  1. I was really hoping for him. He’s so fun to watch and battles for the ball. OL project, another shot at LB, or a Safety is likely our next pick
  2. I actually don’t think we need to add a WR, but would still be stoked to draft Chuck Sizzle.
  3. How is Simpson still there?
  4. I think we’re going into the season at WR exactly how we are now. Unlikely well add one outside of UDFAs.
  5. Ryan Hayes, OT Michigan Owen Pappoe, LB Auburn
  6. "Since 2017, the Bills have allowed an average of 20 points per game (3rd in the NFL over that span), 315 total yards per game (1st), 202 passing yards per game (1st), 107 passing touchdowns (1st), have racked up 99 interceptions (2nd) and 158 takeaways (2nd)." Imagine being upset about this.
  7. Yeah, cause it’s so easy to find a brilliant offensive coach who will take a team to the SB within a year or two. Probably why there are so rarely HC openings in the NFL. The only thing a new HC is at this point is a step backwards.
  8. Changes at the coordinator level or at least variations in scheme, and committing resources to the O-line while committing to a more balanced offense. I think Cook combined with a bruiser style back can be the solution at RB. I think it’s difficult to be consistently good with a defensive scheme that depends heavily on stud safeties. We saw what happens on the back end with injuries. We need one additional impact player on each side of the ball.
  9. Okay. I’m also fine with the 11 wins from 2021 or the 13 from 2020, and a consistent chance at the SB. More so than firing him and winning 8 or 9 games every season, yes.
  10. No, what I’m saying is it is extremely hard to make it to the SB and I prefer 13-3 with a playoff win and an annual chance at going all the way over 8 and 9 win seasons.
  11. Chargers fired a coach after a 14 win season and followed it up with a ton of 7, 8, and 9 win seasons with an outlier here and there (both positive and negative). For all those people wanting a coaching change, is that really what you want to go back to? Only two teams make the SB each year and I’m glad we consistently have a shot and consistently win playoff games each year. Unless McDermott has multiple losing seasons in a row, he should be employed in Buffalo as the HC until he chooses to retire.
  12. I just can’t fathom this. I get upset to miss single plays within a game, even during the seasons when we were only winning a handful of games.
  13. Josh is going to need to start throwing two balls, one with each hand, on every play to make sure everyone is receiving enough touches and targets. Actually, he may need a third so when he decides to run on his own.
  14. Too bad we couldn’t convince a really good coach to come to Buffalo, like a Rex Ryan or someone.
  15. I thought this was going to be a Total Recall thread.
  16. Give me Matt Araiza and Connor Heyward (FB, MSU - excellent pass blocker and pile mover/short yardage back) and I’d be happy.
  17. Really hoping we can get David Bell
  18. Trying to think about guys not already mentioned, maybe Hines Ward on offense due to the benefit of his blocking ability and he just always seemed to make plays. On defense, Ed Reed or Luke Kuechly.
  19. Completely unsubstantiated rumors were it was to make #24 available for a Gilmore return.
  20. I think part of the plan to help the CB situation was to improve the pass rush, which we’ve done. Hyde and Poyer also make up for average CB play, and their help over the top and in the middle has allowed Tre to shine and elevated the play of our other CBs. With the pass rush improved and Poyer and Hyde, I think finding elite level CB talent is not as big of a deal. Yes, I absolutely feel we need CB help. Hopefully a veteran and an early draft pick. But, I also feel the other pieces of the D are designed to take some pressure off a young CB or a veteran who has lost a step. I also wonder how long Hyde and Poyer both continue to play at the level we’ve come to expect, and how long until neither of them play at that level. With this in mind, a CB drafted with first or second round picks for the next couple years makes sense, as you expect your young CBs to adjust to the game and pick up the slack as safety play begins to fall off.
  21. I skimmed the pages and did not see this so far, but it seems like an obvious win to do a "photo booth" type event. The best part is you could have 2 or 3 players at a time, either at different photo stations (I'm going to say stations because you would not want an actual booth, but more like a photo shoot area) or all together at one. Though having multiple stations would help more fans move through the activity. So say you have 4 photo stations with one player at each, fans could choose which player they wait in line for and the rest of the players could be off doing other activities, and then maybe swap out the players every 30 or 60 minutes. You could do football themed backgrounds or use green screens. Football themed props seem like a no brainer, but maybe mix it up. Who would want a picture with Josh while you're both wearing Buffalo Wing hats and holding light sabers? Everyone, that's who. The best part is, you could give a wallet sized photo or 5x7 photo for free that prints off immediately at printers set up by the photo stations, but then provide a website where fans can go to order additional prints and photo packages, magnets and coasters with their photo on them, etc. This puts more money in your pocket while providing an amazing experience for the fan.
  22. How many have worked for the same boss for 4 years and not been pissed at them at least once?
  23. Despite leading one of the top offenses in the league (after decades of misery) some people still think that was a bad hire and were happy to see him go. It makes no sense.
  24. How so? You think the drive will last 3 quarters?
