  1. Yeah, but you never know. The person you’re sharing that new first kiss with could be bat crazy or have a foot fetish or something. Yes.
  2. If there was one thing that always brought a ton of excitement it was the process of searching for a new coach and GM. I look around at all of these other teams and read the news about interviews and new coaches addressing the media and we’re here with all this continuity. It’s almost like realizing I may never get that first kiss again. I’m in year 4 of a marriage, and sure we’re doing new things and it’s still exciting at times, but it’s the same person. I may be stuck for life with the same person. I guess I’ll TRY to focus on and get pumped for the AFC Championship game instead of focusing on what other teams are doing.
  3. I’ve made comments about this before and my wife probably gets tired of hearing it 40 times every game. Even with everyone healthy, McKenzie needs more touches. Touch passes in the backfield, quick plays to the outside, sweeps, screens, etc. I would even love to see him as part of a two back set where he gets a pitch from Allen and a chance to take it around the edge. Even in a more traditional WR role he has shown he can get open. We have a lot of weapons on this offense and everyone deserves their opportunities. It’s difficult to always work in a role player like McKenzie and I get that. But, his speed and elusiveness with the ball in his hands should be something we use to our advantage. I’ll also add this. I think some of the plays we saw early in the season that have disappeared as of late, like the fake end around and sweeps to McKenzie that we saw multiple times a game early in the year, come back in the AFC Championship and SB with new wrinkles/outcomes. Like the plays where McKenzie was always in motion but never got the ball, he’ll actually get the ball. Or the hard counts on 4th and short, we’re going to actually snap some of those and run a play.
  4. I was entertained! I actually thought it was an energy packed, exciting game... just not much scoring. There’s more to entertainment in football than high scores alone.
  5. Hughes didn’t get held for the first time all year and Murphy made a play.
  6. I liked the idea first time and trying to get Brown the ball with Space to make a play... but don’t like the sameish call twice in a row.
  7. After tonight, I’m fine if we only get two more wins this season.
  8. "To me, tackling him ... you better throw big bodies at him because he's a big body," Martindale said. "I told the defense earlier: 'We need to tackle him like you tackle Henry because that's the way he runs.' He's a tough challenge that we have." Baltimore D Coordinator talking about Allen. I hope this results in Allen staying healthy and multiple 15 yards penalties on them.
  9. I’m starting to feel blowout. Something like 34-17 Bills win.
  10. The nice thing we have going for us now is that if they commit to shutting down Diggs we have so many other weapons. On a similar note, I still didn’t see any reason as to why McKenzie went missing last week. I would have liked to have seen at least one sweep or fake end around.
  11. At least the Bills can get started on watching Baltimore tape.
  12. Going to work drunk is never a good idea. You better call in sick.
  13. When thinking about this game for the last couple of hours I failed to consider the Colts being a dome team. That definitely plays in our favor. I could see rivers throwing a ball outside the numbers to the right, and some gusting winds blowing it to the left hash marks.
  14. Yeah, it’s a sketchy time to put a kid in an Uber and send them off to a hockey game while you stay home and watch the game. With covid you never know if the Uber would be sanitized properly.
  15. That won’t even pay for the covid test.
  16. Didn’t they beat us once in the playoffs or something? I forget.
  17. It seems too easy. Are we still worried about teams like the Dolphins at all?
  18. Seems like most of the points we’ve allowed lately come when we turn the ball over at our own 30 or give the other team 30 yards of penalties. Teams aren’t earning much on their own against us right now.
