicking around my usual sites at work. The article didn't reveal much other than speculation about these ownership groups but I feel like we have heard this song before...so I am not sure how reliable any of the information is. All I know is that if it is true, sounds like good news for us! I may not live in Buffalo but I sure want the Bills to keep living there.

I don't want to sound like a Debbie downer here, but he sounded pretty confident last year that he would be back to his old self, only to get put on IR. So I will Billieve it when I see it. Hopefully he shows me a thing or two and puts Sanchez on his rear a few times come week one.

It isn't "very good" but you are missing the point. The first season Gailey was here, he wasn't even putting "his team" on the field. It was a bunch of guys he inherited. So you can almost throw the whole first season away. If you took a job managing a construction site and there were already a bunch of terrible workers employed there, how much would you really get accomplished?? I am pretty sure you would want to hire some new people who are better. Also, the defense was horrible when Gailey got here as well. He obviously gave the wrong man the job (Edwards) and now he is being replaced as well. I am not saying he is a HOF coach, but he is a good coach for sure because he has made this team viable enough again where FAs are willing to come and play. After this season we will see how good he really is now that he has had a chance to trim some fat and build his own roster. I guess some people are just going to believe what they want based on what a W-L record from 2 years ago means to them.

It is probably easier for a coach like Lee to spot what he is doing wrong than it is for Fitz to figure it out on his own. But I agree, he must have known he was better at certain passes than others so why not seek a way to improve? I guess it is what it is now

Aren't we all Bills fans? Is it wrong that I like Fitz? I do. That doesn't mean I wouldn't take an upgrade if there was one available. The off-season is starting to bore some people enough to start flame wars apparently.

That losing record also belongs to the teams he played for. How many of those losses were clearly because of how Fitz played? The guy is hardly the greatest QB of all time, but I think he can get the job done and he is certainly the best option the Bills have on their roster at the moment. I support Fitz but I will admit that it is time to show us that baby everyone keeps talking about or start looking for someone who can.

And i don't recall PTR saying he was going to MAKE you do anything so you must have put that one together in your own mind(twisting words is best left to the women). This, of course is assuming you know what AWOL means but that may be giving you too much credit: Case in point: How in the hell were the Jets one play away from winning the Super Bowl? Don't you have to be IN the Super Bowl to be one play away from winning it?? I mean please do correct me if I am wrong but I remember the Jets going 8-8 and missing the playoffs entirely. When the Jets brought in Tebow, nobody was nervous here. In fact the only one nervous is Mark Sanchez who just realized that he is going to end up loosing the starting job to a guy who can't throw a football.

All I know is that no matter what happens at this point for the rest of the day, This was great fun. Good signing in my opinion. The guy plays a role on special teams and he was competent when filling in for injuries at receiver last year. I highly doubt they spent a large amount of money on this. If better things come along through the Draft or FA, I am sure Gailey will make the right choice. Special Teams is important too.

It will probably be a phone interview anyway so I wouldn't worry about that. I could be wrong though.

Ummm...no. This is your opinion. You are not a medical doctor, you do not know the extent of either injury so everything you are saying is purely speculative. Comparing a shoulder injury to an ankle injury and how each pertains to the position that is played is apples to oranges and there are going to be different recovery times for each of them depending on a lot of things, including how the injury is being treated. To just label Bell as "injury prone, he's done because the other guy got healthy faster" is ignorant. You are entitled to your opinion but your logic is flawed.

After the last 10 years, I would sign up for ANY scenario that had the word "playoffs" in it. Hopefully this defense can find a way to pull together and overcome injuries. That or we could go out and sign a few Jedi free agents
