+1. It is hard to do so. But We Need a Drew Brees type of QB I believe here. Someone who has won, still young and can put a face on the franchise. It's exactly what the Bills need. Unfortunately it's a QB driven league and QB's like Brees will probably never hit the FA Market anymore...

They are both idiots in different ways. Ralph is Cheap and hasn't brought in any young talent to the front office, to the move this franchise into the 21st Century. Instead he looked to the wrong people, Like Marv Levy, and Russ Brandon for answers. Biggest mistake was not getting a New GM after Donahoe was shown the door. Dan Snyder is just an idiot, because he wants to win and spends money foolishly to do so. He has no football sense whatsoever. He's a buffoon and the Redskins will continue to fail as an organization because of Dan. I wonder how many millions he's thrown out the window to try and win games. It's gotta be ridiculous.

Pegula mentioned how we screwed up last season, I don't have the article to back it up. But from what I heard, He was upset we let Tallinder and Lydman walk, and basically Inaction on Managements part to upgrade the team in the offseason. He is a fan and passionate about bringing us a Cup. That may bring back some Ex-Sabres if he feels their worth bringing back. I'd personally love to Bring back Biron, Dumont and Briere. Yeah I know. The Latter 2 are probably a Pipe Dream...

Regardless of Modrak's board, Nix has the Final Say in the Draft. Buddy's in charge. It's up to him to get it right. For his sake, he better have the best draft of his career this season. And he's gonna need to go out and Sign BIG NAME FAs if this team even wants to improve. I'm not saying go Sign Jason Taylor or Tomlinson. But Good young pro bowl caliber talented players who are gonna be good for next 5-7 seasons. This means they may need to overpay to get them, but if they don't, they will never get out of the top 10 of the draft. That's how bad the Bills are. This can be turned around. It's up to Buddy to be Aggressive and assertive in bringing in these type of players to get the Bills in contention for the playoffs.

I Agree with you. This is their last chance before losing me as a fan, and they better make some damn good progress. I simply won't stand by and support and inferior product on the field. Buddy Nix is on the Clock and he better be making the greatest decisions he's ever made in his short career as GM this March-April. He's gotta go after and sign the Big Name free Agents, even if that means overpaying them. This team can't simply be built through the draft with all the holes the Bills have. He's gotta get impact players out of the 2011 draft that will come in and start on this team. The 3rd Pick should be on the field come September and be an immediate contributer to the Team. Agreed, but it comes down to Buddy Nix. Buddy Nix must make great strides in bringing in talent in order to get this team somewhere. I don't think it's Chan or the coaches. It's not having the players. That rests solely on Nix. He's the GM in charge of Football. He's on the clock. I point my finger at him. If we have a repeat of last offseason, bringing in middling FA and non Impact draft choices, then its his head that should role right out of OBD...

The Bills MUST go after Big Name Free Agents in order to improve the team. I know this goes outside the box/Buddy Nix's thinking, yada, yada yada. The excuses are BS. We need BIG help in order to compete in this division/league. Yes you build through the draft, but the Bills Need to persue Big names in order to attract others down the road. The whole landscape needs to change. In order to change the culture and the way the NFL sees the Bills, it MUST CHANGE.

According to Buddy we're 3-4 Defense. From what I read I believe we're gonna be looking at LB and probably improving that position via Draft and FA. Now that being said. We'll take the best available player according to them no matter the position. So I could see us going for a Big Defensive lineman like Dareus at 3 if they deem him best player at that pick on the board.

The guy was cut, then brought back in because we cut Trent Edwards. He was 7th round fodder and just fills a roster spot. Bottom line. The Bills only have 1 QB on the roster. Meaning: We NEED A QB!!!!!!

Buddy was here albeit as a scout, but he should have had a clue that he actually needed to go out and sign impact free agents to make this team better, and the whole Trent Edwards thing was a joke too. These guys seriously need to alter their offseason strategy. Yes it's not up to me or you, but if the Bills plan on competing for a playoff birth they need to get impact free agents and hit on every draft pick this season. Exactly. I doubt Lee Evans is going anywhere. His contract isn't outrageous and even if someone else emerges, he is a great insurance policy and has the most experience on the team at WR. Easley has done nada in the NFL. Hope he becomes the second coming of Andre Reed. But putting all your hopes in Marcus Easley is ridiculous. Waaay too early...

+1 Buffalo Bills. Good to see them go after a guy with Coaching experience. Good start to the offseason. Hopefully we can reel in some Impact FAs and have a solid draft. I'd love to see this team compete against the Jets and Pats next season... I hope Buddy goes outside the box this offseason and realizes it's gonna take more then just drafting players to get this team somewhere. He needs to go out and sign the Impact FAs to get us back on track. Teams can go from 4-12 to 12-4 with doing the SMART Things... As far as I'm concerned he's on the clock this offseason and needs to do a 180 when it comes to FA.
