  1. never heard Crazy Miranda before. Nice tune, thanks
  2. John Dorsey has whiffed badly on two head coaches now.
  3. While every other team in the league keeps trying to acquire talent and waits for that talent to bail them out, the Patriots are busy coaching up what they have knowing that as perennial contenders they will never draft very high. Then when those players outperform and leave for more money the Pats get rewarded with compensatory picks. They have a culture where the only star is Brady and everyone else has humbled himself to his role on the team. You can tell that they have a culture of unselfishness where the rest of the league tries to acquire enough stars for a title run only to blow it up when salary cap hell sets in. Rex Ryan misused Gilmore and Mario Williams just to name a few because his scheme was more important than using players to their best potential.
  4. so which player out there would put us over the proverbial top? We go as far as Allen's readiness takes us. That's who this regime has hitched their wagon to
  5. they look thin at RB
  6. went to a Bengals home game in 2015. It was clear they didn't rust him to throw in the Red Zone. He's just another guy in the mold of Neil O'Donnell or Sam Bradford.
  7. He was a decent starter who I'd rank close to Tony Romo or Phillip Rivers.
  8. the Redskins D played very strong versus the Vikes. Adrian Peterson still has game. If Keenum starts we could have a game on our hands. Sounds like Haskins is closing in on the Billy Joe Hobert play calling award
  9. I like Beane's personnel strategy to date. Accumulate draft picks and don't overpay for vets. Any fool can chase his tail like the Bears, Dolphins, Jets and Redskins do year after year. We're still building a culture with the players we have. You can't stroke cheques for that.
  10. as much as I like McDermott, there's no overlooking the schooling he received at the hands of Pederson. The 60+ yard run in the third quarter was inexcusable. We played prevent pass D and it looked like Wentz saw something and audibled out. With those winds how could we not know the Eagles were going to live or die with the run? On offense it looked like our game plan was run so as to give Josh a certain number of reps as opposed to giving us the best chance to win. We also should have stuck with the run. Still none of us expected to go 15 -1 and this was a game I'm sure most of us had pegged as a loss before the season. It is some humble pie that I hope serves as a wake up call to our coaching staff who are seeing the likes of Ken Whisenhunt walk the plank for underachievement. Still I think the Bills are doing a better job with Allen than is being done with Trubisky, Darnold, Rosen and Prescott. We're in a better place than we were a year ago. .500 ball the rest of the way gets us a wildcard. That doesn't satisfy me either but I'll take over where we've been.
  11. No more picks Ryan! ?
  12. did he chew tobacco?
  13. Let's pad our record on the creampuffs
  14. This team is still very young in the journey from door mat to contender
  15. Andy Reid has coached admirably in the absence of Mahomes
  16. The Eagles did a better job managing the weather
  17. I'm not going to dwell on today but it did tell us where we are at in ways that hurt to acknowledge
  18. That was a humbling ass whipping
  19. Let's see if we can capitalize
  20. I guess Pederson can still coach
  21. God doesn't hate us after all
  22. The offense will have to bail out the defense today
