  1. Yeah, not so sure that's a good idea. He seems to have some demons to work out. I can understand being frustrated but that's ridiculous.
  2. Yeah, really good thread here. Lets add to the win. Bills R football team!
  3. Ooh yeah. Go Bills! and take the Sabres with ya!!!
  4. Maybe him winning 2 consecutive Superbowls and the fact the Broncos were usually always in it. Maybe that makes him credible? I don't really know though hmm...
  5. OMG we don't even know how the Bills rank this guy. Lets wait till this offseason before we can really speculate as to what's gonna happen. The Bills had a chance last offseason to draft "A Big Time QB" Obviously we didn't because we knew that they all sucked where we ended up drafting. Tebow, Clausen, McCoy... The draft is depending where we end up and who the best available player is there. If it's a QB the Bills view as the second coming of Tom Brady or whatever, then I'm sure we'll make the attempt to draft, but remember Buddy's Philosophy. We draft the best player available depending on where we draft. Who knows if we'll win again or not. I'm still sticking to my 3-13 prediction. So not sure where that will put us. So this topic is basically moot until after this season. I understand the hype around it and everything. So much can happen between now and next years draft in April. What if Luck gets hurt or has a career ending injury? Anything can happen...
  6. Fitz is just a stop gap for the time being. I like him alot as our QB right now. This team has more holes than swiss cheese in it. In NO WAY has or will he ever be more than a back up QB option. The Bills need a franchise QB. Obviously not on our current roster. We have a long way to go to become a winning football team. One that can compete in the AFC East and the Playoffs. Fitz is a good stop gap while we get other positions in order. But in no way can you look down the road and say Fitz is gonna take you where we need to be.
  7. That's awesome, lol. Haven't had a good laugh in a while.
  8. I hope someone comes out of this 2010 draft and shines. It's starting to look bad. Scary bad. Not one impact player in the bunch...
  9. NFL - Bills NHL - Sabres MLB - Red Sox NBA - Celtics
  10. It's a Bad football team. You're a bad football team when you can't find ways to win. They have become more competitive in recent weeks. But you gotta look from the top to bottom of the organization and see where the weak spots are. 1. The ownership. Ralph is... oh god. I'm not gonna go there. 2. General Manager. - Rookie GM. Good scout, built the SD Chargers. Had an entire year to be with the Bills again. Rather be sleeping at the beginning of FA rather than sending big contracts to Peppers and Dansby to make this team better. Alot of blame I put on him for not standing up and telling Ralph the way it is. He saw how bad this team was and should have already known what are weak spots are. Not sure if this is a marriage of convience because Ralph knows him, or he really wants to build a winner. Re-signing Chris Kelsay really put a black mark on this guys image. The 2010 draft appears to be joke. Not one impact player has come out of it yet. The jury is out... 3. Head Coach. - Seems to be getting the best out of the offense with the talent he has. Still haven't seen any 2010 draft pick make any impact on this team. Should have known Edwards was a bust. I like that he switched the Defense to 3-4, but I blame both Buddy and him for not bringing in the personel needed to make this change and purging the personel that didn't fit that mold. Had a whole training camp. Not really sure if he made the right cuts on this team. 4. Defensive Coordinator. - The Jury is out. Our Front 7 is basically a joke. He doesn't really have the front 7 to make this work. Give him 5 new starters in the front 7 and then will be able to know if George Edwards belongs coaching in the NFL. So there you have it. We need alot of work folks, believe it. This team isn't going nowhere until they make a big splash in FA and the draft. We gotta hit on every player in next years draft and they need to sign impact FA players ala Peppers and Dansby. Not doing so will keep us in the bottom 5 for years to come. But it is the NFL and we can turn the boat around. You just gotta make changes and keep the talent you acquire in order to do so.
  11. Wow, what are they waiting for? The guy was a force in pre-season. Yeah I know I just swore there, lol.
  12. no way. You take the best available player with our First rounder. No trades. Esp for beat up QBs like Romo.
  13. They're gonna take the Best player available in the draft at any position. This is how the Bills build through the draft. If the QB they like is there, they may break the rule. But they do grades on all the players. Buddy will stick to his board.
  14. Couldn't agree more. Well thought out. Now if only they'd listen, lol
  15. My thoughts exactly. OBD needs to be blown up and rebuilt from the ground up. This organization is laughable at best.
  16. Don't you love it. The 2010 Draft has to be hands down our worst draft in Bills history. Not a single starter in the bunch. Not one impact player to come out of it. Ridiculous. Even Marv did a better job. MARV LEVY!!!!!! Wow talk about bad upper management. Why is Modrak still here?
  17. It makes me sick thinking if Buddy wasn't napping at the beginning of FA this year, we could have offered big $$$ to both Peppers and Dansby. Plus adding Merriman now. We would be doing much better than where we are now. But the front 7 is a joke. We basically need 5 new starters there going into the 2011 season. We need 2 DEs and about 3 LBs. Williams and Poz are prob the only starters there worth starting. Hopefully via draft and FA we can get some talent to put some pressure on the QB and opposing OL and help our secondary generate some turnovers. At this point. The Bills should dedicate the majority of the 2011 draft to the Defense.
  18. Gotta love the enthusiasm. However misguided...
  19. For the most part. I Haven't seen him suit up or play for us. The good is, for once at One Bills Drive, they recognized a need and took action to fill it. If Merriman can be an impact player here that's great and hopefully we'll re sign him. If not, no big loss. There are many impact LBs out there via draft and FA we can acquire. The good here is. Buddy recognized a problem, brought in a guy who may be able to help us.
  20. Oh, so that's it. Tell me now? How many SB have New England won since they haven't had an established RB? Hmmm? I don't remember Tom Brady winning a Super bowl on his own either. But I guess that's just me talking crazy talk...
  21. Yea to Merriman. Now if we can only get Moss too. Get all the good players teams don't want. Heck, lord knows we need 'em.
  22. Yeah we wouldn't want a coach who won back to back super bowls. No, not here. We love our 0-7 coach.
